I just bought Geoid HS500 heart rate monitor and I can't connect it to my iPhone Strava app.  Works nicely with Garmin Edge and other fitness apps but no luck with Strava.Any suggestions what I'm doing wrong or that device won't pair with Strava and I'm wasting my time...

I've recently started riding outdoors again instead of using Zwift. My usual Zwift activities are written to Strava and then synced to apple health with no issues. I get full HR data and that then gets written in to Athlytic for load and training scoring. Today I rode my e-Bike and recorded it in the Shimano E-Ride app, this then exported to Stava and I see all the HR data in Strava.This has downloaded to apple health but there is no HR data, just a distance and time. This then means the Athlytic app doesn't pick up a load scoring.Is there a reason for this? I even recorded a ride in Strava on Sunday as well and that appears to have done the same thing, I have the workout but no HR data in health.I've double checked and all health data is allowed for Strava so it shouldn't be a permissions issue.

Activities are being uploaded as treadmill, eventhough I am choosing outdoor walk on the watch itself. After deleting the treadmill tag in Strava I still do not see the map. The Zepp application shows the map correctly, it looks like the GPS on the watch is working from the beginning to the end of the training. But it is still syncing to Strava without the map. Can you assist please? Is there any solution?

I start my activity with my iPhone but won’t activate my Apple Watch for heart rate or any data.i need to start another activity on my watch itself making two active recorded. Any ideas how this can be resolved?

Hi,I ran 15k today and recorded it using my Apple Watch. At the end of the run I clicked finish and when I check my phone the run has not been uploaded. I have forced closed both the app on my watch and also my phone and it still does not pull through. I have had the issue before but after a while the data does pull through, however, on this occasion it has been 6 hours and still nothing. Can someone please advise me. 

I’ve uploaded a run 40 mins ago and the app is still saying processing. I’ve read a few posts about this and tried all the steps with no luck. Hoping it’s just Strava being slow as it was a PB run. Anyone else having the issue ? 

Hi, when I import an activity from Apple 'health' into strava my route or maps are not importing. These are originally recorded in the workout app of Apple Watch Ultra. Just the basic info such as distance / time / duration etc is coming across fine, so the accounts are linked ok.  I cannot see if there is anything in permissions etc that affects specifically the route / mapping data. Sorry if this has been covered elsewhere, but any advice appreciated.  Thanks 👍

Please help… I bought a Fitbit inspire 2 for the sole purpose of recording swims on Strava. I’ve synchronised both accounts and tested a walk with just the Fitbit (phone left at home) and upon finishing the walk as I returned home, Strava had uploaded the walk by itself. I thought my swim would do the same. But nothing had uploaded to Strava. I see no way of doing it other than to press the record button on my phone before I get into the pool… but even then I worry it won’t track any movement from my Fitbit as my phone will be still in my bag!?… does anyone else struggle with getting this to work!? Any tips are welcomed! Thanks in advance 

I have an hour-and-a-half long workout that's not uploading to my account, just keeps stuck on processing. I've logged out and in, I've tried refreshing many times and tried uploading a new activity, with no solution.

Hi, I need some help and don't know the best way to ask. I have the Strava app since 2020, granted on older phones.  Using it till yesterday 30 April 2024. Today I had some issues, so after restarting my phone with no luck.  I uninstalled the app, to reinstall it. I know can't I stall it as it won't work on mine. As I said I have an older android phone, Archie 50 power. What has changed since yesterday for it not to work? It was fine yesterday.   Thanks

Sync of walk between Galaxy Watch 4 (Wear OS) and Samsung S21 failed. Fresh installs on both the phone and watch.

Think I've got things a little messed up - I use Strava, Apple Watch and a Garmin Edge 530 for my cycle rides but having loads of problems with duplications everywhere. Furthermore - todays ride (on Strava app and website) shows no heart rate data. Heart rate data DOES show on my Garmin Connect, Apple Fitness App though (latter under the Strava tag). Not sure if I should just start everything from scratch. Anyone else use these three apps/devices? How do you manage yours? Sorry for such a complex question on my first visit here. Many thanks S

In the last couple of weeks I've noticed a problem with run data imported to Strava from Apple Fitness. Strava reports the distance correctly, but the time – both elapsed and moving – is too short, so the pace quoted by Strava is too fast. It's not the same as this issue previously reported by @Jeroentje, because I don't believe it relates to the difference between total time and moving time. Instead, I think the import process is breaking off prematurely, before Strava has received all the data. An example: my last run as recorded by Apple was 4.88 km in a total of 31:40 minutes. The average pace shows as 6:29/km, which I know is about right. My Apple Watch has auto-pause turned on, but I didn't stop and didn't pause manually. So I will be using an apple watch soon and really want to use apples running interface.  I understand that i can make it automatically sync the apple workout to a strava workout, but will the running route be placed in my strava workout as well? Thank you

Hi team,I had activities on zepp app, having map data, when it synced to strava automatically. Then access to strava, Strava doesn't have map, and it show 'treadmill' instead.How to solve this issue. Thanks alot

Hello! I've been having this problem for almost 6 months now. Workouts from the third-party MyWhoosh and ThinkRider apps are not uploaded to Strava. Everything worked fine before. No loading lately. Who knows what the problem is?

 Hiya, I recorded a full day of alpine skiing from 10:00am to 6:50pm on my Apple Watch. I paused on my breaks and restarted when setting off again. When I finished the day I hit finished and done. When looking at the final upload it only counted 7 runs and 26km. I probably did twice the amount of that and can also see that the activity map hasn’t included some of the runs and lifts I travelled on. Im certain I hadn’t forgotten to start my watch, as the elapsed time was 7hrs but the uploaded is 3 hours less. I’m stumped. 

Hi all,It seems Garmin still not syncing with Strava two weeks after the apparent fix.Garmin data goes to connect app instantly with no issue but Strava simply doesn’t receive data.Strava moderators offered a manual solution which works fine but this issue needs sorting.As a paying Strava subscriber it’s very disappointing.

Hello everyone!Recently I used Strava to drive along a GPS track and saw that there was no option for voice messages saying, for example: turn right, left, continue straight, et.Strava only tells me meaningless things like: you stopped, started riding, resumed riding. It doesn't make sense because I know such things myself...If there are such options in Strava, where to look for them in the settings? And if they don't exist, I think it's a big minus compared to other cycling programs.Please help!J.  

I am having trouble syncing Apple Watch activity of Pilates and pickleball to the Strava app. I have forced closed the Strava app on my watch and closed the Strava app on my phone, but still no interface of data. Syncing of runs and rides from watch to Strava app on phone works fine. Any troubleshooting ideas would be appreciated. 

 Since yesterday the mobile map function is not working and I can't retrieve new and saved maps. I opened a ticket but no answer so far. Any idea on what's going on 

Hi guys 'n gals, I really hope you can help me with this one as it is still causing me problems.There are a number of routes that when I go out and ride the starred segments don't show on my Garmin Edge. I have tried removing them, and then adding them again, but this doesn't help. I am able to add new segments which appear like as normal, it's just a lot of my favourite segments I've had from the beginning no longer show -  it's harming my ride experience. I  really hope someone has a solution to this problem.Many thanks in advance of a reply.Kind regards, Chris.

Has anyone been able to get support manually creating a segment match? I have a request submitted (Request #2877036) that I haven't heard back from yet and I'm wondering if anyone has had success getting credit for a segment? 

New to Garmin/Strava (and swimming for that matter). Auto upload from Garmin to Strava, is the nearly 2 minute pace difference between the two due Garmin taking into consideration my multiple rests between lengths but Strava not? Any help would be appreciated! Thank you.
