Hello, I have been using Strava all ok for past 3 days and suddenly my map for todays ride is gone 😭, can anyone help me with settings and can the map be retrieved? All other stats are there. thanks ! 🤞

Hi there, Somehow I can't seem to add the Samsung galaxy watch 4 classic to my Strava account on the phone. I have downloaded them both but I am unable to sync them properly. The weird thing is, it is somehow connected to my account because I can record runs from the watch and it will be uploaded to the Strava account, but when I start a run from the phone it doesnt record anything from the watch like my heart BPM.  As far as I know I have given permission in the settings to both devices.  I also tried following the sync procedure on the app on the phone and it eventually gives me a 4 number digit to enter, however there seems to be no option on the watch to put these numbers in to make them sync.. Any advice?

As I understand it, most (all)? watch support assumes you want to track your run with your watch and then sync it to strava afterwards.However, what I'd like to do is continue to use the strava app to track the run (in part so I get the audio cues every kilometer), but be able to start the run from my watch and have things like heartrate synced.Is this possible with any watches?

Has anyone else had this problem. I recently swapped Garmin devices (screen broke on Edge 1030) so for subsequent rides, I have used an Edge 820 Garmin model. I have noticed that previous Strava activities have now duplicated the rides, one showing recorded with the 1030 which is correct and a duplicate activity (same data) but showing recorded with the 820 (which I hadn’t started using). These duplicates have gone back several months. Does anyone know why this has happened and also is there an easier way (than going through each activities) and deleting the duplicate?

Hi,  I just started using Strava a couple days ago and am having a heck of a time learning it. There's is very limited info available that isn't less than 3 years old, and the interface has changed a *lot*.  Connected apps on my S21: Watch5, Samsung Health, MyFitnessPal, Strava.  Is it possible to get my BPM on the Strava app screen when I mountain bike?    

Hi any help as to why my mii band 7 is missing distance when syncing with Strava from the mii fit app.  The full GPS route is there but the distance is being shortened when sending from miifit in km and showing in Strava in miles.  

ok, I’ll try this again. In my previous post I erroneously used the term BaseMap instead of FATMAP. SO…I downloaded FATMAP, but never got confirmation that it was linked to my Strava Premium. A couple of days later I deleted FATMAP and reinstalled. Now when I try to link the accounts, I get an error message stating that there is already a FATMAP account linked to my Strava. I can’t get past this point and therefore I have no way to download BaseMap routes to my account.My ultimate goal is to have the routes on my Garmin Edge 840, so if there is a workaround, I would welcome that as well. I did reach out to the Strava help desk. They replied asking me what my email was and then went radio silent to my further replies. Thanks in advance for any suggestions.

On my last 3 rides, my Strava route shows that I ended my ride sooner than I actually did. I sync my Sigma ROX 11.0 bike computer to Strava and upload my data after each ride. My Sigma app shows that I did the full route, however, Strava seems to come up with a random endpoint. This is not a privacy setting since that appears grey when looking at my routes, this is actually a little checkered flag showing I ended my ride in a location that I did not. I recently started using strava again. When I woke up this morning I saw a friend had commented on my walk from last evening. When i went to go see it, my activity was not able to be viewed and an error was displayed. Strava also got rid of my walk from 2 days ago as well. If I do “search keyword” in the activities, I can see all of my activities listed (pic belo), but when I click into my most recent one, I get an error message. My friends also cannot see the disappeared activities on my profile. Has anyone seen this before?   

The View analysis disappeared from my IOS app after I subscribed today. I cannot view my heart rate, elevation and speed curve on the app anymore. I tried updating to the latest App version from the App Store, and it's still the same.

I can’t seem to view mine or any of my clients ‘view analysis’ button but it worked until last week ?  Any help is much appreciated?

Hey guys! Just finished a 5k run and beat my pb with 24:06, but when i posted the run, it marked only 4,97km, so it does not count to my PB, eventhough when I stopped the run it said 5km. Does anyone know how can i fix that? or at least for the future?Ps: my phone is a xiaomi redmi note 10 5g

I have a Huawei GT Runner watch (which is great by the way) it syncs to Strava but Strava seems to end up showing a different (usually very slightly shorter) distance, which then throws the pace stats etc.. Why is this? Does Strava recalculate the GPS stats?Thanks

Hi, im struggling with the Strava app on my iPhone 13 Pro. I just downloaded it and was reddy for a active summer. But it won't work. At the start I tried the app and seemed cool but suddenly it just died on me. if I now try to go in to the app I will meet the " something went wrong, pleas try again" tag. the screen is white and I can't log out or do anything. When importing a run from Polar into Strava, Strava always cuts off some moving time. See pictures below. I ran for 46:47. This was correctly recorded by Polar. When the activity is imported into Strava, it says I ran the same distance in 44:53. Why is this?When running, I always manually pause my Polar watch at traffic lights. Auto-pause in Strava is turned off.

I reecently had to reset my Fossil Watch Gen 5 and then discovered that Stava is no longer available in the App store for Wear OS 2. Forced into buying a new watch.. Fossil Gen 6, with Wear OS 3 I am having trouble with Strava unable to get a GPS lock. Can anyone offer advice. Previosuly, if I had Strava open on my phone and it had a GPS lock then the app on my watch would as well. Now the app on my phone has a GPS lock but Strava on my watch just keeps saying it is trying to get a GPS fix. If I start an activity on my phone and watch at the same time, it takes about 5 minutes for the watch to get a lock. I assume it is only getting GPS location from the watch and not from the phone. In 'Location' on the watch, 'Use Location' is on and says 'get location from phone and watch'. Strava and the Fossil app have location permissions enabled on both the phone and the watch. Phone is a Huawei P20 Pro, only change since moveing from Gen 5 to Gen 6 w

Hi I did a race two days ago and saved it successfully from my garmin watch to iPhone.  Wesham 10k.  Had kudus from fellow club runners and comments.  So know it was absolutely saved and on Strava.  Yet the following day it just seems to have vanished yet I can see it listed on my run history. When I press on it in run history a red bar appears indicating a problem in system.  By the way  I definitely have not deleted the activity.  Have emailed into Strava support but heard nothing and no sign of the activity.  So sure it’s a glitch on my Strava.  Concerned as my activity seems to be lost in space ! I have paid a subscription to Strava.   My worry is if this happens again…  Love my running love Strava is there anything I can do ? 

I've been using the Strava App on my Pixel Watch since January this year.In the last 6-8 weeks, most times when I go to start an activity (either cycling or running), the GPS takes longer than previous to connect and then when it does and I hit 'start', the app regularly crashes and takes me back to the "home" page where you select an activity.  Sometimes it does this a couple of times and once I actually get an activity to start, it often then records this as a generic "workut" rather than the activity I have selected.I thought the cause of this was a faulty device as I replaced my Pixel Watch under warranty at the same time (the battery died on the old one), but I've since had the replacement replaced and noticed the same problem this morning when starting a run so now I'm not sure if its the watch, or maybe the Strava app itself as it only seems to have started happening since October - but the fact its now occurred on two seperate devices makes me think the ti

I recorded a run today on my Garmin watch and synced it to Strava but I cannot see it on my mobile app. I received a notification on my mobile that it's synced (and it's still there in the notifications), but when I try to access it I see a red note that 'something went wrong'. The run is not visible in the activity feed nor in my activities on mobile app. Yet I can see it in the 'Training Log' on mobile app.Strangely, everything is fine on the desktop version of Strava.Any ideas how to fix it? I would appreciate your help.

I already synced Strava with my Apple Watch and I still can’t connect with its Heart Rate Monitor.
