Hi! My runs often include a 5-minute warmup that I’d like to exclude when calculating the average pace for a run. Is that possible? I have a Garmin watch.

thanks,

Mario

You could crop the warmup part of the run in Strava, you could split the run in two activities, you could start the recording only after the warmup, you could use the lap function on your watch to see the average of the “real” run, there are so many possibilities...

Ah that is true good thoughts. On my watch the warmup / cooldown and the run itself are separated into laps – I guess I’m just wondering if there’s a way to make Strava know which ones are the warmup / cooldown and which are the actual exercise. Maybe there is not
