I made a mistake trying to use my Wellhub gifted premium membership. I ended up applying it to one email which also happens to be an old account, but not the one I am currently using. I want to transfer the premium to my current active account instead but the code expires and a new one only issues every 6 months.  

I did several climb segments on dead-end asphalt roads yesterday on a 7kg-ish road bike and noted that my times were beaten by riders who had continued past the end of the metalled road and on to mountain trails. These folk were obviously not on road bikes because of the terrain they encountered later in their rides and I can’t believe many people would be able to ride an unassisted MTB up a climb as fast as a lightweight road bike. What else did these segment times have in common? They had no HR or power data. I’m not necessarily in favour of disallowing rides without power data as many can’t warrant the cost of buying a power meter but surely HR data should be a minimum requirement of a segment time? I’m 63-years old and if I get a top ten time on a hilly segment I’m pretty happy with myself as it normally means an all-out effort. It can be pretty demoralising to discover that many of the times above mine have been gained with motor assistance. 

Hello to everyone, I need some help if someone knows something more than I do. I recently became a subscriber to Strava again after a year off and I was hoping that I would be able to use some routes either created by me or by either people. I can not seem to find if there is a button to say export gpx file or something like that. When I download a route i save it and afterwards when I press the 3 dots at the map I have no such option. When saved it says , save to the connected device but it is not saved at my watch. I am currently using a Huawei watch fit 4 pro. Even when I press the sent to button it says the content is just plain text so nothing? Any ideas?

I started a ride this morning with Strava running on my Apple watch. (Learning the ins & outs of a Garmin Edge 840 leaves me wanting a bigger screen.) So I stopped my ride at ~ 10 miles, then shut the Edge down, started a ride on Strava in the app on my iPhone.So I have two rides now: first’s 10.21 miles in 46 minutes, second’s 7.05 miles in 38 minutes.Is there some way in the Dashboard to combine these two into one ‘event’ record?Or can I use my Edge to run Strava my next time out?

I miss the old Strava feature that let us download a shareable image of our activity — you know, the one with the map on top and stats (distance, time, elevation) at the bottom? It was perfect for posting on social. Any chance it’s coming back?

I’ve always appreciated the clarity and simplicity of Strava’s map tool, which has been indispensable for both planning my runs and navigating on the trail. However, the recent update has introduced new features that, while intended to enhance our experience, unfortunately clutter the map and compromise its ease of use. The additional information now overlays the map, making it difficult to focus on the essentials, particularly when I'm out on the trails.While I recognize the good intentions behind these updates, the true value of the map tool for me has always been its straightforward, clean presentation, showcasing both global and personal heatmap data without unnecessary distractions. Previously, I could circumvent the issue of multiple route suggestions by switching to the 'Saved' tab, a workaround that's no longer available. Has anyone else changed email on an account and it’s now logging you into your old account and not your current account? I’ve submitted a ticket but I haven’t had anything back from Strava so I was seeing if anyone here knows how to resolve this situation. Thanks everyone

So I have a Samsung Galaxy Watch 6.This week I am in Alcudia and using  treadmill. I have the Samsung Health app linked with Strava so no issues there. I started the app on my watch. And Strava has me down for either an Olympic contender to thrash Usain Bolt out the window or I ran 21 minutes but according to the app... I did 4 minutes. Have attached pics of last 3 treadmill runs  

I have a questipn regarding average pace while running. I always just see on my phone the pace for the current kilometer, but not for thw whole distance during running. how can i change that ? thanks from austria. markus

Last 3 days I get 20-30+ notifications about 'ride paused 'ride resumed on a 2 hour ride.  The messages are usually are about 1-5 seconds apart.   Then when today's ride was over,  it gave me extra mileage for an identical route and faster speed (by 1 mph) than I've ever clocked. Based in how I felt today, I would have guessed I had lower than average speed .I live in metro Atlanta and have a strong signal the whole way.  Never heard this message before 3 days ago, unless I really had stopped/resumed.Anyone else experienced this? 

I am unsuccessfully trying to change the email associated with my Strava account from A to B. I use Google Sign-In to access Strava. When trying to change my email address it asks me for a password, but I have never created a password. I tried to use the password Recovery option many times but never received an email.When going to the account settings page I see the option for changing password but it dissappears the moment the page loads.I emailed Stava support about the issue but I'm not getting my hopes up. I see a lot of people complaing about their unresponsiveness.

Ho cercado di cancellarmi per poi ri registrarmi ma mi chiede 90 giorni… possibile che non ci sia un modo per usare subito labbonamento family? chi devo contattare per poter risolvere il problema?

Hey fellow Strava users! I'm reaching out because I was recently charged for a subscription I didn't authorize. I've contacted Strava support and GCash, but I'm still waiting for a resolution. I'm hoping to get a refund ASAP. Has anyone else experienced this issue? Any advice on how to get a refund quickly would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance for your help!

I am using free Strava on Iphone.As of this week, there is live speed instead of average speed when cycling.  This is useless. Can it be changed back to average speed?

Hi, is it possible to use manual mode when plotting a route in the iPhone app like you can using the website?  

I see a bunch of posts regarding the power differences between Garmin (coming from a Power Meter) and Strava.  As the nerd in the group i am usually call on to help other with their tech.  On my setup, what comes out on the Garmin exactly matches what is displayed on Strava.  For the rest of our group, the difference is large, Strava is always 30 watts or more less.  So I don’t really buy this theory about handling the zero’s becuase we all ride together.  Does anyboy have any real reason why for my setup everything matches, and for others it doesn’t?  The only thing i could think of would be power meter drop outs?  But with four or five guys in the group having the same problem other than me, this doesn’t make sense.Any thoughts? 

I use a Garmin Forerunner 165 to record and sync activities with Strava (Android). Recently, when I do outoor rowing (crew) activities, it syncs with stats like these:In rowing, these stats are super irrelevant and unhelpful, with workouts measured in meters and splits (/500m) like below:Has anyone faced the same issue? Is there a way to manually highlight / select / force certain statistics to show via Garmin or via Strava? Having my row data in Strava went from super useful to super irrelevant overnight with no fix. Thanks.

It appears that there’s been a recent change which applies auto-pause to kayaking, but I suspect it uses cycling parameters, which are not appropriate for kayaks (which move more slowly than bikes). I record my kayaking outings on my iPhone. In my most recent kayak outings, Strava auto-pauses almost immediately and then never unpauses. I’ve used Strava for years and this never happened until now.My settings: I have auto pause enabled for cycling, but turned off for running. There doesn’t seem to be a way to control auto-pause for other sports. 

I am trying to create a route on desktop (windows 64bit, Chrome) and the map is just blank and I cannot interact. Bug? 

I was running a segment До Синия вир with the goal of a crown and in the end the segment is not visible in the activity. I pushed myself and gave it my all. We were running together with my husband Пейо Христов, who was pacing me, and we finished with almost the same time, he finished seconds ahead of me. On his activity the segment До Синия вир is visible, but on mine it is not. The segment Синия вир последна част and the segment Синия вир спускане 1 част are part of the segment До Синия вир. There is no way they are included in the activity, but the segment До Синия вир is not included. This disappoints me a lot, because I know how much I gave of myself.... I kindly ask you to look at my application and see that I went exactly along the segment and there is no reason why it should not be visible in my activity. I love to stay active and enjoy a range of outdoor activities like golf, walking, running, and hiking. However, I've noticed that most of the fitness platforms are more focused on running when it comes to tracking my progress. For example, even though I've covered almost 300km of hiking, the platform only displays my 80km of runs. I'm wondering if there's a way to get a more accurate representation of my overall fitness activities on these platforms. Do you have any suggestions or insights on how to manage this?

I'm new to this site so apologies in advance if I'm unfamiliar with itI have regular bike and e-bikes. I want both to count towards my annual goals (time and distance). I've been Googling for whether e-bike rides count, most replies suggest they do count, but clear from my total they don't (I can simply change an activity from Ride to E-Bike ride and see the totals change for YTD).How do I get it to count everything short of calling everything a Ride (which messes up lots of other things)?

I ride MTB, E-MTB, road and trainer and the e-bike rides don't get included in my goals.Just had a look at goal setting area and all Strava need to do is include is E-Bike and E-Mountain Bike Ride in All Ride and problem solved.

Hi - Is there a way to view previous year's stats to compare with current? So for example, I might want to compare my rides over the last few years to see how many miles or climbing etc, that I've done in each year to monitor how I'm doing this year. All I can see is the current year and all time details.
