Is there a chance that your friend’s activity is not a Run, rather, it's a walk or a hike? I believe Strava only displays runs by default. On the web you’d have to click the walk or hike icon to see the total YTD data for that specific activity. Is it also possible that your friend set the activities to be only visible to themselves; therefore there’s no cumulative data visible

​@MarkSchenkel  This is a bug people already have created support tickets for, the gist is that Strava doesn’t include activities visible to followers when followers are viewing the stats. But you already know that seeing that you have posted the same text prior on the existing thread

​@MarkSchenkel Appreciate your posting. I’ve been using Strava 8-9 years. Pretty frustrating that Strava has not done anything about this given that it’s been going on for months. The inaction has changed my perception of Strava as a progressive company, and I'm trying out other apps at the moment

I’ve written about this on other forums. Many others have too. I’ve emailed Strava endlessly, without response. I’m at my wits’ end. Infuriating.
