When viewing my activity you used to be able to drag open the map with a resizer or a drag grip to enlarge it to what ever size you wanted and keep all the data in view, now that function is not there you have now to open the map fully which then takes away all the data etc, its also not there when you go into analyze a segment same thing you have to enlarge to full screen why have you done this as it was a good feature and now annoying 

As Strava has been working to expand the Fatmap engine to web, I want to make this post to point out the things it does decently, mostly misses the mark on, and really needs to do better at. I use Firefox on a Windows machine to inform my experience. I’m using an activity from a friend as examples and the opinions may not apply to other sports since cycling is my main type.Activity Overview: Map window should still be resizable. You cannot scroll to zoom while hovering over a photo (scrolls the whole page). Ideally the photo is exactly where you want to zoom into. Geolocated photos should be toggleable. Playback of flyover should also have a playhead on the elevation graph. Flyover should hide the user photos or at least not obscure the line. Perhaps a pointy teardrop shape and staggered z-axis elevation to lift them from the plane? “Create Route” button should still say “save route” instead, unclear as-is Mousing over the line should reflect the location on the elevation p

Why dont we ever hear back on suggestions we’ve taken the effort to register? All we see it a small amount of upvotes, and never hear back again. The reason for the small amount of votes is because of the effort it requires to register on the community hub. If this was an easier process for the average Strava User (voting) we would see a surge in upvotes! Come on Strava, you can do better? 

Agree or disagree: should classic and skate skiing have their own categories?

When I go to the the map and i want to choose backcountry ski is not in the list, any ski related sport is not on the list.

It would be helpful to be able to filter routes by sun exposure.  Incorporating information on tree cover might be a challenge, but accounting for topography, buildings, time of day and time of year would be a start, which is information that seems to be available on other tools:  https://shademap.app/.

Hi everyone I’m the developer of a fitness app integrated with Strava, and I’d like to ask for some advice from the community.Our app has grown to ~999 connected athletes, and we recently applied to increase our athlete limit to 10,000. Unfortunately, the request has not been approved yet, even though user growth is ongoing and we’re close to hitting the current cap.I’m curious to hear from others: Has anyone here successfully gotten their athlete limit increased beyond 1,000? How long did the approval process take in your case? Were there any specific metrics, usage patterns, or implementation details (e.g. webhooks, deauthorization flow, caching strategy) that helped with approval? Our running club is not showing any of our runs this week within the leaderboard. Nothing has been changed since last week, and all activities are showing in the feed. I managed to sync mine, by hiding the time on the entry and it has shown as 1/1 member which is incorrect as there are 8 members.is this a problem, or can anyone help? 

Discovered yesterday/today that my mileage for this week is not showing on club stats leaderboards despite showing in club activities feed.  On closer inspection there are a number of others with activities in the club feed this week who don’t show on the leaderboard and at least one athlete who is on the leaderboard but with less milage than what they have completed this week.  This is not related to activity type.  This is not isolated to a single club.  

Hi,I’m experiencing the likewise issue as below link and would appreciate guidance. A private road on my property is still routable on Strava, even though it is correctly tagged as access=private in OpenStreetMap. Despite multiple support tickets, the issue has been repeatedly closed without comment, and routing continues to direct users through my property. This has resulted in repeated trespassing. My question to the community (or Strava moderators) is:Is there any way to request a routing geofence or routing block for private property when OSM is already correct, but Strava routing still allows it?Any advice from others who have dealt with similar situations would be appreciated. 

A Segment is exactly that, a segment of a route or journey, it has nothing to do with a rider name or bike type! Strava needs to sort the leaderboard arguments out in their App so that each different bike type doesn’t have to keep reinventing the wheel by re-entering segments that are we have been used to using for years and just because we change bike type for a ride we are punished and lose the segments!

I just entered the 55 plus category, and looking ahead to 65, it's hard to imagine going as hard  as I do now.  Just as I know it's noticeably harder now than it was at 45.  Lord knows I'm working my tail off.  So it seems that after 45 or 50, it would be a bit more fair and beneficial to make it a 5 year age group.  Personally, I don't mind people knowing my age either, so it'd be nice to see a person's age in their profile so I know if I'm competing against a young kid or not.

I rode tonight and got a KOM on The Lost Boys Segment. This should be removed.

I'm not sure why this changed, but it used to be that when I started recording an activity through my Apple watch, the activity types I did most often showed up at the top of the list. However, recently, the order has completely changed, and I have to do a lot of scrolling to find the activity type I do the most.I'm not sure if this is a feature or a bug, but it's certainly annoying.

Strava watch interactions seem to be bugged. Previously, the quick start watch tile would show your 3 recent activities and the option for a list. Now, it just shows run, walk and cycle, and selecting one of these will not start the activity, but will open the list of activities.Activities aren't ordered in any logical way. With ride types not together, indoors activities not together, or alphabetical at the least. Often times selecting something from the quick start tiles will tell you a workout is already active, before crashing and then starting over showing the activity list.Previous posts have been made, but it's been going on for so long that folks think that this is the norm. Is there a way to keep the ride ‘live’ on Strava, but to exclude it from the Fitness/Freshness algorithm calculations?Last September, on holiday, I climbed a number of mountains on my bike, including Tourmalet.  Part way up that climb, my power meter began to malfunction and, broadly speaking, continuously added about 600-watts to my actual power at any given time.  Whilst that resulted in a rather impressive set of stats at the end of the ride (!), it was obviously incorrect.  It has also meant that every Fitness/Freshness graph I produce on Strava ever since has a huge and misleading ‘peak’ if I let the system calculate it using power.If it had been pretty much any other ride, I would probably have simply deleted that ride from Strava to avoid the distortion, but, for obvious reasons, I wanted to keep that particular’s day’s climbs as part of my ‘official record’.
