I'm really disappointed that Strava killed the Fatmap app without offering any way to see in-resort ski run steepness info like I used to be to. As a beginner/intermediate skier, it often made the difference in whether or not I felt comfortable trying a new run without having to send a more skilled friend first. :(

Still waiting for slope angle shading, routes, and more to be brought into strava maps...this is CRUCIAL for safe backcountry ski travel.

They achieved what they wanted: eliminating the competition. Now, FatMap doesn’t matter to them because it’s no longer a problem for them. The average Strava user doesn’t need FatMap’s features, and FatMap users don’t need Strava.

Still no updates? Seriously? What kind of joke is this?
