Workout logged incorrectly

Forum|alt.badge.img+3

Hi. This is my first post ... go easy on me lol

I did a 1h 23m workout this morning. Tracked it using my Samsung Galaxy 5 Watch ... but it only logged as 1m 33s

When checking on the watch there are not unsynced activates.

How can I correct and log the full workout and as 2nd prize at least update the workout time?

Thank you

Hello @yatishmadhav

Thanks for posting and I'm sorry to hear that happened.  There isn't a way to edit the time on a recorded workout.  The best workaround is to delete the erroneous recording and add the workout manually:

Please follow these steps to upload a manual activity:

Using our website:

1. Log into your Strava account at www.strava.com

2. Hover over the orange plus sign at the top right corner of the page

3. Click on "Add manual entry"

4. Select the activity "Sport Type" and fill out the fields listed

5. Click "Create" to complete your upload

Using the Android app:

1. Go to the Feed screen

2. Click the "+" button in the bottom-right

Directions can also be found in our help center article: Uploading Manual Activities

I hope that's helpful and thanks again for your post.

Thank you @Jane11 - I was afraid that was going to be the response. Yes, I did do that last week. What I was hoping to keep and track is things like the heart rate, exact hours, etc. Thank you though for the instructions

When you set your watch for a workout do you start it on the samsung app and also the strava app?

I have always done this and last week it has changed and won't let me have both running at the same time. If I start one app then the other the first app ends the workout. Very annoying! I have the samsung watch 6

@Jemma I only start it on the Strava app. Haven't really bothered with the Samsung Health app 🙂

That does seem annoying. It would be great if starting/ending one automatically does the same on the other ...
