Garmin to Strava query (new to both)

New to Garmin/Strava (and swimming for that matter). Auto upload from Garmin to Strava, is the nearly 2 minute pace difference between the two due Garmin taking into consideration my multiple rests between lengths but Strava not? 

Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.

Yes, Strava bases the overall pace calculation on the total elapsed time while Garmin is only using the moving time.
