Hi allIs there a way i can start a run on my watch but also run another app - in this case its echo heart rate app so i can log the run with strava but just have the echo heart rate zone on screen. When i try i get the workout interuppted message   thanks in advance

Hey All, First post to this group.  Does anyone know if Strava groups us into age cohorts using our actually calendar birthdate, or does it use the more common "racing age" of 12/31 of the year of our birth?  Thanks.

During my last activity, I set a PR for both the 1/2 mile and the 1k, as well as a setting my second fastest time for 1 mile. The headline underneath the activity says “Congrats! You have just set your second fastest time in the 1 mile” - can I change this headline to reference my 1k PR instead?

So I'm checking the strava segement for Hiline climb in Sedona called Orifice .. Today feb 17 2024 there were 21 athlete, and I wanted to see the pictures so I can see if there snow for example on the trail.. after I open 21 activities, then appx on 25th opening their strava route not showing up. So then I wanna check out High on the hog segment, 1st one Aidan Woloszyn activity id https://www.strava.com/activities/10783567934#3194096772199695562  I'm clicking  to open this activity but all I get is a blank map and rotating circle instead of segments - it looks like this:  It looks like you limiting out ability to view more then 25 activities?? I recently added a new trail in a local park to OpenStreetMap - the path shows up in the route builder, however, when trying to make a route including it, the router completely bypasses it.    

It would be nice to have non-run/non-cycle events for clubs. I have used club events to help organize swim meets, social dinners, and would like to use them for swim/rowing practice / regattas and more. Having more events would help keep people coming back to strava.

I’ve logged out of both Apps then back in, switched the iWatch and phone off then back on. However I still can’t get them to Sync. Anyone able to help? Many thanks, Marc      

Why on my Strava i have bad tracking when on Sports Tracker using the same time everything is ok. Any sugestions ?

I've been running a lot recently with my partner as part of a new year's health kick. I run with a Garmin Instinct Solar whereas she just tracks using the Strava app on her iPhone. We come out with different results every time and, whilst I would expect my watch to be more accurate than the standard iPhone GPS, I'm not always 100% convinced based on the map etc.Whilst the differences in timing etc do not make much of a difference to me as I am not a serious runner, she has targets in mind as she is training for a half marathon later this year and feels it might be hampering her as she is worried she will not be running at the required pace for her target time based on her training. What do you think we should do to judge the most accurate stats for our runs?

Aloha from Hawaii! I am a passionate Strava route creator and would love to see a private file system added to the “My Routes” feature of Strava web and mobile. It would simply all subfolders in “My Routes” and allow you to name and assign routes built to a folder for organization. It’s not like I have hundreds of routes (yet) but I’d love to group them by relatedness for ease of access. For a user story example: I am a trail runner here in Hawaii and there are a lot of undesignated trails that require me to build routes using manual mode. Route builder has all the tools I need to make a great route but for some particular mountains here, I make several routes that split one long trek into smaller routes for more reasonable efforts. There are about 8 total sections to this group of routes. As someone who builds plenty of bike, road, and trail routes I’d find it extremely efficient to be able to sort these routes into folders based on categories I privately label. If I eve

I've installed the Fatmap app and logged in via Strava but none of my past activities show up. When I'm on the "My Adventures" page it says I can connect a tracker to get my Strava data but when I click through I only get options to connect Garmin, Suunto and LifePass, no Strava.Any suggestions or ideas on how to get it to work?

Hi, if possible, I would like to understand how many km I have done since I fitted my new tyres. I would like to have a filter for dates from — to so as to have a report of the total km done, altitude difference done and time taken. Thank you.

I'm now a 55 year old runner. All my previous runs were in the category lower. So all my runs are no longer showing up in the 50-55 category (as I'm no longer in that age bracket)Only my current runs show up ....what about all the others when I was younger...is it possible to set the filter to show my runs from the previous categories over all the years of running....eg my runs as a 44 year old should be shown in that group..... Or am I missing something in the settings of the app

So I have been a subscriber for over 10 years and I got my email from Strava this announcing an inflation busting pricing increase. The justification that the price has largely remained unchanged (well only if 100% increase over the years counts as unchanged) and that the increase is justified because of all the new features (and lets be honest when was the last time they launched a game changing new feature? 3D Maps? hmm I would probably not notice if that was dropped)So what does the community think? Are Strava are abusing its monopoly position and profiteering? Are we going to suck it up? I have been a premium subscriber for over 10 years and the only time they put a foot wrong before was when they changed the feed - but I now see that pure greed is clearly their mission rather than inspiring and connecting athletes around the world.Thoughts?

Using a Wahoo Tickr...the HR works fine but the transfer from Zwift to Strava strips the HR (but it still transfers to Garmin connect ok).  Any ideas on why HR won't show for trainer rides on strava?  Outdoor rides are no issue

Hi @ All,I can't find a solution to my problem.When I start a Strava workout on the iPhone, I want it to be displayed on the Apple Watch at the same time.If I start the app on the watch afterwards, it does not synchronize the current live workout. It doesn't work the other way around either. Is this simply not possible or is there a missing setting? Thanks for your ideas.

Hi, i have problems with my strava on PC/Web.. it always fails to display the page perfectly in the last 5 days, I've tried using chrome, incognito, and firefox all of them can't display it. One of the info on the page says: "It looks like you're using a browser that Strava no longer supports." I've checked my chrome version, it's the latest version.is there anyone who can help me?

Hello, I am asking this specifically for a Garmin Etrex 32x device which is not supported by garmin connect and is not able to sync with phone, the only way to upload its tracks is to manually upload gpx file.From what I understand, device_name will show up in the activity page, only if it came from connected app (like garmin connect et al) Would it be possible if it showed on the activities where track was uploaded manually? gpx tracks usually contain creator xml tag for device that produced them. Or maybe there is a list of known devices from manufacturer's sync apps that are used, then again strava does not know etrex devices 🙂 I know it's old and unpopular gizmo, but it is really robust for all outdoor activities and would be nice if strava honored its device name from gpx xml. example tag from gpx <gpx xmlns="http://www.topografix.com/GPX/1/1" xmlns:

I have various Elliptical runs registered on strava that mess up my normal running PB's. How can I remove these from the running PB's without deleting the activity? I already made them private, but that did not do the trick. 

I have looked all over and still can't figure this out. I created a segment, made it public, and would like to share this with friends. How do I do this?? I'd like to send them a link but don't see how I can do this.

Hi.I started riding on Strava seriously this week after getting some upgrades for my bike, and I was surprised i managed to nab some KOMs. They weren't impressive, but I was happy. Only issues - they were both from the same guy, and everytime I beat one of those KOMs I get instantly flagged a few minutes our hours later. I have three activities which have been flagged so far, and a support ticket (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/requests/2818445). I really need assistance as this abuse of the system has been ruining my experience. Can you help prioritize the ticket or is there anything else I can do to prevent situations like these?
