Hey @Tom-B
Thanks for the post. There may be a few different reasons why you are not seeing a map included in your activity, can you please check the following:

Uploaded as Indoor Activity
Double check that your activity has not uploaded as an indoor activity. You can untag/remove "Treadmill" or "Indoor" and hit save (please note that you will need to follow these steps on Strava.com, not in the Strava mobile app):

  1. Go to the activity in question
  2. Select Edit (pencil icon)
  3. Unselect "Treadmill OR Indoor Cycling" - green means it is activity, grey means it is turned off and unselected (grey = good to go)
  4. Save & View Activity

Here is more information about Indoor Activities. Please check your device to ensure you are recording an outside activity with a GPS signal. If you continue having issues, please reach out to the device manufacturer.

Map Visibility Settings
If your entire activity is taking place within the defined radius around a hidden address, the map will be hidden. If you are walking, running, or riding within a small area of your home or office this is probably the case.

Alternatively, the 'Hide Entire Map' setting may have been enabled on the activity. To confirm whether this is the case, navigate to the activity on Strava.com or the Strava mobile app and choose the option to 'Edit Map Visibility'. From the following Edit Map Visibility screen, look for the 'Hide Entire Map' option and disable it if you wish to reveal the map.
