Hello fellow female runners!I had hormonal coil installed about 6 weeks ago and since then Im dragging me feet and my training effect is out of the window. Did extremely poorly on my half marathon race this weekend. I have started to wonder whether the coil might be impacting my performance. Does anyone have any experience of anything similar?  Or anyone aware of research done on the topic?thank you! 

I have a Huawei GT3 watch that I use to track my running activities. This goes to the Huawei Health app. It is disclosed that it is possible to tune with Strava. Why does Strava now put email or send login to phone as first option? We have a password already why is that the second option? Silly & a waste of time please return to allowing password as first option...Why do I need a email or text from you to login. Has been a simple task forever why change to this as the first option?

I tried a payment method for a year subscription. It looked like the payment didnt go through, as I the subscription features stayed locked on my app. After successfully paying with a different method and gaining access to the subscription features, I’ve noticed the payment using the first option DID go through. I’ve been charged twice for a yearly subscription now. How can I get reimbursed?

One of my workouts didn’t transfer from my apple watch, how do i access to where i transfer it. Sometimes when this happens it a little page pops up but it hasn’t.

The idea came when thinking about where I’ve recorded Strava runs and wanting to see that on a map just like you can use stats and hearts on google maps to tag places you’ve been and zoom out on the map and see all the places. this would be a super cool feature to have for our activities/runs where you can have a map as a base layer and then in the activities layer you can checkbox “all activities” or specific like run/swim and this would populate the map with our gps route. This can have also like a heat map sort of aspect to it to show with color the most common places you have activities recorded. 1-2 years of Strava premium for this awesome unique idea would be appreciated (: 

seriously? i cant get into contact with strava, I dont want those stupid replies, I want a refund, the email sucks ass and I wont use this platform anymore, this app sucks and customer service sucks, dont btother replying id you dont have anything useful to say

Love the ease of use of creating routes in Strava vs Gaia. According to GPX specs, routes are plans and tracks are actuals. For whatever reason, Strava’s GPX files are using the <trkpt> instead of <rtept> tags.  Is there a reason that when you create a Route in Strava it exports them as a Track in the GPX file?  Thank you!

Hi,I’ve noticed in comparing results with friends that my new Samsung Ultra watch is showing very different results-adding a little mileage and a lot of elevation. Today I ran my S32 Ultra phone with my watch-attached are the results. (both auto pause) The watch is supposed to have improved GPS. Any thoughts?cheers-Jeffattached is the ride

  3D view map preview is selected by default for all trail runs. I see it a lot in my feed because most of people who I follow are trail runners. I find that the 3D map hurts usability of Strava more than it helps. With the 2D map, just by glancing at the map preview, I often instantly know where the run was - many shapes of trails are easily recognizable. But with the 3D map a good part of the route is often obstructed by terrain like in the example below. That is because the view is always oriented south to north. So unless the activity was on a south slope or the terrain is fairly flat, the 3D map often looks quite terrible and useless to convey a good information about the activity.  I find that I often want to switch back to the normal 2D map, and that is glitchy by the way. I'm experiencing a recurring issue on the Strava mobile app (Android). When I tap into an activity—either my own or someone else's—the map sometimes fails to display. This doesn’t happen every time, but often enough to be noticeable. If I exit the activity view and re-enter, the map typically loads properly on the second attempt.Device info: Phone model: Pixel 7 Android 15 Strava app version: 409.9 Additional notes: Issue occurs on both Wi-Fi and mobile data. No error message appears; the map section is simply not shown. Slide down with finger doesn’t work. Reproducing it is inconsistent, but it happens roughly [5]% of the time. See attachments. You’ll notice the one that doesn’t show the map doesn’t have the down arrow in the top left, so it’s not available to swipe down to reveal the map.

In December I noticed I couldn’t view, edit or create routes in the broswer (I tried them all). My routes still appear on the strava app. This is one of the main reasons I pay for Strava.When I try to create a route in browser I get the following error message…“Error: Sorry, we couldn’t complete that action. Please try plotting the point again.This can occur when routing across large distances, so try plotting more frequent waypoints that are closer together.”I’ve tried to create a ticket but it is still unanswered since December - I got a few emails saying they would be slow to reply but nothing more.Am I missing something or is this just how Strava is now?

I’ve noticed that recently my activities no longer show calories burned, either on the main dashboard or within the full activity details. Instead, I’m now seeing average power displayed. I haven’t changed my recording device or settings, and this issue started suddenly. I’ve confirmed that my weight is entered in my profile, and I’m using Garmin Fenix 7s to record the activity. This issue affects all my recent trail runs.Could you please help me understand why the calorie data is missing and how I can get it back?

Had to log back in , all data lost from challenges completed, current May challenge , following and followers. Is there a way to get all back ?thankyou in advance 

Does anyone know why my pace is so different to my friends I run with? We run together or often I'm further ahead yet her pace&time is always much faster than mine. We've both updated phones & apps. I ran with another friend today and mine was slower again!

Hi, I’m using Amazfit Active Edge for recording my workout activity and sync it via Zepp to Strava. The problem is that by each time of sync, the step count data is not being synced. Currently I solved it by uploading the exported data from Zepp, but is there something I can do, for it to be able to be synced on the go along with another statistics?

I completed a 14 mile walk yesterday which has uploaded to Strava on my activity feed but didn’t go against my weekly goal or my annual goal. I wanted it to go against my annual goal as it would put me well over my expected goal for half way of the year. Can anyone advise what I can do? Thanks Sarah 

Perhaps this is user error, but if not….very confusing Ux: If I click “Run” on a different shoe, and then go back to this shoe, its unchecked. I had no idea that this checkbox was how I decide which shoe Strava chooses when I finish a run. Each gear category should have an order of preference for that piece of gear, not a “Default Sports” checkbox that puts a piece of gear at the top of the list for a given category. Anybody who uses this app enough to pay for it almost certainly has different shoes for each of these categories.  Or am missing something? 

HelloI can t find where to change the conversion  to km ? 

The options to delete or edit a route seem to be missing from all the routes on my account. It doesn’t matter if I originally created the route, or duplicated it. The age of the route also appears to have no bearing. Rides that are public appear to show an option to Embed, but are also missing the edit/delete options.

So, basically, i can't delete or edit my routes… On my browser, i don't see any option to edit or delete a route. On the “My Routes” page and in the route specific page, there's no option do edit or delete:I also can't see the famous “spanner” icon that is supposed to show when i hover my mouse over the map. On mobile (Strava 410.11 on Android 14) there is a bug where “My Routes” is just empty: Anybody have any of this bug and could solve it in some way?

Using the mobile Strava app, there is a “Stats” icon available in each club’s page that shows “Weekly stats” which includes total club miles for the week, along with the “top 10” athletes by distance, plus four more athletes further down that list, which includes me. In the web version of Strava, there is no “Stats” option, and I’m unable to view total club miles accumulated for the week. Am I missing something or is this information really not available on the web version of Strava? Thanks.
