I have a Huawei GT3 watch which I use to track my cycling activities. This goes into the Huawei Health app. I then use an app called Health Sync to transfer these activities into Strava. I do not track activities with the Strava app.This works as expected, tracking duration, distance, speed, heart rate and route in Strava.What fails is then syncing these activities to Google Fit using Stravas built in integration. For activities to show up in Fit I need to open each activity in Strava, use the "edit" feature and then save the activity again (don't even need to make any change). 

Hello Strava Administrator, and Strava Athletes Alike,Am I missing the obvious, or has the following topic been overlooked?  Strava awards accomplishments like KOM/QOM, and cups for Top 10 over segments.  Kudos!  But what about some new type of recognition for age-group leaders?  In virtually any real-life race or competition, age-group winners are also recognized in addition to the overall winners.  It seems like a no-brainer that Strava should do the same.  I know that subscribers get the age-group listing also, but a person has to look that up.  Why not award a virtual trophy of some kind as soon as the ride is uploaded to Strava so followers can see and acknowledge that accomplishment the same way it's done for KOM/QOM and Top 10?  People who get out there, and get out there and challenge themselves as they enter the upper age-groups should be recognized for that.  This seems too obvious to be overlooked by Strava.  Am I missing som

It would be great if the app would tell me when  a segments is starting and ending on bike rides so I can push it or try to beat the fastest. 

Hi my Garmin EPIX gen 2 juste got Power data in the new beta update (10.39 Beta) it all seems to work except no power data is uploaded to Strava when my Garmin Connect Sync (with Strava). Is this something I am doing wrong or just not currently working?Is someone else experiencing the same problem? Or find a solution? Happy for any help 😃 Best Regards Sam

I forgot to start my Garmin until halfway into my ride. Is there a way to correct the starting point on an in-and-out ride where the start and finish points are the same? 

Hi!I had several activities synced to an old strava account that I had.I exported some of these activities by selecting "Export Original" and on a new strava account that I created I selected "Upload Activity" to upload the activities.The activities were successfully uploaded but on "My Stats" window on profile page the my stats are blank even after pressing refresh stats button.Is strava able to compute total stats from several uploaded activities from one strava account to another?If so kindly advise on how to do so.Thanks.

I was a free user for a couple years, and decided to upgrade when features were taken away from me, I am sure in an effort to convert users to pay, that makes good business sense.  After being Premium for two years, I would like to see my membership fees going to provide more and better services to members.  Instead it seems like the free users (like my GF) get more and more limits on the services provided.  I understand the push to get people to convert, but as a paying member, I would like to see that my money is going toward improve the service not just further limit free people. It is seriously getting me to consider another service. I am not a "power user" and I cannot tell you what would make it better, sorry.  One last thing: Local legend status for only three attempts seems pretty silly.  I am not sure of many legends that have only done something three times.  Maybe the limit should be something mor "legendary", like 10.   Please give th

Hello and welcome to this week’s edition of Tuesday Chat with Team Strava!   Let’s start by harkening back to 2009, the year Strava was founded.  At the very beginning, we supported one activity type, (cycling), and one device type (Garmin).  If you were a cyclist with a Garmin cycling computer, you could use Strava. Oh how things have changed!  Over the intervening years we’ve expanded to include a wide variety of activity types, including water sports, winter sports, indoor workouts, and many others.  Some of our most recent activity type additions include Football (soccer), golf, sailing and skateboarding.  In addition we’ve worked hard to integrate with a large number of devices, Apps, and platforms, so our Athletes have a wide variety of choices when it comes to recording their data and getting it on Strava. Hey there, Has anyone else noticed that in their profile page, all of your KOM's are gone? But when you go to an activity with a segment that you hold the KOM on, it still shows you as the KOM holder? Activities are not reported or flagged in My Activities list. Is this a bug right now on the Strava backend?

I would like an achievement flag for EQUALLED and existing achievement and a way of seeing the delta time to your overall personal PB.At the weekend I went for a fast 5km run.  I achieved 2nd best time for 5km but I can’t see what my all time 5km run time is??Was I just a second or two off or was I minutes away?please please 🙏 

This never used to be an issue but it started off with just the first photo being out of order. Now multiple photos are uploaded out of order and I have to go back and manually sort them. This is when adding media through the app.When selecting media, it literally numbers them which used to indicate the order they should be displayed in. It was also helpful because of another bug in the app where you can't upload more than 30 something photos at a time or it'll crash the app and you have to start all over again.The QC seems frustratingly bad these days as more and more little things that used to work, don't anymore.

Who invented Segments? 🤔 🤔 Long before Strava existed, cyclists were talking about their fastest times up iconic climbs. We all know “if it’s not on Strava, it didn’t happen”, so how did segments originate? They were invented by one of Strava’s co-founders, Davis Kitchel, inspired by a Wednesday night group ride in the late 90s. “There were notable, locally named climbs with well understood start and finish lines during which the ride turned into a race to the top with the prize being stature and bragging rights. Not everybody could make it to each Wednesday ride, which often led to comments with no proof like ‘Oh, I rode that climb last week and was at least 30 seconds faster than we rode today.’” With nothing to back these claims and verify them, Davis, a software engineer, set out to obtain better data and keep track of efforts. Here’s your Tuesday trivia question: How did Davis Kitchel originally document cycling climbing times in the pre-Strava segment era?

I can see that there is a quite some different in the moving_time recorded by Coros Pace 2software compared to what is uploaded on Strava when Coros Pace 2 is in auto-pause mode.On my recent trip ca 53.7 Km the difference is  Coros Software App reports - 2.12.04 , Strava 2.14.47... The activity has ID : 7951184272Why this difference , seems to me that something with the detection on movement is wrong. 

It would be interesting to be able to indicate on the map the points where we take the photos/videos that are placed in our activity.

When you upload GPS tagged media from the website it appears where it was taken as long as you use the website. Doing the same from the app doesn't work, would be nice if it did!

A cool feature might be to be able to share activities only with clubs or only with certain clubs. Up to now it has only been possible not to release activities, only to release them for followers or for all Strava users. Releasing activities only to certain clubs would have the benefit of being able to share your activities with your friends and coaches, but leaving your competition out of the loop. In this way, Strava would become a great tool for collaboration between athletes, coaches and training groups beyond its previous functions.

Last month I took part in the Virtual New Balance 5th Avenue Mile. Seemed simple. Run a mile [fast] and Strava would count that in the results. As I always do, I ran several time during the challenge window. I made sure to run one mile super fast. Unfortunately, Strava took a seemingly random mile from that period and uploaded that instead.I'm just trying to figure out if this was a bug or if I did something wrong.

  Here is a feature I use often. On the use profile there is a histogram of weekly mileage shown below. Clicking on each week also shows the total time and the total elevation gain for that week. Until recently there was an option to switch between the "Weekly" stats and the "Monthly", but the "Monthly" option has been removed. Only the "Weekly" option remains. As far as I know there is no longer a way to get the monthly stats in any other parts of the Strava UI. Can someone from Strava comment on this? What was a reason for removing a useful feature. Speaking of this feature. It would also be great to see an up-to-date summary of stats and compare that to the previous years. Basically I want to know whether I am ahead of behind the previous year (and the years before) in my mileage and elevation gain. There used to be a feature in Stravistix plug-in that displayed a graph comparing up-to-date stats between all years, but that is no longer working and Strava itself has nothing li

If I go to the Strava Athlete Heatmaps page, I am seeing some strange behavior where some Rides are being shown when I filter for Runs only. It seems like this happens for 2016 and earlier years (and therefore also shows up for the "All-time" option)For example, here'a screenshot showing that I ran around Lake Tahoe. I have sadly not done something so epic..Anyone else seeing this bug? Can someone from Strava take a look? Thanks!

Hey guys , any idea when Strava will stop ruining mountaineering stats? A week ago I was hiking Kilimanjaro and I was surprised how badly Strava is working while hiking or walking slowly at high altitude. My Garmin data show the elevation gain of 1200 meters and 9 hours of hiking during the summit attack but then after the synch with Strava, my stats showing just 500 meters of the elevation gain and 2 hours of moving time in the app.

I am reporting a bug. It's cosmetic but annoying. If there is a better place to report this let me know. "Hey Google. Start run. Sorry, that shortcut will only work on an Android phone with that app installed" This Google Assistant command works fine without warning until you add in "Pixel Buds Pro". Could weather data be enlisted to create a new grouping of segment achievements (similar to the age / gender / weight groupings) based on wind direction? Wind assisted PR’s and KOM’s can be impossible to compete with.
