Hello,I am the developer of an Apple Watch workout app which exports data to Strava with FIT files and Strava API.Is there a way to display the Apple Watch device model in Strava like for other watches ?I suppose I have to use some specific Manufacturer and DeviceID in my FIT file, but I don’t know what to use for an Apple Watch app to be recognized by Strava API

Currently i have an application integrated with Strava. However, the access token I’m using has expired, and I can no longer retrieve the latest activity data from Strava. What should I do to ensure my application remains connected to Strava?

I'm currently working on integrating my climbing app with Strava, and I've hit a bit of a roadblock. When I manually create an activity on Strava through the browser, I have the option to enter the elevation. However, when I try to do the same thing programmatically using the createActivity API, I can't seem to find an option to specify the elevation.This is crucial for my climbing app's functionality, and without it, integrating with Strava is kind of pointless. Can anyone shed some light on what I might be missing here? Any help or insights would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

So with app devs getting caught in the Strava vs Garmin saga, can you at least swiftly add the device_name parameter to the /athlete/activities list?This way we won’t need to make additional API calls to the /activities endpoint just to check every single activity’s device…<sigh> 

New problem, or return of an old problem? The app won't even open now and I receive an error message about a glitch... it tells me to wait and reinstall the app once Strava fixes the glitch. When can we expect normal function again?

I'm a software engineer interested in developing applications using the Strava API. I've reviewed the API terms and I understand that developing features already in Strava is not allowed. If I were to invest time in developing an application and some of those features were later incorporated into Strava, would Strava consider this an API terms violation?  Have other developers experienced anything like this?Thank you

Hello,I try to identify what is the “external provider” of activities.We have a field called external_id, but it can contain a “.tcx” file name.I can identify the Garmin activities because the external_id starts with : “garmin_ping_xxx”But for other providers like Polar or Fitbit we only have a TCX filename.How to get the real external provider name ? I'm using Python to return the "explore segments" query and would like to know how the top-10 segments are chosen.For example, in the Developers Playground it says that the GET explore segments, "returns the top 10 segments matching a specified query". How is "top-10" defined? Is it using the most popular segments in the geography boundary to search or some other designation?How can I view all and not just the top-10 segments?Also am I able to search for a segment using the detail that gets returned in the query instead i.e., distance, avg. grade, elevation gain, etc.? The query is very limited when just being able to search based on "the latitude and longitude for two points describing a rectangular boundary" and the "activity type" especially when I'm searching for a run segment so the climbing category is not relevant.Thanks!

My run activity is stuck on processing activity i already restarted my phone, uninstall and install the app, i have log out and log in many times but still stuck on processing activity pleas help me

Currently, my personal Strava account is tied to the Developer API Application that I'm using for a running app I helped develop. I want to transfer this to a new developer taking over for me. How can I do this? I just emailed support.

I submitted a request for activation of more athletes and it was approved (increased number of allowed athletes to 999). And now I still get:  

I did a park run this morning.It should be my 2nd fastest 5k.The distance registered as 4.95km to start with, and then the "correct distance" option only increased it by 1 metre.I know it will seem silly to some, but this is my best run in months and I'm frustrated it has not registered as 5km, and feel there should be a way around this.I get that strava want to avoid people cheating, but this was a park run. 90 other people recorded it at the same time as me. Is there no way AI could identify it as a park run, and I could be allowed to adjust distance to 5km?I don't think I'm the only one to be frustrated in similar situations.
