Group Activities: Doesn't work, despite correct Privacy setting

I ride with groups 2-3 times a week. All the other riders' Strava accounts show the Group Activity ("Rider X rode with Rider Y and Rider Z" etc), but I don't show up in their rides and they don't show up on mine. My Privacy Setting in Group Activities in my settings is set to "Everyone."

What's the problem? I've tried asking support, and they just say "Make sure your setting is set to 'everyone'", which it already is.
So annoying!!

What’s the solution? I admin a run group but my activity never is added to the group I created. Whats the fix?
