Currently, when I enter Strava via an app notification, I then see a notification badge / counter on the Notification Centre icon. This is actually the same notification that I’ve just clicked into, but it’s not marked as read.Ideally, this notification would be marked as read as I’ve clicked into it. It would stop me having to actively click into the Strava Notification Centre just to mark notifications as read.

Hi everyone,I'm trying to improve my times on nearby segments using Strava Live Segments, but I’m struggling to get any real value from it in my region.This might be fine in flat areas or velodromes, but as most of the people, I ride in a 3D world. In my area, it’s impossible to go anywhere without climbing or descending: 150 meters of elevation gain and loss every 10 kilometers is just a normal ride. But the real issue isn't the hills themselves. Live Segments could still be useful on a long, steady climb or descent. The problem is the alternation between flat, climbing, and descending sections, which makes pacing truly important, and the feature almost useless.What I really want is to pace myself realistically against my own past efforts. I don’t care how others perform on the segment; I just want a real, effort-based comparison with my own ride history. I understand that Strava might not be able to show other’s pacing or strategy data due to intellectual property rights or privacy c

Map data is not showing properly. Even I have trouble shooted with so many ways still won’t works out.on the direct route if some cuts are coming, there is small drift in the corner of the road.In other tracking app’s it is working fine. I’ve started seeing the ‘Plan your weekend ride’ carousel at the top of my feed. Does anyone know how to switch this off? It’s showing me rides that are miles away from my location. 

The Flyover thing is kinda nice, but as I play through  an activity the frame rate progressively degrades on my iPhone 15. I'm catching flack from Motorcyclists when I ask them to (please) not use the E-bike Category to record their rides. When I look at segments and totals for my ride they are blown out by motorcyclists results. How are we supposed to compare like categories when users are in the wrong category. As an Enduro Race Timer by trade, I fully understand the difference between all of the different users, categories and the abilities of each. The general response to my requests has been that Ebikes ARE Motorcycles. I can't even begin to explain all of the reasons Ebikes do not equal a Moto.  All I'm asking is that the Moto riders out there find and use an appropriate app for recording Moto Sports. Sure, STRAVA, add it in PLEASE! EMTB'ers just want an equal playing field.  

I read in ... that there was a "known issue" with Android maps, but seriously, is this still going on? Or have I missed an update? If I click in to the map on a "longer" activity, all I see is a white background. My 30km ride the other day is fine, but the 600km audax I rode this weekend just doesn't show the map.Come on Strava, fix it please! Not much point paying for the features if they don't work!

Gostaria de solicitar que no strava tenha um parametro que eu consiga sincronizar as etapas dos meus treinos seja de corrida ou ciclismo .por exemplo em uma corrida no garmin onde monto meu treinovem as etapasaquecimentotirodescansocorrida levee tal….a solicitação seria que ao parametrizar e eu efetuar o treinamento no fim da atividade o strava colocasse as etapas feitas na descrição da minha atividade, com isso eu teria um controle melhor do que eu fiz no treino quando for analizar.vi que recentemente tentou ser feito isso mas teve alguns usuarios que vendem treino e planilha que nao gostaram, por isso sugiro que seja criado um parametro e quem quiser utilizar a ferramente que faça uso

Would it be possible to use the heart rate sensor from an Apple Watch to sync with a ride recorded on the Strava iPhone app? 

Hi all, Reported this to Strava a couple of weeks ago and had no response… so thought I’d try here. Recently, when I record a Weight Training or Workout activity using my Apple Watch, during the session Strava will close randomly and sometimes restart the timer back to the beginning or at least knock a few minutes off. However, when I save the session, most of the time it records the full session (other times knocks a few minutes off). Anyone else experiencing this issue?  UPDATE FROM STRAVA:Hello all! We’re happy to share that this issue has now been resolved in the latest app update. Hi Strava community,I am pretty new to running, only starting in April of this year. I have made many silly mistakes so far, but the biggest (tracking wise) has been using the Run-GPS when using a treadmill. I did this for about 2 weeks before realizing the impact it had. I’d like these runs to not count towards my PBs/PRs but still be in my activity feed/overall totals. I have seen a few options from my searches such as flagging them, or changing them to ‘workouts’ instead of ‘runs’, but I’m concerned it would mess with my numbers. So, please let me know what would be the best course to keep my mileage and number of runs, but exclude these from my personal bests.Thanks so much!

Is there a way to turn off personal records, and suggested challenges, and all the other automatic junk I don’t care about in Strava? Yes, I get that all that is important to a lot of people. But I’m not trying to be a super athlete. All I care about is recording my track and heart rate.

Does anyone have the problem with map visibility in app? When I zoom out, the map is looking like in the fog and cannot see whole activity on the map 

Has anyone else run into this issue? It appears videos on run/bike activities (anything with a map) are showing up in feed as squares suddenly? If you click into the activity, you can still see the whole 9:16 video, but the preview in the feed seems to be cropping them to squares, which is really annoying.This was not the case a couple months ago. Not sure if the change is intentional or a bug. Thanks for the thoughts/help!Matt

Hello. I wonder if anyone else has successfully had their profile restored? Or had the same issue? I changed phone handsets (iPhone 11 to 16 pro) and around the same time had a temporary network issue. My apps including Strava had all transferred over, I’d connected my Garmin watch to my new handset, and synced the Garmin and Strava apps on my new phone. The network issue was sorted, my old phone traded in and wiped, went back into Strava on my new phone- and my profile is now gone. Same login, but no profile photo, no activities, following no one, no photos- but randomly 5 followers. Nothing else. Have contacted Strava who send automated replies with links to suggestions such as restoring deleted activities. There are none to restore- no suggestions work. I would really like my entire profile including all my contacts (65 or so). Is it fixable? Can Strava restore my profile in full from their server? Are there any other solutions. Hi have been fitbit/strava user for years, my walks are not syncing into strava (runs and biking are ok) I'm sure its just a box I tick but can't find anything. I've reset connection and logged in and out etc, anybody got any ideas please ? Thanks 

Hello,I know there are various third-party tools that use Strava API data for gathering information for crowns/CRs. However, I would like to gather information on a number of Local Legends for segments that are local to me. I have two questions:a) Are there any APIs available that include Local Legend data? I did a web search and found several references indicating that Local Legend data is not included in APIs, even though crown/CR data is in the APIs.b) If I use a web scraping tool to gather the Local Legend information from approximately 200 segments, would this violate any terms of my user agreement? Once again, I know that there are tools that exist to scrape this data for crowns/CRs, but I don't know if the same open policy applies to Local Legends data.Thank you!Dennis

Issue:While creating club events for the next few weeks of runs, I noticed that I can no longer access all of my Routes from the dropdown menu in the “Create a Club Event” window. It appears to show only the most recent ~20 routes. This is a new bug since at most 6 weeks ago, as that was the last time I queued-up a bunch of runs for my club (and I didn’t have this problem when I made those club events). Useful info:-This happens in desktop mode, not in the app (I use Android).-As a temporary workaround, I am making my events in desktop mode and then editing them in the app to include the correct Route, but this takes about double the time that it normally would and can become frustrating.-I went through all of my routes and “starred” only the ones I use for my club, hoping that the dropdown menu would use only the “starred” routes. But that did not seem to solve the problem. Bonus Suggestion:Is there a way to make the “Route” field have a search function (keyword search for all routes

Hi Strava Team,I've been experiencing this issue for quite a while and finally decided to reach out.My home feed only ever shows about 150–180 of the most recent activities, rather than allowing for true infinite scroll. As a result, I often miss my friends' updates if I don’t check Strava multiple times a day. I follow around 470 people, all real-life friends and many of them active athletes. Recently I've stopped following new friends just to keep my feed manageable.Is this feed limitation intentional? If so, it feels like a barrier for users like me who value Strava as a social platform for staying connected through activity. I’d love to hear your thoughts. Thanks. 

Ive been looking at lots of running leaderboards on local segments, and finding that most of them have the number 1 (or sometimes multiple) spots taken up by activities that are obviously not legitimate. For example: person is on a train, person is driving, person is cycling (on an activity labelled as running). The main giveaway is when they are running sub 2min km over the segment. It detracts the achievement of those who have really put in the effort for a quick time.Is there a way to report these activities? I cant seem to find one and if not, I think it would be a useful feature. Thanks

I was injured and had to take 12 weeks out away from running and I was doing plenty of walks and I resumed my running on the 19th of April and the first tab is still showing walking and it's very frustrating and really annoying me because running used to be the first tab so this week is my 12th week of running so I hope next week it goes back to showing running as the first tab and not walking because I will be very annoyed.
