Hey all. I've been looking at getting into zone 2 training. However, I've seen many videos saying that smartwatches are no good at tracking HR accurately. It appears that Strava on WearOS doesn't support external HR monitors (I don't understand why.. it's such a basic feature), so I'm now looking to see what my options are.Is there a way I can pair the external monitor with my phone (Google Pixel) instead and just start the workout from my phone instead of my watch? Is there any downside to this vs starting the run from my watch?Thanks.

Hello, my data is not showing in pc browser version of Strava. I've searched the problem and saw that many other people have had the same issue and I tried some of the suggested fixes such as clearing cookies. However I have not been able to resolve the problem. I have the problem with Chrome and with Edge so don't think it is browser related. Any suggestions?

Has anyone experienced the Segments not appearing after an activity.My last 2 runs show 0 segments - routes i have done before.have tried looking into reasons why - but nothing seems to work 

I am loged in to the same google-account on the watch and my phone, yet the activities that I record with the preinstalled activity tracker don't get synced anymore. The watch is not even showing up under connected devices in the phone app.I have tried to follow the troubleshooting steps from the website, but my watch never prompts me with the input field for the 4-digit code, so I get stuck at that step.

I know this doesn't sound like much of an issue. But when I finish my run on the Strava app on my Apple Watch Series 8, I have the option to 'save' or 'discard'. If I press 'save', it goes straight and puts it up on my Strava feed. It doesn't allow me to change the name, visibility, tags, etc. I have to then go onto my phone app and edit it, which is a real pain. Does anyone else have this issue, or any solutions? I am fine with it uploading to Strava, but I don't want it going directly to my feed so that people can see my 1km warmup... Many thanks!

Hello, I have been having issues with the splits on my activities when uploaded to Strava. The splits are accurate in the apple fitness app, but when I upload the workout to Strava, it completely messes them up. I have had 7:30 miles in the fitness app show up as 1:30 miles in Strava. The average pace is correct, segment times are correct, it is only the splits at the bottom of the activity that are wrong. This doesn’t change if I manually import the activities or if I have them on autoupload.

Do anyone know if Strava Live Segments will be implemented and available on the Apple Watch Ultra? Garmin watches got this feature, so why not Apple watches?

A bit biased, but... https://strautomator.com 🙂 All the features I wish Strava had built-in, but I know it won't (as most are quite "niche"). So I decided to develop them. Automations to change the activity metadata, custom weather details, auto activity muting, gear component mileage tracking, integration with external ICS calendars (so you can see your upcoming club events and past activities), automatic FTP estimations, plus some other little bits.

I use my Apple Watch 6 to record my "indoor ride". I ride an indoor resistance trainer with Garmin speed/cadence sensors. When I save my ride, and it syncs to STRAVA, the distance is missing. I tried doing the "correct distance" but I do not get that option when I go into the activity and click the three dots.

If I start recording from the app on my pixel phone, data seems to record correctly. If I start recording from strava app on the pixel watch 2 the data is wrong.  Is this a bug with the watch app?

Hello,  I'm looking for a way to connect the health data of my samsung watch 6 with my strava account on my phone, in a way I can see my bpm per km for the activities I record. For now, even if I did connect my watch 6 with my strava account, I can't see it on my phone, the goal is to go for a run only with my watch and not with my watch + my phone.  Also I read that I can have a strava code to connect it, but on my watch I don't have anything to enter the code on strava 😞 Thank you for your help !

Today I went riding with a friend but forgot my Garmin.  We did the same route; he had his Garmin and uploaded his route to Strava.  How can I (if I can) upload "his" route to my Strava?   Many thanks.

I've already allowed all the permissions and it is working fine if I do activities like cyclism or running using Samsung Health. Usually it syncs well with full functionality with Strava afterwards.But if I start the same activity in Strava instead of Samsung Health, it doesn't show my watch as a cardiac sensor so it is unable to get my heart data, unless I do it by Samsung Health and wait for sync.This should not be a problem at all, but for weight lifting, the Strava app does not sync automatically with Samsung Health. Also, if I select weight lifting in the app, it doesn't show any cardiac sensor available and therefore is not possible to track my heart rate.

I recorded a yoga workout in strava on my Samsung 6 classic watch not connected to my mobile. When the watch connected to the mobile nothing synced and the workout has disappeared. The watch shows 0 unsynced in the settings. I thought I didn’t need my phone to record on Strava.

Hi - activities logged on Strava have synched with my enthuse fundraising page without issues in the past. Yesterday, none of my two activities did synchronise with my enthuse page, but today's activity did. Any ideas of how I can 'force' a synch for yesterday's activities?

Tried to ask Strava support for help twice, no help so far, so decided to ask the community...I try to migrate my sport tracking from Garmin Instinct2 to Samsung Galaxy Watch 6 LTE. Syncing configured in both Garmin Connect and Samsung Health and I currently use both watches (Garmin & Samsung 🙂 the same time. All outdoor (run, walking) activities are synced in Strava correctly, but the most of Samsung indoor workouts (yoga, weight etc.) are missing, just Garmin records without the correcponding records from Samsung Watch, but all missing workouts are available in the Samsung Health. I plan to stop using Garmin Watch & Garmin Cnnect and to start using Samsung Watch & Strava, but with missing indoor workouts Starva service is useless. Dear community (or Strava support), please help!Thank you!

I have created a strava challenege, and set it to most activity of steps as the goal. If invite my colleagues will their steps around the office auto sync from their watches (Garmin/Fitbit/Apple) and count towards this? ie they don’t have to press record or stop every time they take a step for it record? or if tg et just sync once a day will this sync all their steps too ? Also can you post photos(ie like a Facebook post) on the challenge page? Thank you!!!! 

Hi, table tennis is recognized as tennis when imported from Garmin, have to edit type of activity manually each time. Is there a way to remedy this? Thanks 

Hello, I have just purchased my son a Garmin watch to record his runs and work with a trainer. He doesn’t have a phone or iPad though. I have the Strava app on my phone and iPad and was wondering if I can add him as another account/person? I’m wanting to be able to log in/out of either my account or his account on the same decide and app. TIA for any light you can shed on achieving this 

Hello there,Does the pixel watch 2 support voice coaching? I find this feature really useful to understand my split pace, however although I have turned on the voice coaching it doesn't seem to work when running without my phone and only with my watch? Any suggestions?

Hello,I've been experimenting with the Fitify fitness app on my iPhone / Apple Watch. The issue is that I can't transfer workouts into Strava even if Fitify uploads them to Apple Health.After contacting Fitify support, I was informed that since Apple Health receives the data, Strava must be source of the issue.How can I use Apple Health to integrate Fitify workouts into Strava? Or is there another way around it?Thanks for your help.

Hello,I have been using Strava for years with the same watch and I have noticed this week that maps from new activities are not displaying and maps from previous activities have dissapeared. I haven't modified anything related with configuration in many months. How can this be possible?Thank you.
