Thanks for your post. It sounds like you are not seeing your rankings on the leaderboard. Depending on the activity, it can take a while for all achievements and leaderboards to update. You can check our status page for any known delays: https://status.strava.com/ or https://status.strava.com/history.

Here are steps to troubleshoot any issues:

1. Ensure the segment in question does not start or end within a hidden portion of your activity. The first and last 200 meters of your activity maps will be hidden by default. If you wish to change your default preference check out the support article: Edit Map Visibility.  If a segment attempt ends or begins in an area hidden by your map visibility settings, the effort will not be placed on overall/public leaderboards. You will not receive a CR, XOM, or Local Legend for these efforts. However, you will still be eligible to receive personal records on these segment matches. 

2. Is your activity flagged? Please check the activity on the website (strava.com). If the activity has been flagged, it will be noted as flagged. You can request Support review directly from the activity if the activity has been flagged.

3. Ensure your activity is not marked "Only You" or "Followers Only".  You can change these settings for an individual activity on the upload or edit screen:

  • Web: Go to the Activity > Edit (pencil icon) > Privacy Controls > Select Everyone*
  • iOS/Android: Go to the Activity > Edit > Privacy Controls > Select Everyone*

4. Change your activity to Canoe > Save > wait a minute and then go back and update the activity to the correct type to force any missing achievements or segments to rerun again. This typically resolves the issue for our athletes.

5. Refresh Achievements on your Activity: More information

6. Refresh Segment Results: More Information

If you continue having problems, have performed the actions above, and have waited 24 hoursplease submit a support ticket with a direct link to an example segment and activity where you are not seeing the PR or top 10 effort along with a screenshot that shows you have completed this segment more than once.
