Hi All, I changed my workout patterns entirely and play tennis 4-6 times a week but want to track my cardio performance etc. I play competitively now but in my strava it only offers me to switch a default to cycling. It does, however, let me manually change activities to Tennis once they are registered. My activities are tracked on my Garmin and auto-upload. 


Any help, workarounds, or alternative ideas for those mainly doing non-triathlon sports are welcome.

Thanks for your post. When an activity file is uploaded to your Strava account, we look to see if the Partner (in this case Garmin) has included an activity type in the file. If they have, we use that information to set the activity type on Strava.


Does your Garmin give you the option to record in a "tennis" mode? If not, that's why we're not able to automatically show your activity as tennis when it is synced in. I recommend checking your Garmin device to see if this is available.
