Locked out my Strava can’t remeber password and email address is no longer in use oh and trying to get someone at Strava to assist is impossible!!

Hello - I'm Melissa. I'm from Michigan and I generally ride bikes of all sorts. I recently started volunteering for a Michigan bike oriented group. Looking forward to reading posts on this forum.

In looking to see if Strava was worth it, I couldn't dind a clear list of free ca paid features, but found an article about privacy and that I have to opt out of everything. Every. single. option. to allow or deny a privacy permission defaulted to sharing data except the health data option. I'm giving Strava a try to possibly replace Google's Fitbit before they completely butcher it. This privacy thing is a huge turn off. Is it worth staying if I stay on the free license? I'm just interested in biking, and maybe discovering new routes locally.

Have you ever wondered if you can use Strava’s power analysis features  to help increase your performance on your Peloton bike?  The answer is yes!   Here’s how to get started: All Peloton bikes measure power output (referred to as simply “output” on Peloton), and output is a key metric in the Peloton ecosystem.   FTP stands for Functional Threshold Power, which is defined as the highest average power you can sustain for approximately an hour, measured in watts. To determine your current FTP, take an FTP test ride on your Peloton bike.  Once you know your result, you can enter that number into your Strava profile: Scroll to the bottom of this page for Instructions to enter your FTP in your Strava profile. Once you’ve entered your FTP, you’ve optimized your Strava account to use our power analysis feature and you’ll be able to analyze your power efforts in detail after the ride..   One of

Like most of you (i'm sure), i'm a long term Strava user across multiple sports and activities including running, hiking, cycling, E-Mountainbiking, Analogue Mountainbiking etc.I have recently begun tracking a new activity.. ELECTRIC FLIGHT!As a part of my pilot journey, learning to fly in an ELECTRIC recreational aircraft, i have started logging my E-FLIGHTs with Strava. I'm hoping Starva can accommodate me and other electric aviators with an E-FLIGHT activity category soon so we can fine-tune our clubs and growing community of zero-emissions aviators.I'd love you see your comments or Kudos on some of my routes and images from the sky!

Hello and welcome to another edition of Tuesday Chat with Team Strava! This is a special time of year for those of us in North America. Winter has drawn to a close and signs of spring are everywhere.  And for hockey fans like me, it’s time for the NHL Playoffs.   For those not familiar, NHL stands for National Hockey League and it isn’t strictly “national” in nature; in fact it encompasses teams from 2 countries - U.S.A. and Canada, and features players from many other countries.  The teams compete with each other during the regular season to determine who qualifies for the playoffs, which usually begin around mid April. Ever been in that situation where someone gives you a thank you and then you instantly say thank you back? Or is it just me who instantly feels the need to say thank you back as a way to offset my blushes. Either way it's really a nice compliment when you receive a thank you and can turn an average day into a better one.  Behold the 👍! What strava has done for me. For me, strava has played a big role in my weight loss journey. And it all started a couple of years ago when a colleague pushed me to lose weight. And wanted me on strava. So he could keep an extra close eye on me and give me kudos when i was active. It was heavy, but I felt the little kudos I got and the little pressure to register something. It motivated me further. Unfortunately, I hurt my back, became unmotivated and deleted the account. Gained weight, and life became heavier again. But i never completely gave up. After treatment and physiotherapy. Then it was back to good old strava. Competing against myself. Set better times, get higher on segments. And bang, to this day I am 45 kilos lighter. And it just keeps getting better. I have recruited others and created group challenges. And the feedback is that more people feel driven and motivated to be more active. Answer: The domestic cat Cats are supreme athletes and acrobats due to their muscles, bone structure and brains – their bodies are built for speed, jumping and flexibly.  It’s amazing to think that your healthy house cat that sleeps 15-18 hours a day and with no training or conditioning can run as fast as an olympic athlete, jump (proportionally) higher than basketball players and contort their bodies in ways gymnasts would envy.  All that rest and sleep is to conserve energy for short, very active periods.Let's meet some of the cats that are part of the Strava workforce.... Hi all, I wrote a book called  "Reflections of a Runner:  365 Verses from the Heart"Strava helped me write this book because I use Strava like a journal for thoughts. I took my Strava posts that were reflections/poetry and combined them together into this book, then cut down until I had the 365 best verses in 8 chapters and 85 pages. The book is focused on the philosophy of running and explores thoughts on racing, time, courage, mindset, art, purpose, wisdom, and training.   The purpose of this book is to inspire you to create and turn the act of running into an art!If you are interested in philosophy and running, I think you will really enjoy the book. This is not a traditional book that is read from beginning to end. Read one verse or one page of verses, then stop. Put the book away or use the other half of the page as a place for reflection. Write your thoughts. I encourage you to write your own reflections in the book, in a journal, or on your Strava posts!Here

In February of this year, a powerful earthquake hit parts of Turkey & Syria killing more than 49,000 people and leaving millions of others in need of basic life necessities including shelter, food and clean water. Our community members and the folks at Strava wanted to show support to the people affected by this disaster. To raise awareness and help the people of Turkey & Syria, Strava hosted a global challenge. Strava also made a donation to the International Committee of the Red Cross, which provides direct relief to those affected and displaced. We want to thank each one of you that participated in the Earthquake Relief Challenge and/or donated to the Red Cross’ efforts. More than half a million people participated in the challenge and raised over $85,000. This challenge may be over, but you can still help the people in Turkey & Syria.
