I am writing to you because of the latest update with Strava routes, they are very poorly generated, they are of the same type and do not correspond to the requests at all. I understand that the developers wanted to do the best, but I kindly ask you to return the previous version of generating routes for a premium account.

I feel that consistency is ultimately a leading factor when referring to progression. I think without continuity progress is unattainable and merely a mirage. I myself have slipped quite often these past few years and that basically relates back to me not being constant day in and day out. I've been taking more of an easy back door approach which is difficult to admit especially when referring to one's self, it's definitely not an easy thing to admit. I know all I can do is whatever may be necessary that particular day for me to do. But most importantly do not skip a day or days. I must remember that when it comes to goal setting, "one day at a time is unmistakenly number one!"

Et pourquoi ce n'est pas possible de revenir en arrière. J'ai fait un 24h récemment, lors du téléchargement il affiché bien 24.00.15 puis après le recalcule de la distance il affichait 18.40.12  J'ai voulue revenir à la distance d'origine mais ca n'a pas fonctionné. Hi,Is anyone else having issues with Android and One UI with Strava and Push Notifications?For a while now i have been missing any notifications on the app being pushed to my phone, have tried uninstalling and reinstalling, but now luck with that. I have recently updated my Phone Software but not resolved it, there has been at least one Strava App update but again no fix to this problem. Feel like i am missing lots of comments and replies and also activities by my favorite atheletes.I have submitted a ticket but there is minimal updates on the situation and i feel like i have been forgotten about, just want to know if the issue is widespread or specific to a certain OS version. I pay annually for the subscription that has went up but i feel like i am not really getting much for my money especially now that i have this issue. 

Recently My heat map stopped showing my water activities (kayaking, canoeing, etc).  Does anyone know if this will be fixed?

Hi Strava users! I'm taking my road bike to Denmark and was wondering if anyone has any tips for rides in Jutland. Also I’ve read somewhere that all bikes need a bell and sets of reflectors by law, I hadn’t planned for that, and I’ve never seen most road bike riders with these attached in the uk, or any other European country. How strictly is it enforced? I will have lights but am unlikely to be riding at night. Thanks for your advice and clarification!

I don't understand the fitness score. If I do a very hilly slow run, then my fitness score only goes up by 1. The same distance on flat tarmac at average pace, my fitness score goes up far more. It doesn't appear to take account of elevation gain or gradients which is annoying.

Today I received an email that I lost a KOM on a ride from August 2023 that I did not do , I actually was 300 km away from a factious ridiculously fast ride doing another ride at the same time at home . looking through my calendar I found one more ride that I didn’t do , …what’s going on ?   Have I  been hacked ? 

I make fairly intensive use of the Strava map function to plan cycling routes, and while many aspects are great (crowdsourcing popular routes especially) I have a growing list of things I think could make route planning better. I’d be interested in hearing other people’s views…and am hoping Strava can do something with the thoughts below. Including major road names/numbers as standard on the Strava map would be a good addition, especially when route planning in an unfamiliar area. It helps to know you’re not inadvertently planning a route down the local bypass.it would also be really helpful if the Strava map you use for route planning showed your favourited segments on it. Case in point, from time to time I try to get real about tackling some proper (uk) hills. One of the things i loved about strava, and why i started paying for subscription, was the heatmaps. They changed them a while back and have not been as enjoyable. However, a recent change change has made them almost a waste of time. I ride a 60 mile ride at least once a month and, each month its in a different place. I would love to see these adding to my heatmap but, strava does this stupid color variant where the fewer times you ride the route, the harder it is to see. So... when I look at my heatmap, all of the amazing rides are barely visible. Strava should change the heatmap back to how it used to me. The heatmap is a map of routes weve ridden. If weve ridden the route.... we should be able to see it. At least you could make this an option. Many of us needing to use third party heatmaps to get the effect. 

Since several weeks, it's impossible to share activities to instagram story.Can you help me ?

Hello, I am a somewhat new runner who would like some advice from any longtime runners. I am trying to find an affordable watch to use when logging my running. I have been using my phone but it is big and uncomfortable to wear on my arm so I am looking for a watch. I really just need it to log distance and time accurately. Anything else would be a bonus. I have found a few cheaper watches, but I have read reviews that say they do not log distances correctly. Any advice and suggestions would be appreciated.CoCo_Mend

Why is this happening? I have not covered this distance. I use the app on my phone Моторола G72. 

Hi everyone. My name is Gary, and I am new to Strava. I currently own a Aviron rower and have been syncing my workouts with Strava. However, I might be overlooking something, but I can't seem to find anywhere on the website or app where Strava shows the total amount of meters rowed. When I used to have a Concept2 rower, their website would show the lifetime meters rowed. Thank you.

I have created a segment but it is'nt showing up on the explore or search functions.  I have it as a created segment and starred for my use.  It is public.  Why is it not showing up?thank you in advance.Keith

Hello. Here´s an idea. When we edit activity, we should be able to alocate more than one equipment to the same activity. For example, if we change shoes during the activity, that feature would be very usefull for counting the distance for each shoes used.What do you think about it?

Suddenly I follow a lot of people I don't know. I haven't done anything active to follow them. Has anyone else experienced the same thing and know why this happens?

Does any one facing app freezing issue in ios app, there are multiple scenario  where it freeze like 1 .while searching athlete.2. while scrolling notification.

Hi, on my last run I went slightly over 5k and it showed me the time from when I exactly hit 5K.however for this run I’ve just completed it’s only done the 1k, 1 mile & 2 mile times, no 5k any idea why? Thanks 

Im giving up on this app, my feed is so full of strava notifications that i give up trying to find the posts i am interested in. Everything seems to be designed to encourage getting a subscription, mine stopped when the cost was secretly increased.Its sad really, this used to be a unique and useful app but there are better options out there now
