Although not everyone in the world writes dates in the MM-DD-YYYY format, March 14 or 3/14 gives everyone the opportunity to celebrate Pi Day and most importantly Pie. We love Pi Day at Strava, celebrating every year with our own home made pies shared with our team.  When participating in any type of activity I am often extra motivated by knowing what snacks I have packed in my bag or what places I can stop off along the way to buy and enjoy good food. To celebrate and honor International Women's Day on March 8 (and all month long), Strava has partnered with the Hot Girl Walk™ creator, Mia Lind, to raise funds to benefit global initiatives. Hot Girl Walk United – is a global challenge to commit more time to movement. Bike rider for 40 years+; used to race. Today I ride to keep fit. Winter training is inddor using Kinomap and XERT.Started using Strava to aggregate my inddor sessions and a better overview. Strava also allows XERT to pull my Kinomap sessions in for a full picture of my current training state.Pleasantly surprised by the small challenges available in Strava, great motivators, and I thus wanted to join the Le Col Season Pass challenge as I felt it was both achievable and worthwhile the effort.But how do I reach the 1000 meters of elevation when only cycling indoors?For XERT sessions, these probably will only record elevtion when running in slope mode something I have not yet tried.In Kinomap, elevation gain is recorded when riding challenge mode, but it appears not to sync this data to Strava? How do I get Kinomap and Strava to sync the elevation gain?/Ulf

Hi Strava Community, Is there anyone else out there like me who does a lot of self care and training recovery and wants to log it on strava?I’d like to make it where more of us are:1. Doing preventative activities together as a group2. Sharing what we are doing as training recovery and self care to inspire others on our feed so we stay healthy and get stronger3. Providing accountability to do the training recovery work outside of the actual workouts by posting, giving kudos, tagging, and sharing what we are doing for self care.Does this appeal to anyone and how could we make this happen Strava? 

   There are two things this Community Hub thrives on - kudos and accepted solutions. If you are using Strava, you are probably familiar with that amazing feeling of receiving a kudo for your hard work or giving a kudo to recognize someone's amazing achievements. There is no better feeling than seeing all your efforts supported by your community of friends and other athletes! In our Community Hub, we like to say that kudos are forever - and they are often given as a thumbs-up for good content and a pat on the back to its author. Your kudos help to boost the value of certain messages and enhance the reputation of their authors. 

   I have come across too many challenges on Strava that make it impossible to claim any prizes though deceptive practices for those who make the challenges. Has anyone delt with this issue before? I currently am dealing with "The Feed" for the second time with unmet rewards. They now owe me twice. Other challenges flat out offer 'money' in the description but will turn around and re-word the deals when anyone gets to the rewards pages to include Subsciptions, purchase, Expiring rewards. I'm getting tired of no help with this.Anyone else?

HI everyone , i realise this has been discussed before but I've just done a segment in singapore and it seems like the first 20 ppl in the segment could be flagged as most have a running pace of 2:12 ish. it seems flagging is an activity on its own. can i do multiple flags ? maybe if you don't have enough data you shouldn't be aloud on leader boards, i.e HR and cadence being the main data sources for runners  and if the  times are faster than world records they  should be flagged automatically.

Please figure out a way to profitability. I can’t imagine a world without Strava and I don’t want to. If you need to charge more, do it. I think we all appreciate what this means to millions of people. In my opinion this is the last, and best, well-lit corner of the social web — it is open, honest, fun, positive, and builds community through sport.

Growing up Canadian, I was not tuned into the world of professional soccer (football). By “not tuned in”, I mean I didn’t know it existed.  Like most Canadians, I lived and breathed the sport of ice hockey, or as we called it, hockey. In a land where winter can be 8 months long, and every small town has at least one hockey rink, inserting the word “ice” was simply not necessary. I ride a Computrainer which requires calibration.  Every time that I ride the CT and upload to STRAVA the warm up and Calibration is not included in the total kilometers because the actual event has not started until 15 minutes of Calibration is completed.I estimate that on every event or ride 20% of the total does not register to STRAVA.This adds up at the end of the year.Solutions??

I may be missing some existing features but I'm curious to learn if there is a way to meet like-minded individual's that are nearby to me (i.e. in my city). I travel a lot (digital nomad) and have found great joy in being part of some running clubs for a few weeks.Unfortunately, a lot of places in the US don't have existing running clubs (that I can't find through a Google/Facebook/etc. search at least) but I'm sure there must be other runners out there that might be interested in showing a newbie around their town.Is there a way to already do this in Strava, or could this be a way this community hub is leveraged? Thanks!

Hello Community Hub 👋     Wow, we are already in the second week of December and marching towards the half mark - what a busy week in the Community Hub with all the talks about comfort and discomfort, introductions of new members, and some chats around the Strava features.   Congratulations to the Community Hub members: ⭐ 

I have a feeling that I'm not alone here, but maybe some of you all have ideas on how to improve in this area.  I have a hard time taking a day off, or even having a recovery day.  I know that I should do more recovery and rest days, I know that I should stretch more... but I just don't do it.  I keep seeing my Relative Effort numbers in Strava (and my Weekly Intensity), and pushing myself to constantly increase them... which (eventually) leads to some form of injury (pulled achilles, knee pain, etc.) - forcing a long break from the activities I love.  I just find it so hard to take a rest day (I end up feeling like I'm lazy if I do).Q: How do you motivate yourself to rest and recover?
