Activity Feed

Hi. Suddenly I can't see any more data appear in my Activity Feed. Anyone have any idea how I can get this information back again?  In my Settings page, I have the button set to "Everyone", under the Privacy Controls for Activities, but nothing appears to happen. I am at a loss  as to what to do, and the Help facility within Strava is hopeless!!!

Hey @PEP,
Thanks for your post. Can you try our initial troubleshooting step of deleting and reinstalling the Strava app? Our recommended instructions are below:

1. Delete the Strava application from your phone
2. Power your device off for 10 seconds
3. Turn your phone back on
4. Reinstall the Strava application

Note: You will not lose any data if you do this since all data is stored on the Strava servers.

Apple App Store:

Thanks.  Actually, I access Strava on my iPhone, my iPad and my laptop.  I logged out of all of them, and rebooted my laptop - (as it was only the laptop that was not displaying my Activity Feed).

After the laptop reboot (and also re-logging into the Apps on the iPhone and iPad), I could see that there was still no Activity Feed data displayed on the laptop.  I noticed that there were 5 new notifications indicated by the 'notification bell' along the top of the laptop display, so I clicked on that.  That opened up the last notification and the activity which that related to appeared on the Activity Feed.  Thereafter, other activities could be viewed.

So it would appear that I have to click on the 'notifications' in order to reinstate the Activity Feed data.  That was a new one on me, and this doesn't occur on the iPhone or the iPad, so it is something I will have to remember for the next time the Activity Feed page stays blank on my laptop!

Hopefully, the issue is (sort of) resolved now - thanks.

This happened to me in chrome on mac in the last week or three, I resolved it by deleting the cookies for strava.com in chrome's settings.  In safari, which it sounds like you might be using that's

Settings -> Privacy -> Manage Website Data

in Chrome it's this ludicrous amount of clicking ( maybe there's a better way to get there )

Three dot menu on the right -> Settings -> Privacy and Security -> Site Settings -> View permissions and data stored across sites

I have the same problem since about a month. On my PC (Chrome). On the android app it works well. The problem started with the latest bombardment of messages to try to sell me a paid membership. Then I only saw the advertisement, Nowadays I get an empty screen if I click on 'activity feed'. All other submenus work).

Actually, I was wrong. It was only the one notification that came up in my Activity Feed. So it was only showing me the 'activity' of that one notification I clicked on.  When I then tried to click on Activity Feed again, the page was blank again!!!  Out of desperation I tried a different browser to Outlook.  I called up the Strava app on Google Chrome, and hey presto!  It worked!!

So the answer appears to be related to the browser being used!

Hope that helps!

I Always use Google Chrome and there the problem remains.

I can't see Activity Feed on my desk top. If I hit Training and My Activities I get all my rides but no one else. What is going on?
