Strava Community Hub

The Strava mobile app currently does not support .gpx export forcing users to use leverage the desktop application as part of that workflow. As a trail runner who travels frequently (without a laptop) and relies on .gpx files for navigation in offline mountain environments, having the ability to export a .gpx file from a route published by a club group run or the route builder would be a powerful feature. In the mobile app, the Segments page is currently just organized by Activity Type (Run, then Ride), then by Added Date, descending. That's fine... but we need different ways to find our saved segments. Eg, a search field, or filters based on length, elevation, etc. Also, the app only shows the most recent 100 starred segments; it's weird you can't see any older ones??? This feedback also applies to the desktop web view, which just gives you a long paginated list without any way to find a segment you saved. ... View more

Unsure if this is available in WearOS 3 as I haven't received the update yet. But in the current version, it would be very handy to use an external HR monitor(chest straps/forearm straps)  and link it in the app as getting HR reads from the watch (wrist) is inaccurate in most WearOS watches and the problem worsens as the intervals shorten. The native google fit app of them allows to connect to the external HR monitor, but obviously this app misses all the goodness that comes from Strava, it would be great to have this option on the strava WearOS app     ...   When I tap on a photo in an activity, it brings up a screen with all the photos on a given activity. The only way to return to the previous screen (whether that's the Home feed, or an activity detail page that I came from), is to tap the "x" in the top-left corner. It would be great if I could just swipe right from the left edge of the screen, similar to how swiping right works in the rest of the app. It's a bit annoying to have to reach all the way to the top-left (especially on larger phones, or with smaller hands) (I am using the iOS app; I have not used Android so I don't know if this suggestion applies there as well) ...
