Hi, I have an old friend that i have a concern about. Her activity numbers on the desktop home page have remained unchanged for an extended time. Her setting is private. 

Does this necessarily mean she no longer using strava? thanks for any help?

No. It just means that her activities are private. Showing any details about the activities would breach that privacy - and would give stalkers a way to watch their victims. It's a good thing that Strava doesn't enable this...
