Phone: OnePlus Nord EU, latest updates (Android 12)Strava App is installed from the US Play Store, version: 304.7The app crashes upon start. I tried clearing the cache, then clearing the data. Hi,I have added the stava app to my Apple watch but for some reason, it does not show the swim logo when I want to use it for a swim. It has outdoor run, outdoor bike, outdoor walk indoor of each of those three, hike, nordic ski, and workout. how can I put swim onto it?

Hi. on a slow lap my average wattage is much too high. how is this possible? i entered my weight 88kg and ftp 330 on zwift. i don't have power meters on my bike and i use a garmin explore hope someone can help me    

I tried Apple TV (recently I got aware that I no more need to take a macbook to the TV, dropping sweat on it, if I switch to an Apple TV device and I immediately bought one) and found two cases where my virtual rides became physical rides in Strava:1) Kinomap on Apple TV is very limited, it doesn't export rides and I created a manual activity in Strava. Maybe I was ambisinister and didn't find how to do this the right way, but my manual activity was created as (physical) ride2) I tried some app called PsychoRide, it failed to upload to Strava directly, so I uploaded to Training Peaks and exported a gpx from there to upload to Strava. I suspect that somewhere around Training Peaks my virtual ride became physical rideNow I know (c), but these two rides are unnecessarily physical ones

Hi all, will Strava add live segments to the Samsung Watch5?. I can't seem to enable this anywhere.  I know Garmin watches support this but it's not on Samsung watches as of yet.

Dear Strava cummunity,I have the problem, that a running strava activity "blocks" my dynamic island. Normally you can swipe to the right to remove it. That works with all other apps, but not with strava. The compass arrow reappears immediately, so it is not possible to display another activity if strava is running.I can not use strava any more, because I use the dynamic island to view my heart rate. Thats not possible if strava is running because of this behavior.I think this is a bug of the strava app. Or any possible solution?Thanks!Michael

Hello! 🙂 I have an issue with syncing two of my activities. I can see that the activities are reflecting in my feed and other people can see it as well. But the syncing status is never complete. I tried logging out and logging back in and  updating the app. But it never seems to disappear. It's been 2 days now. Any idea what could be the issue here? Thanks in advance! 🙂

Last day, I decided, that I could try Workout app on Apple Watch instead of Strava. The main reason was, that Strava app doesn't record Cadence and there is no option, to setup intervals (and warmup, cooldown etc.). So far for this purpose, I was using Intervals Pro app from time to time. But the cadence reading was strangely off when exported to StravaSo I setup simple workout with 6 minutes warmup, one Work segment 5 miles long and 6 minutes cooldown.In activity App there is everything correct. Three intervals showing right data. Cadence. Even power (latest watchOS and iOS version).But after importing to Strava (using iOS Strava app import function), data are not correct.power is missingcadence is missingactivity has 57! laps with no clue, on which they are basedI googled the problem with laps, and there were some suggestions, that this is the problem with pace range notifications, which I have setup on every interval type in this particular custom Apple Watch workout...So the q

I've been running into this very problem and now have 22 unsynced activities that never seem to sync. I tried clicking on the unsynced activities banner to open that export page pictured above, but it just flashes like it's trying to open a menu and then closes it directly again; so I can't get to the export. I've tried restarting my phone, but that didn't change anything. Interestingly it seems to sync "runs" just fine, but "rides" on the bicycle appear to be the ones that it won't sync. I'm on version 297.8 (1229074) which appears to be the latest version and I'm on Android 11 on Pixel 2. Is there a fix in the works for this? I'm not sure if I should cut my losses and try reinstalling the Strava app (losing those 22 activities) or if there's any hope this will be resolved at some point so they can sync? Is there anything else to try? Thanks for the help!

I recently purchased an Apple Watch (yay for me). Unfortunately, it seems to have “broken” things.  Prior to the Watch, all workouts recorded in Strava, be they native Strava recordings of runs, or cycling workouts (indoor and outdoor) reported from TrainerRoad or Wahoo were all synched back to the Health app in Apple.  Since I purchased and set up the Apple Watch, the Apple Health app is not receiving ANY workouts from Strava, even those recorded in the Strava App for the Watch. I’ve tried deleting and reinstalling Strava on the phone, rebooting, and all of the steps here (https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216917527-Health-App-and-Strava).  I’ve a ticket open with the help desk, but have not heard back yet. Closely related, would love the Action Button on my Ultra to be able to launch Strava.

For RUNNERS strava live segments on Garmin devices are a great help to motivate and improve. BUT, when you are 40+ yo running a segment fast, trying to improve your PR, is difficult to read the very small characters, on a screen that is not practical to see running fast. You can fall trying to read it ... and then the sections with descent are limited? But if the problem is the small print. Improve this aspect, please! Thank you. (in other devices like Polar, it seems better implemented, for runners)

É um prazer está aqui e venho através desta relatar um erro apresentado na apresentação da minha atividade no Strava após importar automaticamente uma atividade coletada pelo Samsung Health. Sempre utilizei meu Galaxy Watch 4 LTE para coletar as atividades e tudo sempre funcionou perfeitamente, mas no dia 08 deste mês, percebi o erro!! O erro consiste em apresentar como dispositivo utilizado o GARMIN EDGE 305 ou invés de apresentar SAMSUNG HEALTH. Não fiz nenhuma mudança no portal Strava e nem no meu Galaxy Wacth 4. Zwift Ride did not post correctly in Strava. Ride was interrupted by short power failure. Got everything back up and running. Zwift appeared to show that I was re-joining the interrupted ride and accrued mileage from there. When activity was ported to Strava it only shows mileage and history up to the power failure. Strava also shows a prompt on the activity record that reads "Processing media  tap to see progress" at the top. But it never changes or makes any progress. I tried to download the .fit file and upload manually but Strava indicates that it is a duplicate and does not overwrite the short distance file that was posted. Any ideas? THX

I run with my mobile phone strapped to my arem. A couple of times recently I can't save the run properly and see the data - it just says that the run is syncing - on some kind of endless loop. I can't see the details on my laptop either. Is there anyway I can fix this? It's really irritating as I'm trying to build up towards a 10k and it would be really useful. I don't want to just delete the info.  I haven't yet tried exporting it as a GPX file which is one of the options given.

Hi, I have a series 8 watch and all health connections enabled but no calorie count is showing up on my Strava when I run, can someone advise?

I'm not sure how important navigation is to many on here, but I recently upgraded from an Edge 520 to the Edge 1040, and the navigation capabilities are so much better... it even alerts to upcoming dangerous (tight) corners! If I can muster the energy, I may put a quick post together on here about my experiences so far with the 1040 (navigation: great, sync: bad).  

I feel I have to do loads of effort in Zwift. Also my w/kg is not matching the real power I am doing. For example, yesterday in a 23km race (E) had an average of 222W but finished last and 5 minutes behind guys with an average power lower than 100W. I would like to know what could I do to calibrate this issue. It started after I changed my bike on the trainer as before I could easily do 2W/kg.

Hi there, I’ve tried the steps in the article here. Something weird I noticed is that I managed to get the 4 runs I did in Dec imported. However, I can’t seem to get my 1st Jan 2023 run sync to the the app. Is there a bug or is there something that I did wrongly? the only difference I noticed was that during the Dec runs, I’ve used the workout app to track, however on Jan’s 1st run, I used the strava record app to track during the run. Can help assist me?

My new xiaomi revolve active smartwatch is not synchronised data with strava application any body have solution?  

Help! I disabled my connected between my Whoop and Strava because whoop was creating a duplicate post from my strava activity. Even though disabled as a strava integration, whoop is still pushing to my strava activity timeline. Has anyone else had this problem or figured out how to trouble shoot it?Thanks! 

Help please : I have just purchased a new iphone,  I added all the Apps etc inc Strava and now cant open the Strava as my email is no longer available ! So cant add a new e-mail as it asks for password etc. Devastated at the moment. My old phone still has the data etc etc on the old phone app. If anyone could help I would be v grateful  Peter T

I have an issue, and I dont know if it is the right place to discuss it.  - All my activities from Samsung health are syncing to Strava as RUN. It could be Swimming, walking etc., still going to Starava as RUN.  Is anyone having the same problem? And who to report to? 

I've just changed to using a Garmin 255 (previously had a Coros Pace 2 and before that a Garmin 920) and now my track workouts (saved as a Workout on Strava) are showing very odd times (way too short) for rest periods between reps. It seems like it's now using moving time rather than elapsed? It has been working fine for the Coros & Garmin 920, both correctly showing the full rest periods on Strava. In Garmin Connect the activities recorded on the 920 & 255 both look fine with the correct rest being reflected, but when transferred to Strava the 255 data is being changed, whereas the 920 data isn't?
