[It’s not possible to reply to previous threads, so I’m starting a new one.]Hi Strava, Please consider re-instating the display of “hiking speed” as one of the main 6 metrics for hikes, or allowing users to add this in just as some metrics can be hidden. Serious hikers care about speed infinitely more than steps or the likely highly speculative estimate of calories. The removal of speed from this list gives the impression that Strava is no longer a product for serious hikers.  Please help in correcting that impression by allowing speed to be included.

is there a way to reset all PRs? i am just getting back into a fitness routine post pregnancy. But also 5 years post some of my best PRs. I doubt i would be able to match my best PRs ever again now. would be a fabulous motivator.

Hi,I'm building an application using the Strava Webhook Events API and I'm running into an environment isolation issue.The problem: Strava only allows one active webhook subscription per Client ID. Hello!I’ve seen that in Strava profile I can see my stats for my major sports - for me Run, Hike, Walk and Yoga as can seen there: But when I call API for Athlete Stats, I can only get Run, Bike and Swim - no mention of other sports. I’ve seen that I can get list of all acitivities for used by API - set after param in query to 1.1.{currentYear}, filter relevant sport type and them cumulate distance and elevation but I think this approach is overkill (download 300+ activities in December just to get elevation gain for hiking in this year...). Hi there!Is there a way to access who I ran with in the API? I went on a run and the official Strava app nicely shows that I did run with my friend indeed, but I can’t seem to find this data anywhere on the API unfortunately.I’m working on a little app that just creates fun visualisation for the runs based on the details. And I thought it would be much more fun and social if I could include my friends into the visualisation when I run with them. Thanks,Dani

Hello,I recently received an email confirming that my application was approved for the Strava Developer Program with the following limits: Overall Rate Limit: 600 requests every 15 minutes (6,000 per day) Read Rate Limit: 300 requests every 15 minutes (3,000 per day) Athlete Capacity: 999 However, in my API settings dashboard, my application still appears to be limited to only 1 authorized athlete, and a second Strava account cannot authorize the app through OAuth.It seems like the application might still be in Single Player Mode despite the approval email.What can i do so ?Kr Thomas

I have a website where I am embedding Strava segments (not routes) at the bottom. However, when I view it on the webpage, the Global settings show KMs. If you export a route, you have the choice to choose the type of units. Hello community,I’m developing RunningCup, a mobile app for tracking running activities and challenges, where users can optionally import their own activities from Strava.Recently, Strava rejected our API access request, citing privacy concerns:“You must always respect Strava users and their privacy choices. This includes not sharing a Strava user’s data with other users or third parties. Strava Data related to other users, even if such data is publicly viewable on the Strava Platform, may not be displayed or disclosed.”In RunningCup: Users can only import their own activities from Strava. Global leagues and rankings in the app are based on activities from all RunningCup users, including those imported from Strava. We do not display data from other Strava users, and Strava data is not shared with third parties.

Hi! With the UI update on desktop, it seems that the access to the route is now broken.  When I click on “Send to device” or “See on Strava” on an event page, it opens a strava.app.link which does not seem to work on desktop (either Firefox or Edge), getting a  ERR_NAME_NOT_RESOLVED. Any way you guys can fix that?  Thanks!

Hi all,After testing in dev env, I tried to change the domain for production, but it seems stuck with the previous (dev domain), even after 24h (3 days to be honest).The field contains “proddomain.com” and I’m still able to use “devdomain.com” and cannot use the prodomain, get a forbidden.Any hints on how to change this ?

Hey there,As a personal project, I am building an AI workout planner tool, where users can input some information about themselves (or connect their Strava account) and receive an AI training plan. They can their planned workouts in a calendar view, and as they complete them they will be automatically marked as completed if the activity on Strava roughly matches their planned activity.For this I am planning to use the Strava API to pull past ~3 months of running activities to help the AI understand the users capabilities. I am slightly unclear on what is / isn’t allowed from the API guidelines POV, any insight would be greatly appreciated!

How does one get an App listed in Strava Apps?

Hey everyone! Quick feedback on the activity sharing feature for Alpine Skiing.Currently, when sharing a "stat map" image, the distance includes the entire loop, ski lifts and all. This ends up inflating the total distance quite a bit.Would it be possible to update this so we can:• Show only downhill distance on the shared image?• Or at least select which stats (downhill vs. total) are displayed?It would be great to show off the actual skiing rather than the lift rides! Anyone else noticing this?

I would like to create a weekly recap for our club and automatically query our club’s API on a regular basis.To set this up, I’m wondering whether I should create a separate account for this, so that someone else from the club can take over the project later without needing access to my personal account.Does anyone have experience with this?
