I was wondering what the response times are at the moment. Saw a few related posts about backlogs but they were a while ago. Accidentally got someone banned so it is kind of urgent… Also have a ticket open for a different issue. One has ‘high’ priority and one has ‘normal’ prio. Does this make a difference?

Good day all I applied to become a strava developer and get access to Strava API. I received an email thanking me for my application but no formal email saying my application was successful or declined…. I do however receive emails from strava starting with “Dear Developer….” Does this mean my application was successful?

I recently did a 100km charity ride. A segment was created for the whole ride. My effort for this segment has been wrongfully excluded from my segments.  I am not sure why it has been excluded. My ride data shows that my effort is correct. I has trained to be able to do this ride as fast as I can and also without stopping. My effort is not shown on the leaderboard as it has wrongfully being excluded. This is frustrating 

I am currently working on an academic project in the field of Data Science and AI/ML. The project focuses on analyzing training load and detecting overtraining using Strava activity data.Right now, the API only allows 1 athlete to be connected per application. For this research, I would like to increase the athlete limit (e.g., 20 athletes or more) since multiple participants have consented to share their activity data for this study.Is there a process or application form to request an increase in the number of athletes allowed to connect? If so, could you please guide me on how to proceed?

I forgot to disable the auto-renew feature in my strava app and it deducted an annual membership's worth of money in my e-wallet. I need the money to pay bills and I need a refund. I already submitted my ticket and emailed them at their support email but they have yet to give me an update regarding this case. Please can someone help? 

I have retrieved a number of streams from /activities/{id}/streams, including distance and time for an activity. The moving duration of the activity is 680 seconds and the total elapsed time is 719 as per the strava dashboard.Each of the streams have 685 samples, but I cannot figure out how to interpret the time stream. It has 685 samples, with the first value being zero and the last value being 954. I cannot understand where the 954 comes from.Is there any documentation on how to interpret the data. I would like to be able to say, for a specific number of seconds after start time what the distance was, but without being able to reconcile these values I am very unclear on how to do that. Any help, really appreciated  

When I request ActivityStreams for an activity and specify series_type=time it DOES return a time series… the time stream is monotonically increasing and the distance stream is not uniform.  HOWEVER for every stream returned it’s labeled as “distance”.  I’ve had to patch my code to deal with this as I always check series_type to make sure I’m getting appropriate data for the processing I do.  Thoughts?   Do you have a github or somewhere else that someone monitors?

I notice if I add an ampersand (&) or sometimes less than/greater than signs (< and >) to the name of my activity when uploading a gpx file via the API, I will get back the error below, even though the same exact gpx file uploads fine with another activity name. Since today I wasn't able to share my activities to my instagram story. It only allows me to share the link of thr activity.

We are in the process of migrating our staging/test application to a new account and would like to increase its athlete capacity.Our production app was reviewed some time ago and is functioning as expected. Additionally, the previous staging/test applications were also reviewed and granted increased athlete capacity (999).According to the documentation, we're advised not to submit the review form for staging or test apps, which makes the process unclear—especially since the production app has already been reviewed.Could you please clarify how we can increase the athlete capacity for the new staging app under these circumstances?

Hi All..  I am in the early stages of creating an app to use the Strava API - I’ve got a development background so don’t see any technical issues from the API documentation.The App will NOT show a user any other user’s data apart from their own.  It will do some analysis on each activity detail (not AI or machine learning) and give some feedback - for example: “that ride/segment was particularly fast as there was hurricane speed winds behind you which gave you a PB”However, Strava’s API agreement states:No Strava Data shall remain in your cache longer than seven days. If your Developer Applications check for a resource (e.g., a segment) and that resource is no longer available from Strava, you shall remove it from your cache immediately regardless of how frequently you refresh your cache. I’m encountering an issue with the paging parameter at the endpoint for listing club activities.I am currently running a sports challenge that uses Strava clubs to track participants' activities. To limit the activities, I retrieve all activities using the after parameter. Today, I had more than 200 activities. When I requested the activities using the page parameter set to 2, I always received the same result. It doesn’t matter if I send page=2, page=3, or another value—I always get the same data. Why?Thanks!

I use a Fenix 6S and upload activities to Strava with an Android phone.When I save an outdoor row without making any edits it saves correctly showing the pace/500m BUT as soon as I make any changes for instance to the title of the activity it switches to show Time, Distance and Calories instead which is really frustrating as it’s useless information.  I think this is part of an earlier bug with QE where it was saving the row as ‘workout’.My friend uses an iPhone and does not have this problem  as the screen shot below shows.   Links to activities are below the screenshot. https://www.strava.com/activities/15855718821   Incorrect data displayed

I recently had my athlete capacity increase request approved.At first time, the athletes allows is 999.Currently, I have 989 connected athletes.I emailed the Strava team to request a higher limit and was advised to submit a new request.After submitting again, the request was approved — but the capacity still shows only 999 athletes.Could someone from Strava please confirm if this is expected behavior? If a full increase is not possible right now, would it at least be possible to raise the limit slightly (for example, beyond 999) so our users are not blocked?

I have built and tested an app to monitor rowing performance data for my club. However, the app is limited to 1 athlete (i.e. me as. the test subject). I can’t find a link/button which would let me apply for “production status” for my app so that multiple users can use it. Any ideas?

For some reason for most of the day I cant publish in any clubs. When I tap publish it doesn't even let what I wrote publish. It's a weird and frustrating glitch that you guys could look into please and thank you

So after following 70 people by accident back to back strava won't let me follow anyone anymore everytime I tap follow it says an error encounterd with the strava servers. And the weird thing it i only had a total of 123 following people. Can you please respond and tell me how to fix this it's been going on for nearly 2 days were I corn follow and one please and thank you.

I’m building a personal comment automation tool using the Strava API.The app is for personal use only, designed to automatically post my own annual mileage data as a comment on my activities. I have confirmed that my access token includes “ [scope] => read,activity:write,activity:read_all,profile:write,profile:read_all,read_all”, and I am attempting to post a short comment to my own activity using the endpoint:`POST /api/v3/activities/{activity_id}/comments` However, I consistently receive a `401 Authorization Error`, and the response does not include any explanation or error details. Could anyone confirm whether comment posting via API is allowed for my app, or if there are any restrictions I should be aware of?

Hi,I´m using `${STRAVA_API_URL}/clubs/${clubId}/group_events` where const STRAVA_API_URL = "https://www.strava.com/api/v3";It seems that the id of some of the club events is obfuscated and the last digits are replaced with zeroes, so that e.g. 3393591506183906380 becomes 3393591506183906300 in the result JSON.Why is this error introduced? 

I am trying to make a personal widget that shows my latest activity in the way that strava does in the feed. I am almost there now but I just can’t get the map to show the route line and I believe this is an issue with the polyline summary. We have reached the 999 Athlete limit and have tried contacting support, resubmitting the app for verification, and we have not heard back on how to increase these limits.Is there a separate contact form or method to get this number increased? I have sent mail and filled forms still no response from Strava 

 HiI'm building a system for myself and a group of users. I'm trying to get the info from Strava and send it to Health Connect (Google) and HealthKit (Apple Health), lets call them HealthApps refering to both of them. All activities are Public. But I'm having some problems: 1. Rouvy and many others didn't send data to Health Connect. So I plan to send example from Rouvy to Strava, then from Strava to Google Fit, then Google Fit to Health Connect. But from Strava it breaks and didn't get sended to Google Fit (which is active as "Other Services").First I suspect it was because it was created by a 3th party app. Then I create an activity direcrly from Strava and again it never gets to Google Fit.As a proof other direct activities from Garmin went out to Google Health and to Google Fit correct. So problem is not in Google Fit.I need to solve it. Please help me, I need to send ALL activities that start or not in Strava... 2.

I don’t see any endpoint, but it can’t hurt to ask: is there an API method to add a comment (not changing the description) to an activity?
