Since launching video last summer, athletes like you have brought even more action to activities. Now, we're giving you a new way to upload your video content: on the web. Previously, videos could only be uploaded via the Strava app. Now, you can upload and view on the web as well. I don't know if anybody else is having a similar experience, but since the update and implementation of the new version of Routes in Strava, I can barely find any routes of any distance from my physical location, whereas pre-update, I could literally find a boat load of routes of any distance. (activity is running)Even the functionality is worse with how you set the length of the route to search for. Seriously debating not renewing my subscription because of this.Hopefully someone tells me I'm missing something!

1. Given that segments populate the map based on the number of users who have "starred" it, what is the threshold value in order for a segment to show up?2. Also, why is this not based on the number of activities recorded along the segment over X number of days/weeks/months?I had to dig to find out how STRAVA quantified "popularity" regarding segments, so perhaps a bulletin or article to inform the broader user base on the how/why certain segments show up in their map.

Is there anyone who likes riding ebikes like me, and has used ebikes for mountain biking to exercise and lose fat? I would like to ask which ebike brands and models are better for mountain biking?

Today under  following tab the activities of those athletes are no longer listed by recent date. The dates are completely random making it almost impossible to acknowledge their efforts with kudos. Many of them participate in multiple activities per day and I've been scrolling endlessly to find everyone.It was working fine the morning of 5-28-2024 however, by the evening was a scrambled mess. If this is a new feature it's a nightmare. I can't find their daily activities by club due to the amount of members. Please acknowledge.

Anyone training for Murph this year on Memorial Day?The workout: 1 mile run100 pull-ups200 push-ups300 squats1 mile runwearing a 20lb weight vest!You don't have to do the reps straight through. One of the most common variations is 20 sets x (5 pull-ups, 10 push-ups, 15 squats). I am training without the weight vest and fewer reps to build up strength. The training feels good. The full workout is tough. Hard to keep going, but you feel amazing after you finish. 

I'm trying to flag an activity that has drawn the attention of people in a Strava club because it's ridiculously fast for the activity. Probably the guy forgot to turn off Strava when he was done and then drove off in a car.When I fill out the form and click the flag button I just get Strava error page that says "Sorry, this one stays red." Which I could mean anything from a 404 to something seriously broken. Whatever the case, I can't flag the bad activity.

Hello, I would like to ask why my Strava app is not displaying my steps count, while my friend's Strava app is showing it. Can someone please help me with this? Thank you.

what is the best way to plan a route for "KOM-hunting" ? I tried within the Strava integrated routplaner. But there is no possibility to connect some segments in a usefull way together. 

I have been a member since 2018, recording many activities with heart rate monitors, but I can no longer can see my Fitness and Freshness, as below. Is there anything that I may do to bring back these stats? For context my activities can be seen at https://www.strava.com/athletes/32326539 .

It would be great to be able to select more sports for Clubs. In addition to run/swim/bike, our group paddles a lot, flat and white water. It would be nice to be able to 1- plan for example kayak activities int eh club, 2-have the kayak activities counting the leaderboard.Thanks

In Strava subscription, I can see how to view time-in-HR-zones for each activity, individually. I have also looked at the Fitness and Freshness charts. What I cannot figure out is how to simply see what percentage of time weekly and monthly I spend in each HR zone, across all activities. That is how HR training is supposed to work: you do an 85-15 or 80-20 distribution over a time period. I've done a lot of googling on this topic and am stuck. I've even looked at copying each activity and putting in into Excel for analysis. In that case I don't need Strava! What am I missing?

Hi, does anyone know if there are Strava-compatible indoor bikes that cost under $1000? I don't need comminity training features and would rather not pay a monthly subscription. Thanks!

Last January I shifted from Apple Watch 6 to Apple Watch Ultra. At the same time, I shifted from using Nike Run Club to Strava to monitor my runs. As well, I started running much more regularly on a treadmill than outdoor. After this, the VO2 max recorded by Apple Health has been tremendously going down over the last two months, despite the fact that I increased my volume of running by roughly 30%. I checked with Apple Support but they could not give me a definitive answer. I'm wondering whether this is due to lack of syncing between Apple Watch Ultra and Strava. Anybody has been experiencing the same? Can anybody advise? Thanks

Hi everyone, first message here since I got my Membership 🙂I'm training for a marathon and noticed that Strava consistently reports better pace than my friend I'm running with who's using Nike Run. Upon closer examination we noticed that Nike applies aggressive smoothing to the GPS data, while Strava leaves lots of wiggles in. Compared to a map-based route plan the Strava distance is inflated almost 3% (!) due to the wiggles, while Nike is quite close to the theoretical map distance.This is explained in https://support.strava.com/hc/en-us/articles/216919487-How-Distance-is-Calculated but the GPS smoothing explained there is either not working or not aggressive enough. The correct value is probably in the middle between "map" and "snake lines all the way", but as it stands, Strava is giving me a better pace than I'm actually ru

I use Training Peaks app to have my activities checked by my coach based on data that I upload from Strava. I do it manually by typing/export_tcx in the address bar and then uploading a tcx file to the Training Peaks calendar. However, I noticed that TP shows elapsed time instead of Moving time by default and in order to get it right, each time I have to edit the activity data and type correct time. Why is it so and is there a way to make Strava export moving time rather than elapsed time? 

I have a garmin forerunner 255 and my activities are automatically uploaded from garmin connect to strava. Yesterday i did a 10k run but the activity in strava has 0,00km. The activity in garmin connect however shows all the right data and kilometers. I have tried to manually upload the .gpx and .fit files to strava but then the problem remains. Anyone has an idea what the problem is and how i can resolve this? Thanks!

Since last couple of weeks, the community hub keeps logging me out quite often / after short time of inactivity, saying that the session has expired. Before, the page would keep me logged in. Has anything changed in the website configuration? (I keep using the same browser - Chrome on iOS - there probably were some app updates in the meantime as well). 

After an event is logged and you linked the activity with someone you did the activity with. If you then go into settings to hide start and end points from that location, the start and end points are not hidden on the feed. But when you press the activity the start and end points are hidden. I also managed to link an activity to the så.e person twice.   

Picked up a Galaxy Watch 6, and when starting my weight training the watch would record my Heartrate, but not my elapsed time. I also had it randomly finish my workout, but it showed the elapsed time on the finished post. When im not viewing the workout on my watch it records the time, once i view the workout on my watch the time goes down to 00:00.I previously owned a watch 4 to track my weight workouts, and never had a problem. 

Hey everyone, my name is Matt. I have been riding daily for just over six months now. Looking for riders who are keen for an after-work late evening ride. Some of my friends who I used to Hassel to come for rides with me, are now only holding me back, and I'm constantly having to stop or backtrack to them. I'm looking for people who ride around 25-35kmh, and distance of around 20-30kms. If anyone is looking for the same let me know. Thanks

I'm going for a total elevation gained goal for 2024 - across all human powered sports (hike, run, walk, trail run, ride, backcountry ski). This should be covered by the Yearly Elevation Goal on the app, but mine looks wildly off. I think it's including all my Alpine Ski elevation descended. Since Alpine Ski is lift-served, can you please remove Alpine Ski from the Yearly Elevation Goal? Thank you!FYI - outer space is 330,000ft high. A great yearly elevation goal 🚀

Hi all,New to the community hub but been using Strava since 2019. Mostly for running up to the point I got COVID. I was out for almost 2 years with the after effects and I now mostly ride my Peloton bike which has quite literally saved my life. I will return to running when I’ve built my fitness and lost some weight. My fitness graph recently went through the roof as it was registering the same activity from up to 3 different inputs (Peloton bike, TacX, Garmin watch and Garmin HRM)!! This was sometimes logging 6 or more separate sessions which caused my graph to shoot up at a staggering rate. I’ve now managed to work out how to get the right inputs so my graph has settled down, but it drops by a point or two every day even though I usually do 60 mins of intense activity on the bike daily. I thought it would stabilise but it’s shows no sign of going back up. Is this a bug or something? What do I need to do to get it trending up ag
