why does this feature use standard maps? Usually it uses satellite maps. Is there a solution for this?
Sometime after February 4th, any workout uploaded to Strava now gets pinned as a treadmill workout. Why is that happening? I have to go in unmarked the `Treadmill` now on every activity since then to get rid of it and I have to remove the `Treadmill Workout` from the description.
I noticed that someone recently asked that the minimum length of mountain bike Segments be decreased and the post was quickly archived by an admin on the basis that reverting Strava changes could not be discussed.I have some sympathy for the poster - I was also somewhat frustrated by the recent increase in minimum length of bike Segments from 300m to 500m. In my area there has been some good competition over Segments about 400 to 450m in length but such Segments can no longer be created or edited (the change happened as I was working on a new Segment of about 450m - it now finishes closer to a T junction than I would like but editing is no longer possible).I don't remember seeing any requests from Strava users for such a change in the previous Strava Support forums so I wonder if someone at Strava could give some background to their reasons for making the change and their methodologies for determining minimum Segment lengths for each Activity type ? It seems that after my Export of my Data to Excel, I am getting a huge number for Time (seconds?) and what may be the distance in kilometers (see below).How do I get the Elapsed Time field in hours:minutes:seconds so I can tally and format in Excel?How do I set the DIstance to be in Miles (not what appears to be kilometers) such as 6.75 Miles? Anyone else having issues with the strava app on the iPhone? I did a run this morning. Struggled to load it via the Garmin watch. I can’t see any fresh feed updates since yesterday. I know friends have done an activity. But I can’t see them. This is the same for when I log on online too. Rather frustrating. I’ve logged out. Logged in. Deleted the app. Re installed the app. And also turned the phone off and on. Still the same.
For the first time I encountered a problem with the virtual ride from Rouvy - the times on the segments are recorded, but for all segments I am not in the ranking. The activity is publicly visible, it doesn't have a hidden map and refreshing the results didn't help. Is this a bug through the fact that it was a ride where the load was controlled by the ERG mode on the trainer? I've never had this happen before.https://www.strava.com/activities/12876761870
The cycling data I recorded with the Apple Watch Workout app shows a significant difference in Strava compared to the data in the Fitness app on my iPhone after importing.
Hello,I have a problem syncing my fitness app with a third party Strava account. Everything is enabled and connected to each other but the activity is never transferred in the Strava app. Does anyone have the same experience or a solution?

I see on strava status there are problems. We are facing problems submitting activities via API. Normally this is very stable for years for us so we are pretty sure strava API has errors. Anyone else seeing this?
Hello,My App seems to be blocked since a few days. I always get a 403 error by CloudFront when trying to reach http://www.strava.com from my web host. I absolutely do not abuse daily requests limits. Hi there,when tracking my rides with Apple Watch, the data recorded is a plausible and consistent match with other resources, e.g. komoot pre ride track planning.Importing the recorded track however, has a strange impact especially on altitude information. A track with 300 meters of altitude difference (Apple, komoot, paper map) e.g. easily gets imported as 600+ meters in Strava. This gives a wrong information for the training status and kind of nags on my credibility with those who joined me for the ride 😉 😉Why doesn‘t Strava simply take the well recorded data from Apple, but applies some additional magic during import, that actually goes so significantly wrong?thanks a lot!Thomas

Is it possible to change the order of challenges on the Android Strava app? I need to scroll all the way to the end of 2024 to see the current challenges.
With the recent attempts to ‘clean up’ segments I can understand the deletion of duplicates. However many quite normal and popular segments have just disappeared. And yet there are still flagged segments on my desktop feed. Why aren’t all flagged segments immediately removed in one overnight purge, and any segment not ridden in 5 years [this would remove most bad GPS segments, and old abandoned training route.] Perhaps give people the chance to nominate segments for deletion or renaming rights.
Strava Live tracking doesn't show Segment Time anymore as it used to do. This is since the make over from dark orange/teal to red/blue icons. You get live tracking, but at the end of the segment no time appears just a red/blue crown, so all you know most times it that you did or didn’t beat a previous time PR or KQOM. Also it always disappeared too quickly anyway, give 5 extra seconds to look at the display. I can’t be the only one huffing and blowing t the end of a segment look down and the data has gone.
After riding today, I looked at my activity feed on my laptop. Seemed OK, I gave some kudos, made a few comments. Then I realized, when I reloaded: any activity I had given kudos or commented seems to have vanished from my feed (including my own activities!) I tried switching back and forth several times between “Latest Activities” and “Personalized,” which seems to make no difference. Nor does logging out, clearing caches, and reloading. Please; can Activity Feed just show recent activities by me and those I follow (with as few silly ads as possible, but I know you need to place them), and not try to get clever. Don’t removed items from feed after I’ve looked at them. Don’t reorder or skip according to what YOU think I want to see. Just show the feed! Thank you.
I know it is a small thing but it is one of those things that is quite annoying about Strava. You know that situation when you finish a run and notice that it is very close to a round number of miles, than you run a bit further to make it e. g. 5 miles. Then it uploads to Strava and shows as 4.99 miles in some parts of the app and 4.9 miles in other parts of the app (e. g. the training calendar). Can Strava stop doing that?
My pace updates I got through my headphones have disappeared and I can't find where in the settings to turn them back on?
As of about a week ago any workout I have tried to upload to Strava through the API is never being processed. I checked my console log when uploading and I get a response message with a successful response code. The status field states - “Your activity is still being processed.” Here is an example of the response:success({ "activity_id" = "<null>"; error = "<null>"; "external_id" = "jtw_673D5484-C0C2-40E0-B726-B6E04C98BE86.fit"; id = 13724712499; "id_str" = 13724712499; status = "Your activity is still being processed.";})When I try to manually upload the same FIT file through my profile it begins “analyzing” the file, but never completes. Also never met with any kind of error code. I have not made any changes to how I am creating these FIT files and they have been processed successfully for over a year up until this point. Has Strava possibly changed/added a required field that I am unaware of?
On 15th September I run a half marathon and got a massive PB. It only recorded as 13.06 however was issued the half marathon badge. I ran with a fellow club member and his recorded correctly. I have tried the correct distance feature however it doesn't work. Can the 0.5 be added so that the half records as PB in best efforts.I have tried to contact previously but no one seems to get back.Would really appreciate help

I seem to be missing all my friends runs from a race this morning in my feed. If I search individual name I can see it, but feed is missing days. Have un-installed and reinstalled, and restarted phone...not helping.
