It would be really useful if the Webhook Event "aspect_type = update" of "activity" would be triggered for the "gear_id" field.I'm building an app and would really like to be notified when the gear_id of an activity just changed. For my app, a change of "Gear_id" means a lot.Thanks.

With the addition of so many new activities, I now have trouble scrolling through them all on my watch to find the one I want to use and sometimes choose the wrong one. It would be nice if you can choose favorite activities to make them either show at the top of the activities list or hide all activities besides your favorites. Separate note, with all of the recently added activities, how has unicycling not been added yet? I have friends who do this with no way to really record their rides other than using the generic cycling activities and they have no chance of ever hitting leader boards. They need their own.

I was wondering if Strava could add a dislike button to comments, kinda like the Like button

I am receiving double notifications for all of my activities starting yesterday. Just wondering what is happening

First off all sorry that the folowing screenshots are in German. Hope this won't be big issue.When I receive new kudos or one of my favorite contacts uploaded a new activity I receive a push notification:When I klick on this notification I am directed to the corresponding activity. I can check who elso gave me kudos or I can leave kudos and/or comments on my favorite friends activity. So far so good.The question is: If I do like above why does the number batch on the bell and home symbol not disappear? Why is it still necessary to first open the notifications (bell symbol) and then switch back to the home screen again to make the number batch disappear?Is there anything here that I'm missing or could this be revised?

I have recently noticed an influx of previously unheard-of riders who have appeared in the Club I ride with.  I am not the administrator of the Club, but I thought I would ask the question anyway - "how has this happened, have any other clubs come across this glitch, and how do we remove them"?  They are also clogging up the Leaderboard!

Hello,I have some difficulty to really appreciate the Start Points feature on map because it’s misleading with real geographic points.For instanceI can see ‘Start Point to [summit name] with written below ‘x nb of routes’ but I can not see where is this ‘summit name’ which I am interested in.And it arrived that I used the start point location instead of the geographical destination point due to this confusion.If it may be difficult to ensure that associated geographical destination of a Start Point is displayed (such as straight dashed lines in between) I guess it could be possible to see the routes which are associated to those start points ?From my knowledge, I was not able to see them, but only the suggested routes corresponding to the active criteria. I was looking for a hill segment that I wanted to try for the first time, and when I found it discovered that I was already recorded in Strava as having done it.  I looked at the route that I had supposedly done (on 22/05/2022) and it's one that I have never completed.  It does start and end a couple of miles from where I live, and there are some parts that I have done as recently as yesterday(!), but there are others which I don't know at all.  It feels very odd. Has this happened to anyone else?

Feature: Define the default equipment depending on the activity type.For instance: I use different running shoes when running on the treadmill/virtual run than when running outdoors.Also it would be great to have another rule to do the same based on distance of the activity     

My Wahoo elemnt bolt reads 18.3 Ave speed and Strava 18.2 Ave. This happens quite often on many of my rides at the moment. Why is this?

Hi, is there a possibility to switch all stored routes from private to public? Does anyone now how to do. To edit a route and switch while store the changes is well known, but not possible for more than 250 routes.

Hi,I'm a long time user of Strava. But lately a missing hiker have been missing in my nearby area.And few questions remain about what could have been done, with the use of the community.Discussions and community process over rescue are not easy, and quite often spread over many facebook group/forum and apps. And when I believe it is important to leave the professional do the job.Sometimes after few days, lack of budget for the rescue, and or other reasons.The search stop. What remain most of the time is to find the body of the missing person, to help the family. My question for Strava:Is there any way that the search of a area can be done with multiple user, using a heat map to know the covered ground of specific hickers or the community, get access to photo and or any data who could help save lifes? Latest informations seems to have people sharing tracks on Gaia, but nothing easy or simple like tools on Strava.Any way to help ?Thanks

Are there boards on Strava to post if anyone is interested in renting out an enduro e-bike? I have 2, (medium frames) YTs available. Perhaps you've wanted to try one out before purchase of are traveling and want to get a ride in. 

A little while ago Strava added the classification of "CR" for bike leaderboards (and presumably for other Activity types) in addition to KOM and QOM.  So we have CR for the fastest ever performance, KOM for fastest male and QOM for fastest female.  When I am displaced from a leaderboard I usually get a message of the form "...You just lost your KOM on Strava Segment by x seconds".  Yesterday's message was "...You just lost your CR on Strava Segment by 2 seconds" and when I look at the Segment it shows another person has the CR and I still have the KOM (2 seconds slower) - this is fine and would simply mean the other person hasn't declared themselves to be male.  However, if I filter the leaderboard to show men only it shows the other person first and I am second.How can someone be top of the "men only" leaderboard but an inferior performance (mine) has the KOM ?Did I misunderstand something or do I need to raise a ticket with the support team ?

I have athletes showing up in my feed that I did not ask to follow and I do not know. This started about 3 days ago. I did not make any changes to my settings and am unfollowing each one as I see them, but is this a bug? Was there an update I missed?

That was a nail biter of a game between England and Germany yesterday, so exciting to watch!  Kudos to England for winning it!  I'm sure big parties continue today.   I did feel sorry for the German side - the look of disappointment, but somebody has to win, and England have waited so long.Watching the match got me wondering, how many people track Football (soccer) on Strava?  I know I do... and, I've tried it 2 waysRecord as a run: I do this because I like to know how far I've run at the end, but it creates a 'mess' of a map, and also skews my running totalsRecord as cardio: gives me a better 'relative effort' score, but doesn't track the distance.Anybody else record activities like this?  What methods do you do?  Maybe this is something I should put in as a feature request?

I'm participating in a group challenge setup through my company, but have a query regarding what constitutes the challenge being complete, e.g.Rowing target :1500km, challenge end date 12 SeptIn the above scenario, if the distance target is hit before the end date, does that 'close' the challenge from further user input, or will the challenge still accept entries until the challenge end date?If this is covered in a post somewhere, I apologise for the repeat question, but I've not been able to find anything definitive Thanks Tom

So far so good.But why does the bell (upper right) and the home icon (lower left) still show this number?Why do I have to navigate to the notification list and back again to get rid of the number even though I've already been taken to the activity in question via the push notification?Am I missing something or could a review of this workflow be possible?CheersUli

I live in NZ and will be in Brisbane/Gold Coast for a week. Do I have to do anything to my account so that my Fenix6X Pro and Strava will "talk" with each other! Or does it just stay the same?

Hello,updates for local lengend are not made automaticaly. by going to the segment page, the update is made, so it's better than at the start of the problem a few weeks ago.but the update is not made in one case : when nobody is local legend before i do the segment. for example : in this activity https://www.strava.com/activities/7659763885 i do the segment https://www.strava.com/segments/21560708 in the segment page, it's say nothing about local legend. same thing in https://www.strava.com/segments/21560708/local-legendsame probleme in this activity https://www.strava.com/activities/7649876080 for the segment https://www.strava.com/segments/4580916 after the activiity, it's say no local legend. i do again this segment in today activity https://www.strava.com/activities/7682580797 after today activity, the update has been made with the correct number : 2. so the system can say a user is the local legend when nobody was local legend, but that should happen after the first attempt, not t

after the update from august 9th the button '3 more suggestions' is removed from the routes creator on the mobile app.why did strava removed this?Now you only get 3 options to choose out of.please bring back this button or give the user more options/routes to choose of.

When I climb at the gym, strava records elevation gain up, and down, so I always leave with zero 0ft. Is there a setting I need to change to only record what I climbed up, and not what I roped or jumped down?

Good afternoon, It would be convenient to have a "maybe" option once a Ride or an event has been created. This would benefit the group community as it would signal who will be joining a ride and who might also be interested in joining.  I appreciate your consideration, Julien Dion
