Similar issue, I cannot add emoticons to my strva posts anylonger. When opening google play, I cannot update strava or google chrome either (I assume because it is already the most recent version). What do I miss/should I do?

It sounds like the emoji keyboard may have been disabled on your device. The emoji keyboard is a setting which is not controlled by the Strava app but instead lives in the operating system settings on your phone.

Can you confirm whether you have the emoji keyboard enabled on your device? You can tap on the settings icon when the keyboard is displayed on screen to check whether the emoji options are disabled.

Currently, I am unable to reproduce this issue. When I edit an activity, my keyboard allows me to open the emoji's keyboard and add them to my activity title or description.

Hey @Hargio,

Can you describe where are you trying to add these icons?
On the Activity Description? Activity Title? etc.

Late reply, but it's both in the title and the description. Basically the keyboard that is shown (when writing the title/description) does not have an emoticon option anymore when typing. Hope you know what to do, makes the updates a bit more fun.

Thanks Charles, I looked into that earlier, but just finally found it, indeed keyboard settings. Not sure how it got disabled, but anyway, problem solved!

Thanks for your help!
