Strava Community Hub

As I've followed more people over time, my activity feed has become overwhelmed with notices about the clubs they've joined. I just want to see their activities and nothing else. Please add a feature that allows users to select the types of content they see on their feed (i.e., selectively turn on/off clubs joined, challenges completed, etc.). ... View more

Most cyclists think in terms of kilometres. Most runners in the UK and US think in terms of miles. My thinking is with the most, so I have my Garmin set to display kilometres cycling and miles running. But Strava forces me to choose one or the other. This poses me a problem: as a cyclist I do not understand how far or fast a ride is when distance and speed are expressed in miles, while as a runner I do not understand how far and fast a run is when distance and pace are expressed in kilometers! Please could you fix it so that I can display my rides in kilometers and my runs in miles, just as I do on my Garmin. Thanks! ... View more

It seems like most social media platforms are adding "pinned" posts to the top of your feed / profile. I think this would be a sweet feature for Strava on the profile page, as you could showcase your best efforts or activities that you're proud of, and make them easy to find instead of getting buried in the feed. I like to see how I rank compared to other Friends and Athletes I follow. I also value my privacy. Yet, when I have my activities privacy setting to "Followers" only (which is my default) - that activity does not show up on the "Followers" leaderboard. Therefore, I cannot utilize this feature without compromising my account privacy and security by chancing the activity visibility. I do NOT want my activities to be visible to Everyone, which compromises bike theft, personal privacy, work privacy, etc... If we allow Followers to see these activities, why can't we also see how we rank against these same Followers? ... View more
