Curious if there’s anything that can be done to have turn by turn directions on live segments. I imagine you could add a route but it would be helpful to have directions during a segment and even directions to nearby segments.

You really have to create a route then. For tbt without a route you should ask in Wahoo forums if these exist. Or you buy a Garmin Edge, there you can enable tbt for a Strava segment without a route, tbt to a preselected segment and you see all your starred segments in a special color on the map during the activity 🙂
