Certain ideas aren't well thought or expressed. It would be nice to downvote such ideas.

Where ideas are not well thought through or expressed, we encourage other members to collaborate in comments with the original author to refine and improve ideas wherever possible. Sometimes an idea is good but with community collaboration could be even better.
Downvoting is not a feature we plan to offer. If it's not an idea you like then you choosing not to vote on it is a representation of popular/unpopular in itself as this may lead to fewer votes overall for a particular idea if others share your viewpoint. If you feel strongly that an idea is not a good one then you are free to add a comment to the idea explaining why you think the idea would not be helpful to you or other athletes so this type of feedback can also be considered during our evaluation process.
