I really like the Relative Effort feature on Strava as I feel it helps with motivation. However, a couple of weeks back I did a Lactate Threshold Heart Rate (LTHR) test and following this I adjusted my HR zones using the newly calculated LTHR. Since then it seems that the RE figures for my activities are quite a bit lower although I don't feel like I am working any less hard. Is this because of the change to my zones? The RE graph currently suggests I am working below average at the moment (very demotivating). Do I just have to wait for the average to sort itself out?

I can still see all the data (elevation chart, HR chart, cadence chart, etc.) on the web version of Strava, but the "View Analysis" button has disappeared from the phone app. Friends of mine can still see this when they view my workout, but I don't have an option to do this anymore on my phone.I upgraded my iPhone to v.17.5.1 yesterday afternoon and I have a feeling that this triggered a bug in the Strava iPhone app. I have deleted the app (and data) then reinstalled it but problem remains. Any other ideas?

Hi everyone, I suddenly stopped seeing the heart rate analysis on my activities (pie chart with heart zones). Not only on mu recent activities, but also older ones where there was. any ideas? Has it been taken off? thanks

Did weather data break? I don't see it populating for any 2024 rides on mobile or desktop. I do have Premium, and it's there for old rides. I'm seeing it as missing on other athlete's rides, too.  

Hi I’m new to Strava and open water swimming.i have a question re: tracking distance and time using my Garmin Venu 2 watch. As far as I know my watch cannot track open water swimming. Time yes, distance and gps, pretty sure not. I’ve downloaded the Swim Coach app and from my understanding, it can’t either. Anyways. I downloaded the Strava app and used it for the first time yesterday. To my surprise, I found this on my Strava when I got home. I’m delighted with it. But can somebody enlighten me which of the above produce this? My garmin venu 2 or swim coach app?  Many thanks!! 

If it wasn't for my GF, I wouldn't know - I get trophies, I see the trophies in my activity, however the achievements are showing differently in her feed. See here, my last two activities:  And this is how she sees the acitivities: I refreshed the acitivity achievements but no help. What am I missing here? Thanks.

I'm not getting Ride workout analysis for my rides, but my friends getting the same for their rides, What is stopping me to get this? Kind support pls. (images of mine and my friend rides are attached)   

Hi Guys  Would love If strava would give KOM badges by age group. I'm 60 and cycle a lot I cant get near the top but within age category I'm up there. At 60 I'm never going to beat 25 year olds but just because we are veterans dosnt mean that we are not competitive with our age group.   What do you all think 🤔 🤔 

It seems to me Strava invested a lot of development effort into restricting the possibilities to edit components, leading to the user being handcuffed.I simply want to maintain a list of components, the date each was added, and the date each was removed from a bike - that's all. No complex programming logic is needed.I sometimes want to add a note or change the name of a retired component. And I sometimes want to move a component from one bike to another. And yes: I also had a case where a frame was replaced, but all other components stayed - it still counts as the same bike to me.Concrete Suggestions:- adding a frame after you retire one should be enabled (or at least allow un-retiring it)- editing retired components should be enabled- editing the actual "retired on" date should be enabled- moving a component from one bike to another should be enabled (or at least add a field for starting mileage and age of a component at the time i

Yesterday, on June 2nd, 2024, I first uploaded the route from my Android and it showed that it was my 2nd best marathon time. Then I uploaded the same route from the Bryton Rider 15 and deleted the route recorded by the Android. Now it incorrectly shows that it is my 3rd marathon time, even though it is actually my second best time. Refreshing the activity achievements doesn't help. What should I do to display it correctly?

I recently loaded the official Strava route for the Ford RideLondon Essex event.I am now wanting to delete the route from my profile - but the Delete option no longer exists for that route - same on the computer and the iPhone.The route link is from https://www.strava.com/athletes/22990931Anby thoughts on how to get rid of it as it appears locked out.  

   

For about 2 weeks the Strava app has consistently taken about 1.5 minutes to load on my iPhone. I’ve tried reinstalling the app and I’ve tried different WiFi and also mobile data. No difference.

I've set a new PR for 5k several times now but it never updates. However, 1/2 marathon PR updated on the 1st.

I am attempting to download the Strava app on my daughter's Apple watch.  I have been able to download on her iPhone, but when trying to download onto the watch I receive the following error message: ""com.strava.stravaride.watchapp" is not allowed to be installed on this Apple Watch due to device management restrictions."I have reached out to Apple Support and they instructed me to contact the app developer for guidance. Any suggestions?  

I'm just curious, but when someone starts following you, Strava sends a notifcation of that:  "xyz is following you; follow back"When a person unfollows someone they were following, does that person know somehow?(this is mostly privacy related)Thanks

There might be a bug in the personal heatmap in iOS app. Basically all my mountain bike rides this year are not displayed on the personal heatmap in iOS app (ski activities are displayed though), and all these missing records are correctly displayed on the  personal heatmap from the the website.So I think there might be some inconsistency in between app's and website's personal heatmap. Does the sport type filter "Rides" in iOS app only filter "Ride" activities but not "MountainbikeRide" activities?

I did exactly the same commuting ride as I did quite a few times this year, but now the Matched Rides feature is not showing up. Previously it popped up instantly.

 I ran 18 miles (though I suspect it was actually 17). You can see that my pace on mile 3 & 4 are significantly faster, at 7:33 and 8:36, when it should be roughly 12 minutes per mile. It also added a full mile - the trail I run uses trail markers, and Strava was saying I was at mile 3 when I passed the 2 mile marker. I ran out to the 8 mile marker and back, only to find myself at a little over 17 miles??? (I ran a little extra to hit 18 miles). i don’t want to delete an 18 mile run like this, but this has essentially ruined my PRs and any chance for me to get one. I feel like a fraud leaving it up. Can someone fix this?

I do both running activity and cycling activity. Sometimes my main activity is cycling such as in 2022, and sometimes my main activity is running such as in 2023 and 2024, however, the fitness score have big difference, which confused me. Please make this link work instead of routing to a useless chatbot, it seems the only way to submit a report is via email now which you only discover by arguing with the chatbot for a bit 

I don't know if anybody else is having a similar experience, but since the update and implementation of the new version of Routes in Strava, I can barely find any routes of any distance from my physical location, whereas pre-update, I could literally find a boat load of routes of any distance. (activity is running)Even the functionality is worse with how you set the length of the route to search for. Seriously debating not renewing my subscription because of this.Hopefully someone tells me I'm missing something!

1. Given that segments populate the map based on the number of users who have "starred" it, what is the threshold value in order for a segment to show up?2. Also, why is this not based on the number of activities recorded along the segment over X number of days/weeks/months?I had to dig to find out how STRAVA quantified "popularity" regarding segments, so perhaps a bulletin or article to inform the broader user base on the how/why certain segments show up in their map.
