My Garmin activity this morning still not loaded into Strava yet, it synced into RunKeeper though,
Same here in Toronto. My run this morning (March 5) did not register on Strava, though it is in Garmin Connect app. Frustrating, but I’m also glad to know I’m not the only one.
My ride from this lunch time hasn’t sync’d either. Hoping it will later. It’s a right pain when this happens.
Hi. Agreed. I am just waiting for my ride data to sync from today’s ride. Same problem yesterday.
Ditto for me in Vancouver. Nothing has sync'd since yesterday morning. That's 6 activities total. I've had to export TCX from Connect and upload the file in Strava.
That would be a connect issue, not a Fenix. If the activity syncs from the watch to Garmin Connect and doesn't show up on Strava, then Connect isn't pushing the activity. Mine used to be instantaneous and I've had to manually export TCX from Connect, then upload to Strava. I'm on a Fenix 7x.
It's an issue on the Garmin Connect side, so why would you wonder why you pay for Strava. If your activity syncs from your device to Connect, but doesn't show up on Strava, then Connect isn't pushing it up. If a different service like a Zwift ride shows up on Strava (which I'll be testing shortly) then it's definitely a Garmin issue.
The issue is likely Strava as at the time the events were recorded/uploaded to Strava, Strava was having issues which have since been closed out. Those
Had an activity from yesterday that did not sync.
Went through Strava app, disconnected and reconnected Garmin and 5 minutes after received the notification of the activity being uploaded.
Update. My run from yesterday finally synced with Strava today (March 6) after I disconnected and reconnected with Garmin on the Strava app this morning.
I had problems with this last weekend. Several of my friends reports issue with the synching. Is it Garmin or Strava?
None of my activities have synced since Saturday, including the run that I just did. I’ve unsynced my watch from the Garmin app, unsynced Garmin from Strava, deleted both apps, reinstalled both apps, and re-synced, so I’ve tried all the possible troubleshooting options that I know to do. This is a bummer, and I won’t be renewing my subscription for sure. It’s generally just unprofessional that they haven’t proactively sent anything out since it seems to be fairly widespread.
I've just disconnected my garmin from strava and reconnected it. And my activities from 24hours ago were synced into strava within seconds. Do try it out! Tried it at 22:20pm (+8GMT)

Also, there was an update with one of my devices that I had to do. I am not sure if that solved the issue.
I've removed the Strava-Garmin connection in the app twice now and nothing. We will see if this morning's bike commute syncs when I get to work.
Bike commute sync'd today. First activity in two days to do so. Hopefully this issue is over now.
I was still not getting any of my activities showing up in Strava but after I did this, they started coming through.
Thanks Simon!
Just done a windsurf and its on garmin connect but still no transfer to Strava. Rouvy uploaded to Strava instantly yesterday. Now becoming a pain. Says on status page 'All Systems Operational'. Wonder if Strava even looks at these forums?!?
Someone else in this forum said maybe this is a Garmin Connect issue, not a Strava issue. They said Garmin Connect is failing to push the information to Strava. I personally have no idea, but this kind of makes sense to me, especially if your Rouvy data is uploading immediately, but the Garmin Connect data isn't.
My missing activities were all done when Strava had an issue. They've since appeared but took ages.
Today also it is not syncing.. when will issue be resolved??
Same issues for last 2 weeks. No solution place.
same...and Beacon also hasn't been working.
👋 Hi All!
Sorry for the trouble. We recently had an issue where we experienced syncing delays with Garmin and are currently backfilling our queues, therefore any missing activities are working to sync automatically.
If you still do not see your activity after 24 hours you can export the original from Garmin Connect and upload it to Strava from our upload page. If you see any error messages when uploading the original, please take a screenshot and let us know. Also please send the file that is producing the error message so a support team member can further investigate.
On Garmin:
- On a computer, log into your Garmin Connect account. (https://connect.garmin.com/)
- Use the left-hand toolbar to navigate to your "Activities" page.
- Click on the activity that you need to export.
You will be brought to the actual activity, not the list of activities. If you are still on the list of activities you will not see the correct export options.
- Use the gear icon in the upper-right corner to view your export options.
- Choose the format you wish to export. If your device records natively in .fit format, and you wish to export that version, use the "Export Original" option.
If you do not see these export options, that means you are still on the activity list page. Please click on the activity and access the activity detail page that includes the map and full data of information.
The best option would be to export the Original. Keep in mind, if this is a large activity it may export this file as a .zip format. You will need to open the .zip file to uncompress the file to produce the .fit file. If you need instructions for opening a .zip please let us know.

On Strava:
- Once you have your file saved on your computer, please open your Strava account.
- Go to https://www.strava.com/upload/select to select the file and upload directly to Strava.
If you need further assistance, please submit a support ticket and our team will take a look at your account and provide further assistance.
