Strava Features Chat

Hi everyone, I'm new to Strava and interested in switching over from the UA Map My Run app.  After looking at the Strava web site and watching a couple of review videos I'm not finding what I need: the app I'm currently using can be configured to give me voice feedback in regular intervals with information such as distance & time run, average pace, current pace, heart rate.  Does Strava offer this?Thanks! 

In November I added a new bike to Strava which I now exclusively ride. Therefore I retired my other bikes. The issue is that the cumulative kilometers for this bike are completely off. It says 2600 km while it is actually closer to ~900 km after adding the rides by hand. It does have a separate frame component which also shows about 900 km when I set the correct starting date. However, it does not change the 2600 km on the bike. How can I resolve this?

In the past when creating routes with the global heatmap activated there was a lot more available than there currently is.  If I look at the global heat map outside of the route creator with all sports selected, I can see these additional heat lines.However, if I go into the route creator, there is no option for all sports and so it gets filtered by preferred activity (biking, running, hiking, walking, etc...), but none of these is anywhere near as detailed as the global heat map with all sports selected. Is there any way when creating a route to have the global heat map show all sports again.  I have often used this when creating routes on less traveled trails, but that still had enough traffic to show up on the global heat map (and still show up on

Hi, why don’t I get fitness points for both workouts if I do two workouts same day? Anyone experienced the same?

I've linked my Strava account to my JustGiving account but every time I do a walk, I just see a map showing an area of the Pacific Ocean, and my walk route is not shown when I reposition the map to my location. Any idea why ?

Hey, I recently started a group challenge - 90 miles in 30 days - "90 in 30" and a club "Sam B's 90 in 30 Club". I think a great feature would be to able to add/make challenges through clubs, not just events. So for example my club 'Sam B's 90 in 30 club' would include a challenge every 30 days/month of 90 miles in 30 days (Walking,`Running, Hiking) instead of these two things being separate. I understand this might be a premium feature, since I can only make 3 challenges with my current account. I'm also a graphic designer and would love to create and add my own badge to my 90 in 30 challenge for successfully completing it, make my trophy case all snazzy. Either this is a feature already and I don't know how to do it or could be a great creative opportunity especially if we could create challenges through clubs. Would love to hear everyones thoughts!Sam B  

Some time ago the mobile app spontaneously changed my language from English to Russian. I don't know Russian, I use the English version. How can I restore the correct language? Everything is fine on the website. I reinstalled strava but this did not help.

Hello everyone!In the last 3 weeks, my Strava data started showing steps taken during a walk (in-app, Android).They're wildly inaccurate - today, 5.33 mile walk = 584 steps! 😄How can I stop the steps showing or make it accurate? Thanks in advance, Sarah

When devising a new route on Strava's mapping tool from a PC, I cannot draw the return route over an existing section of the route. Manual mode does not seem to solve the problem either. Is there an easy fix, what am I doing wrong, it used to work just fine, and this is the only reason why I pay for Strava. I am already having to post the group rides in Ride with GPS, but I would rather return to Strava is I could get it to actually work like it used to work. Any guidance is appreciated!

I have my unit of measurement set to KM but all my best efforts are shown in miles. I reinstalled the app after powering my device for 10 seconds but this is still the case. How do can I fix this so my stats are only in KM. Thanks

If I upload manually original .fit file from Garmin, I get new activity on Strava. If I then this activity export to GPX file, the activity remove and again I upload from the GPX file, I get activity with different parametres than the original activity was. How it's possible, it's correct?      

Hi. This is my first post ... go easy on me lolI did a 1h 23m workout this morning. Tracked it using my Samsung Galaxy 5 Watch ... but it only logged as 1m 33sWhen checking on the watch there are not unsynced activates. How can I correct and log the full workout and as 2nd prize at least update the workout time?Thank you

Hi, I'd like to know if someone else also has this issue: my fitness & freshness values differ from the web vs the app... maybe it's not a bug and it's expected, but then i'd like to know why would this be implemented like this? Web: app:   Does anybody have any idea how to sync them again or what happened ?Thanks in advance...

Hello,This isn't a huge deal but for some reason, the power goals I set on the desktop Strava (I don't know if this is available on the app) don't seem to be achieved. However, my power curve shows that the goal has been met. Any idea why this is happening?  

Hi there hope you can help me out, i use a nordictrack incline treadmill (xi7)  for my special keyunits like hiking intervalls or hike /run intervalls and stuff like that. Everything was fine since 2 weeks. I uploaded the tcx.file like weeks and months before but now... no elevation is showing up in my workouts.  On Ifit its the 3rd party where i get the tcx file from everything is fine. And also on trainingspeaks the elevation shows up when i upload it. Only on Strava no elevation anymore...I opend severall time a ticket but since yet no solution ;(I uploaded pictures from everything.  Regards 

On my profile page there used to be a tab for KOMs/CRs and one for "Top 10s" (actually for positions 2 to 10).  I could then filter the KOMs/CRs to see, for example, just bike rides (my main focus).  However, when I look now there seems to be no way to separate KOMs/CRs and Top 10s (although the page doesn't display any Top 10s) and there is no way to filter out my small number of non-bike KOMs.  Were these deliberate changes ?  Can they please be reversed ?This is what I now see...

Not sure where to post this but I have a simple query.I have been a Strava subscriber/member for a year or so. Strava is a hugely popular app with massive user following, and is both intuitive and highly complex.But I cannot find a section on basic terms and definitions.For example, in recording my walks, my main form of exercise, I have found myself confused between "Activities" and "My Routes".In accessing Activities, and when hovering the cursor over that Activity on desktop, the option to "Save Route" is provided.If I want to retain the details of my Activity, it appears that I should not press "Save Route", as this seems to then save the activity to some other previously used route, with stats such as elevation gain, time taken, heart rate, etc saved in accordance with a previously saved route or activity? And the stats for this activity are then lost. Is this correct? This is an essent

I cannot remove best efforts for all segments from 400m to 10mi.  They are all based on a run which had bad GPS data.  I tried flagging the run but I am not sure if it is flagged currently.  For example, it says my PB for 400m to 2mi is 3 seconds! I am not that quick ! The raw data is from Suunto watch and is accurate in terms of distance and time despite bad GPS data
