Hi, since a couple of months you can sync power meters on the bike to iOS eg Apple Watch. I’m planning to buy power meter pedals and record my power via the Apple Fitness app. Does Strava auto import the power and cadence data once the cycling workout is finished? I read in the DC rainmaker review that this wasn’t the case in July 2023 during the beta runs. for the curious; I’m not planning to get a bike computer as I see my phone as a better all rounder for the things I’m doing on a bike.

I was trying to upload my 10 mile run from my Apple Watch like normal (importing it) and it just got stuck at "processing activity". I left it overnight and it just disappeared but didn't process. I don't know how to make the run show up on my feed. 

Hi all, I have a Samsung S21 Ultra and a Samsung Glaaxy Watch 5 Pro. I'm trying to understand when Strava should be capturing my heart rate info when tracking a run.Tracking via Galaxy Watch 5 Pro ⌚️ : when I trigger my excercise recording via the Strava app on my watch, I seem to get heart rate data just fine - the problem I have right now though is that anything I track on my watch isn't visible on the Strava mobile app - apparently this is a know bug? Most of the time when I use Strava for outdoor rowing, only say the first 10 minutes or less of a recording is saved. I've checked every setting I can think of, but whatever I do, tracking my rowing stops. Geolocations are recorded is very accurate, as long as it lasts. I have the problem that my segments and heartrate are suddenly not showing on my PC even though they do on my Apple iPhone, iPad and Apple Watch 7 (which I use to record my activities). My PC shows the overall route, time, weather etc but I see a blue circle on heartrate and segments whenever I try to enter the Analysis on the PC. I can see these completely on the Apple appliances. This problem started about two weeks ago.I have reinstalled Strava on all my Apple Appliances without luck. My date of birth is correctly entered. iOS on all devices is up to date, as is Windows on my PC.My guess is that the PC is somehow not allowed to access all data, but it is a guess. Can you help, please.Also, as a note, this post seems to show I am located on Mt Kenya, which is sadly not the case. No clue if this is related.

Hello,I had a marathon today and finished the activity on Apple Watch. As it couldn’t be synced immediately I later choose the unsynched one and clicked there to sync. So watch is saying 0 synched ones. But it doesn’t come up on Strava. Checked all settings and usually it goes automatically and what I don’t track with Strava is imported automatically.Health is showing calories and time correct.any idea? Yes, restart done, my activity on Strava iPhone refreshed several times, nothing. I also tested with a new activity and it went through without issues.Thanks

so far I have used NRC. For 2-3 years, so there is plenty of data in it. I would like to import the data into strava, it doesn't show an error, but I can't see the data there. What could be the problem?

I tried recording Rock Climbs on my Apple Watch, however it only records time and heart rate. So, no GPS data, no Elevation gain. Is this a specific limitation of the Apple Watch app? To overcome this I record the climb as a Hike, then change it to Rock Climb afterwards on iPhone/Web. But it would be preferable to record direct as Rock Climb 🧗‍♀️ 

Two times already strava synched a crazy high distance (>21'000 km) from a HIIT activity from Garmin connect. First it should note even show distance for HIIT activities, and Garmin for sure has no distance logged. And I cannot correct it in Strava. How to fix it? Here the screenshot:   Thanks  Dom

UPDATE FROM STRAVA: The issue with Peloton activities not syncing to Strava from the Peloton Bike, Bike+, Tread and Rower has now been resolved.  If you still have activities that have not synced, please try re-sycning them by following these steps:  Go into your workout history on the Peloton bike/tread/rower tablet Click on a prior activity >> click the share button If you're still having difficulties after that, please submit a support ticket and we will investigate further.  We apologise for this issue and again, sincere thanks to all for your patience. Yesterday did 5mi hike, recorded fine as far as could tell, looked OK at end of hike, saved.  Never appeared anywhere. Force restarted apps on watch and phone. Nothing.  Have had this happen a handful of times now.  Last time the recording appeared like a day later.  Saw some older support entry saying "if there are not enough data points blah blah" but this was 3hrs of data points.  Have used Apple Watch and iPhone w/ Strava EXTENSIVELY for years, this is a recent phenomenon.  FWIW the one thing I can think maybe is that cell signal has been super weak where I am when it has happened, like its really poor data connection when I was closing and saving the recording on the watch? Super frustrating tho.  

I saw in the status page at 11am US Eastern that "Uploads from Garmin are currently delayed" https://status.strava.com/ but that message went away. I have revoked and reconnected Garmin with Strava and vice versa, and attempted to upload test walk/runs to see if synching is working. It has not. 

I am using a Xiaomi 12t and a Xiaomi smartband 8. I can figure out how to connect my smartband 8 to Strava. The list of devices does not show Mi or Xiaomi and when I click more it brings up a help screen. Any help appreciated Thanks     

Hello. I completed 2 Peloton workouts tonight and neither of them will sync to Strava. They usually sync automatically, but even after trying to manually share to Strava, the activities still do not appear. I saw a previous issue posted on here that said the issue is resolved, but that is not correct because I'm still experiencing it. Thanks!

It is a recurring issue since using the Google Pixel Watch 2 during runs.  After a couple of minutes (15/20), data stops being saved in my activity.  During my run, everything seems fine and data is correctly displayed on the watch (Heart rate, pace, kilometers) but once done, it looks like data is not saved to the activity.  It has happened multiple times, and this morning, close to 10k was not saved in my activity.  Weird thing is that final distance and pace seems accurate, but the map and heart rate tracking are way off.  Link to my activity is here if needed : https://www.strava.com/activities/10398148968 I read that it's due to conflicts with Fitbit that tries to auto-save the activity after a certain time so I deactivated the auto-save function, but the issue is still happening. 

Hi,I went to sync my stryd with my strava account, which is also paid with my watch.  Its now doubled all the workouts.Is it possible to revert back to a previous data point.  The duplicates are for the whole year and are subtlety different that they are not being deduped, probably because of the GPS nature of the watch and only the data extract from the stryd pod.Thanks,Ashley

Hello,I've been running the past couple of months with my Mi Band 6 registering the running data. I synchronizes with the Zepp life app and this app synchronizes with Strava.The problem is, the tempo analysis in both apps are different. I want to know what is closest to the truth?

I'm using Strava for a long time without any issues. Yesterday was the first time where I added two people to a run. Everything worked fine. Afterwards one of those persons deleted this activity from theirs. Now I have the problem, that my app doesn't work anymore. The home tab tries to load activities but stays white. When I reinstall the app and login at least the activities show for some time, but when I want to try to record a new activity, the map is black. Also if I open the map of an existing activity it is black. When I close the app and open again I'm back to the beginning -> No activities load, the screen stays white. I already deleted the activity which I suspected caused this behavior.Device: Google Pixel 8 Pro with latest software updates. 

Hi I am still having issues with my rides uploading .I have  a Garmin edge 830 and until 2 weeks ago was working great , complete ride - save - then it automatically uploaded to Strava .then it stopped . I followed advice and deleted Garmin connect then reinstalled, this never worked .i I had same issue with Apple Watch - tried using Strava that way - also still not uploading.Advice I was given was log into Garmin on a pc save ride then upload to starva .this isn’t practical and defeats the object of a portable device .please can someone help ?

Hi, My power meter or something glitched and gave me a reading of 2500 watts for about 3 minutes. Now my power curve is all wacky. Is there a way to edit my power numbers? NOT FTP, I ALREADY FIXED THAT 🙂Thanks!

Can anyone help? Sudden, after several years of working fine, my Peloton activities are no longer synching to Strava. I’ve tried to disconnect and reconnect, update, delete and reinstall apps. What is going on?

I use a Concept 2 rower and a Garmin Vivoactive 4 to record my rowing activities. The watch doesn't record distance. When the rowing activity is complete, it is recorded on Garmin Connect and pushed to Strava. Using the data on the Concept PM3, I modify Garmin Connect to include the virtual distance of the row. But, I don't see anyway to edit the Strava activity to include the virtual distance? Am I missing something and if so, how do I either manually add distance or get it to pull from Garmin Connect the edit activity? Or is there another way around the issue, like not automatically pushing the activity from Connect as soon as I save it at time of activity completion?
