This is a designated thread where you can share your feedback about the Community Hub itself (features, usability, experience). When posting your feedback in this thread, we encourage you to follow some best practices outlined below. By following these guidelines, we are ensuring that collected feedback is relevant, actionable, and will serve towards improvements of the Community.
How Should I Provide the Feedback?
Post your feedback with as much information as possible. Check out our Community Guide to Posting as a starting point. The more information you can share, the more actionable and clear your feedback is.
We recommend your feedback should follow the below format:
Title = Feedback on bCommunity Area/Component]
Feedback Body = Use clear and consistent language. Describe the issue or the roadblock you are seeing. Share the goal or desired state of the Community that feedback would help achieve.
Attachments/Examples = Please share screenshots and page links and as many specifics as possible when sharing your feedback. This will help provide valuable context around what you are seeing and where in the Community.
Commenting on the Existing Feedback
You can also add additional comments to existing feedback from another community member by using the “Quote feature
If you agree with their feedback please kudo their reply.
Note: Please do not share feedback about Strava features here. This area is reserved only for feedback about the Community Hub. If you have any ideas or recommendations on how to improve Strava features, please navigate to Ideas.

The sorting of replies in a post doesn’t work. When I change it from the default “Oldest first” to “Newest first” I will be redirected to the start page of the hub and the ordering of posts there will be changed from “Recently active” to “Newest first” instead:

Thanks for flagging, Jan! We’ve escalated this to our team for further investigation. Once more updates are available, we’ll be sure to share that here.
Let’s say I browse through a list of topics by clicking the “Show more” button a few times and scrolling down through the list. If I decide to open any specific post from the list and then go back to the list of topics, any context of where I was in the list is completely lost - the list is collapsed and I have to start browsing from scratch. That is rather annoying.
Voting for ideas - the old hub would show my “like” (thumbs up) already on the preview in the list of ideas, now I need to click & open each idea to see whether I've already voted for it. The old way was more user friendly.
Bug: The “Unanswered questions” section has many topics with answers included, some even have solutions and the like counter is always incorrectly 0:

Hello @Jan_Mantau thanks for your feedback! Our team is aware of this and working on smoothening imperfections around the Hub so we appreciate your patience! Once more updates are available, we’ll circle back here!

Thanks for your feedback @Jana_S - we appreciate it and totally understand that there will be some adjustments when it comes to the new Hub experience.
We have also made some tweaks to distinguish the colours of the ideas so the experience should be a little better now!
Oh and one more thing... I can't find the notifications (indicator nor list) - is it hidden or is it missing?
Most importantly, I find the community hub to be slow. The initial page load on a topic is easily two seconds. This makes browsing the community hub quite painful. (I’m in Northern Europe on a 250 Mbps connection.)
Another question - when submitting a comment/answer with a screenshot, it's not published and awaiting approval now. Are moderators aware of a queue of such pending comments?

This seems to work now!

Hello @Jana_S - thank you for the feedback re notifications. We've been informed that a solution for in-page notifications is coming soon. In the meantime, we recommend utilising the email notifications.

Hello @Jana_S - appreciate the feedback! In our ongoing efforts to improve features originally designed to motivate and inspire athletes, mechanisms have been implemented to detect and prevent suspicious, underage, or unsafe activity on Strava, including the Community Hub. To keep the community safe, some content may be flagged for review and will be looked at by our team before it appears. We appreciate your patience with this and we'll also be sharing this feedback with the team.
@JBW-Florida Even stranger is that these 140 likes come from only 135 people. Maybe some left the hub or Strava in the downtime.
@Jan_Mantau
Don’t mean to go off-topic, but I wonder why I take it so seriously, sometimes, since management doesn’t seem to. There currently over 700 ideas open to voting. That’s just clutter, a black hole designed to appease us into thinking we users have a say in the matter. Much like “noise” segments, the so-called “ideas” cry out for a clean-up. But that one idea I mentioned really was getting about one vote per day.

Hmm, I believe it's actually 140 people - it shows five user icons + 135, i.e. an equivalent of facebooks “John Doe, Jane Doe and 5 others liked your post"
Anyway, yes I've noticed a decrease in the number of votes at some ideas too, maybe there were some upvotes/kudos between the old hub data export and the new hub launch..?
In the old hub I got an in site notification (a counter in my profile name) when someone mentioned me or liked my answers. I don’t get these in the new hub. Note that I disabled everything in the setting/notifications setup because I don’t want to clutter my email inbox with hub notifications, maybe that’s the problem. But there should be separate settings for email notifications and in site notifications as there were before.

@Lola has mentioned that the website notifications should be back soon (I’m also missing them - the emails are generating too much clutter...)
@Jana_S Thanks, I forgot or didn’t read that. Slowly it becomes confusing here with all the things that don’t work (yet).
As of now I can’t see a single improvement compared to the old hub and I’m wondering why completely normal forum functions aren’t there from the start. It’s as if Strava tries to invent forum software from scratch instead of utilizing reliable software for that which exists since decades.
That would explain why you can “unlike” posts here, but you can’t un-kudo on the main site. And you get member rankings here, but not there. My guess is this forum has some added anti-spam features for the admins to use behind the scenes. In the days immediately prior to shutting the old hub down, it was subject to a lot of posts from a bot trying to sell abortion pills to middle eastern women.
The admins still probably have some fine tuning to do on this software for usability.

The website notifications seem to be back, yay! Gonna disable those pesky emails now
So, now that some posts (e.g those with screenshots) require approval: is there a way to see my own posts/comments pending review? Thanks!
