It almost never fails that the top few spots on every cycling challenge leaderboard are held by people whose profiles are private, and the number of miles or the amount of elevation these people claim to have ridden are almost impossible to believe. I ride outdoors every day regardless of the weather, and I haven't missed a day on the bike in over 7 years. During this period I've averaged over 9700 real outdoor miles per year. It's pretty disheartening to look at the monthly cycling challenge leaderboards and see all of the top spots occupied by people who only ride indoors. Zwifting in air conditioned comfort is not the same thing as riding a real bike outdoors in real weather conditions. Completing the monthly distance and elevations challenges outdoors during the winter months requires an entirely different level of commitment and suffering. I know we can currently 'add others' to an activity, and I also know that we 'group' with others - but it would be great if we could tag others in photos we upload.  There has been at least one occasion (while on a run), where I ran into somebody I know - we snapped a selfie (if there is more than one person in a photo, is it still a 'selfie'?), then continued on our way... we didn't group together in the activity, but would be great to be able to tag in the photo as a way to link our runs.   Perhaps after photo upload, you could click photo and 'tag others'.  I think from a 'privacy' standpoint, we could have a setting in our account to 'allow others to tag you', so that you can prevent unwanted tagging (if a Strava Athlete then did try to tag you, they would get a message saying "This Athlete has elected not to allow tagging" or something similar). ... Allow users to set in their profile "Mute By Default". This is a privacy setting, users may not wish to "flood" their friends or groups feeds with activities, even if they wish to record these activities for their own record. Additionally, Mute should be able to be enabled on the web platform too, not just the app. ... View more

Has the team explored the idea of tracking entire amateur soccer games? Soccer fans have become very data/stats literate over the last 10 years watching and analysing their favourite professional teams or playing video games like FIFA. But the price point for professional soccer tracking equipment remains high while more amateur/hobby level equipment is tailored to cycling or running. Could Strava partner with some local teams to put together and test out an offering that presents data collected from wearables each player might already own? Football is a collective sport so while useful, tracking heatmap or distance of an individual is useful it doesn’t really tell full story of they played in the game. You need to see how your data relates to everything else that happened and at different times in the game. We should be able to view all of the segments we completed in an activity when viewing from the mobile app.  Currently, we do not see any hidden segments and often some random others don't show up as well.  There is no way to "unhide" those in the mobile app either.  The only way to see all of the segments completed is to pull the activity up on a web browser which is cumbersome when not working from a desktop computer.  Please expand the mobile app such that we at least have the option to unhide and view the missing segments just like we can on the web browser version of the program.   ... As the community can not create public segments for Zwift, please could you publish a list of all segments (about 400) and maybe notify Zwifters when a new segment has been created. eschlange does an excellent job creating segments, but I have seen a select few others that have created segments and I understand Zwift themselves may have taken over creating segments. Currently the address privacy function works for the beginning and end of rides. Why not have it work for anywhere on a ride? I visit my Mom by bicycle and the ride goes up on Strava. I have added her address to the list of hidden addresses, but Strava does not hide the address because it is not the beginning or end of a ride. I could stop the ride when I arrive at my Mom's and then start a new ride when I leave, but I prefer to simply stop the timer, put my device to sleep, then start it up again when I ride home ... this way all my riding for a day is in one ride instead of multiple rides. ... Please add 'bush clearing' and/or tree branch trimming to activities (or similar). On MTB trails, this activity is quite common and strenuous. It is usually performed by the same cyclists who practice another type of activity (cycling, running, etc.) Furthermore, with this type of activity available on the app, it would serve as an INCENTIVE for people to participate more in this also important stage of MTB activity. It would be so nice to be able to view activities by piece of gear. Now, I know that in the web version it's somewhat feasible, but: There's no such an option in the app, and that shouldn't happen. You can filter activities on web, but it must be a "double match", e.g., type of activity and piece of gear. In poor words, I can watch all my runs with a certain pair of shoes. But I can't watch multiple type of activities with the same piece of gear, e.g. I can't wiew walks AND runs with a certain pair of shoes. This is something that can be good value for many athletes who use multiple pieces of gear. I alone have four pair of shoes, two bikes, my brother's bike, and so on... ... View more

It would be cool to have a section where common rides or runs for that person are filtered to display all the activities that you have done with that specific person. So let’s say I am A and I am friend of B on strava, when I go on B’s profile I can see already all his activities. Below the map in the workout details up to six stats are displayed. Some devices capture more than six and depending on the device, Strava chooses which six appear. Let users choose which six stats to prioritize in that summary.
