I run the iOS app, and ever since a recent update the app disconnects my Polar HR Monitor...in the middle of an activity. Most of the time I have to rediscover and replace/re-add it, but even then there is no guarantee it will stay connected for the duration of the workout.
I have replaced the battery, and the monitor does stay connected to the Health app, which I did just as a test.
Just wondering if this is unique to my experience, or if others are having similar issues?

It sounds like you're having a frustrating issue with your Polar HR Monitor disconnecting during activities. While this problem seems specific to your app and device configuration, it's not uncommon for updates to occasionally introduce connectivity issues.
Have you tried any troubleshooting steps specific to the app or device? For example, ensure that the app permissions and Bluetooth settings are properly configured. Sometimes, reinstalling the app or updating to the latest version can help resolve such issues. Also, check for any firmware updates for your Polar HR Monitor that might improve compatibility.
In case the issue persists, you might want to reach out to the app’s support team for further assistance. They can provide more detailed help or bug fixes.
