1 question : if I cancel my subscription in Strava from member to non member can I keep my data and pictures? 2 question : without the subscription does the map mode can be activated in order to find my ways?

If I flag a segment will the User who be notified of who it was?

Currently, I have 1,242 activities on Strava. Each 20 activities are displayed on my activities. So, it is difficult to find out my old activites. When I want to go on my 900~920 activities, I have to click 45 times. Could you change to easily go on wanted pages with 20 activities such as 1, 2, 3, 4..... page number?I wish that "Search" feature will be changed. Currently, I can search the activities only when I write down the words completely. For example, I want to search for all activities with "20" on them. But, activities with "200k" are not searched.Thanks.Hojin CHA 

1. How come all my rides are now listed as """virtual rides""" and I can't change that?2. When I'm doing Interval training the table of Interval data has NEVER been correct.3. How come if I have GPS turned off for part of a ride, Strava only counts the time GPS was on?4. How come with GPS turned off (which is the default for me) Strava can't tell the difference between 'time moving' and 'elapsed time', making everything 'elapsed time' and skewing all my other ride stats because of that? (I have to work around this before uploading data)Strava people, you keep pressing me and everyone else for a Paid Subscription, but with the above problems alone I've been right on the edge of just deleting my account entirely, I don't actually need Strava at all for any of my training, it's just so people who know me can see what I'm doing. Why can't you fix how buggy your site is. then maybe you'll get more interested from someone like me to pay for it?

Hi All,I’m just wondering if anyone is able to help. Strava has logged my run at 22:52 however it says it’s my third best 5k at 24 minutes+ which makes no sense. I’ve never seen this before, and wondered if anyone else had?thank you in advance   

I've been using Outdooractive (formerly ViewRanger) for several years now. I decided to sign up for Strava to check it out. It looks like it might be a better option for what I need but I'm having a little problem moving over data.I exported all my "tracks" from Outdooractive to GPX files as well as FIT files. This was a pain to do one by one, but it's done. However, when I try to import them into Strava, it doesn't bring over the title for each, which is pretty important to me. If I open one of the GPX files in Notepad++, it correctly shows the name of the track within the <name> and </name> element tags that are within the <trk> and </trk>. But it doesn't bring them over into Strava's activity for the title - instead, it just defaults to things like "Afternoon Run."Is that expected behavior? I don't want to manually have to change all of these in Strava. Can I make changes to the GPX files before importing them into Strava so it'll carry over the names of

Hi — I have a v weird glitch happening. I have segment audio notifications on so when I’m running I get the notice of half Km / times. That works fine. But after I have finished running, hours later, when the app is actually closed, I get random announcements of completing half a Km and a random time. Loudly on my phone.  I am not moving, I properly finished and uploaded my previous workout and the app is closed. Last night ut did it 9 hours after my run while I was in a play and my phone/ watch were in theatre mode. Any ideas?

Hey, Gang: I’m 75, and train seriously. Yesterday and today I pr’d on several local segments. The main page indicated that I had a pr for several segments and the times for the segments were correct, BUT my age group (75+) shows an older time (a few months prior). I repeated the same segments today and pr’d again, and the same thing happened: Strava indicates my correct time, but my age group (75+) shows an old time. It’s the same issue on the all time and the this year’s portions, as well. Here’s what I’ve done to try and remedy the issue: 1) Waited 24 hours (no change); 2) Deleted the biking activity, and reloaded from Garmin; 3) Repeated the same ride the next day (today), but no change; 4) Reached out to Strava to talk with support, and sent photos (they haven’t responded in any meaningful manner (just promises); 6) Logged in, and restated the program. Most athletes have a little ocd, so forgive me. Any one that has experienced the same issues have a solution? Grazie, Tutti

Please bring back the KOM category icons in the athlete KOM lists.  It was a quick and easy way to see and differentiate actual climbing koMs from flat segments and others.

1. Everything fine after my new garmin 265 upload the activitiy to Strava , but strava didn't show the data is from 265. However my old 945 does. anyone got this problem too?2.  Is it possible to change the data field from Calories to Average HR?

I noticed a few days ago that someone has changed the format of the KOM lists in user profiles to show, I think, the number of users to have completed the Segment.  This would be a good improvement but when I look today the additional column is no longer there.  I thought there might be some explanation in the forum but I couldn't see anything (I try to sort posts by newest first but it doesn't seem to work so I'm not sure if I missed something).There is a new tab to now also apparently show Segments with Top 10 placings, which also seems a good idea, however, it currently shows I have more KOMs than Top 10s which makes no sense to me (surely every KOM is also a Top 10 or am I missing something ?).There also seems to have been a change to date formats which now show as ambiguous m/dd/yy - this may be fine for people using "American" format but I personally find it confusing (I have to think whether 3/04/23 might be 3 April or 4 March).  Can we please go back to non-ambig

I have new strava profile.  Why in search conntact not showing my prifile?

I love the auto pause function so that Strava pauses when you stop running to have a sip of water or tie your shoes. The only unfortunate thing is that it doesn’t give the ‘real’ picture of a run and makes competition and comparison more unrealistic. As it is now, you can run as fast as you can for 2 miles and then sit to eat lunch for 30 minutes before running again as fast as you can for 2 miles. Strava will then, with auto pause, show that you have been running very fast for 4 miles which is not exactly true. A way to make use of the function in a good way would be to be able to show on an activity if and perhaps how many times the activity has been paused. This would make Strava better by eliminating unrealistic ideals in a world where everyone compares oneself to every other.

Hi,  My daughters name does not appear on the leaderboard for a certain Segment. Is it because of her age? She can see on her run analysis that she has clocked a time on the segment but her name does not appear on the overall list. Regards Ivan

Did the developer think, when they released a feature, which allows to automatically hide the start- and end-point of a ride, that maybe, just MAYBE, that should NOT be applied to VIRTUAL rides?I can imagine, that someone does not want to bother setting up geo-zones of privacy, and they want to use the new feature (that is automatically enabled btw) for their IRL rides, that they do not want to have to edit each VIRTUAL ride? (especially in a clumsy way, where the start- and end-point have to be edited via separate sliders, instead of the UI providing a simple button, which disables hiding of anything, if people do not want to use the feature on that ride .. if it really "has to" be done manually for every VIRTUAL ride)Let's be honest - I do not care the slightest, if everyone knows, that I did a VIRTUAL ride in Spain, Chile, or Australia .. and I strongly doubt, that ANYONE does.

A recent change to user profile of the web version presents a column heading indicating "Total efforts", but the data being shown is the number of members who have traversed the segment.  As a member may cross the segment numerous times, these are two different values... number of people and number of attempts.  Can this be corrected?   Either the heading or the data in the field. Thanks...   

Hi. I would like to keep the analysis (altitude, speed, cadence, power and power fields) visible for an upcoming cycling activity and only turn the map (i.e. the location of the activity) invisible. Is this possible? I tried this on a test basis with a friend. After he turned off the full map on map visibility, the "show analysis" function was also gone.It would be great if there was a solution for this. Thanks!

The price increase in google play cannot be confirmed. As soon as the pop-up dialog "confirm identity" appears, nothing else happens. Tried with multiple browsers (chrome, firefox, edge, opera) and devices (Windows PC and Android).

why aren't the segments of MTB and eMTB not the same? it's easy, just create 2 different rankings for each segment, one for MTB and one for eMTB. me and my friends who switched to eMTB, we realized that there are very few segments marked for eMTB, less than 10% compared to those for MTB.

Does anyone know how to access photos during route creation? For example I am working on a new trail run route and I can see photo icons on the map. But there doesn't seem to be a way to click the photo to see it. If I click (or cmd click or ctrl click) it adds the photo location to my route.Seems like I am missing something simple - these photos would help me with navigating the planned route.

Hi those interested and knowing.I've only recently realised that "auto excluded efforts" is a thing since around March 2022. I thought it was bad gps data when some of my efforts went missing but retrospectively many were auto axed.Today I did a really hard effort following another bro going downhill and almost broke my PR for a short downhill segment, also a record I've been trying to beat every chance i get and consistently hitting the same times.There are others who went the same speed on the day but as far as i can see they don't have estimated watts whereas mine is estimated at 1200W max, i don't have a powermeter and obviously sitting behind a rider makes going faster easier so i question this metric and how strava calculations got there. I use a Garmin products, Edge 130, cadence and wheelspeed sensors.I'd like to know on what basis and which rules these excluded efforts are calculated?!The segment has an obviously broken first place and the next 5 spots are all 90km at 30s, so

This is a privacy concern (hence Apple prompts to allow / disallow access). But why is Strava trying to access my local network at all? There's no reason for it to be rooting around my WiFi.  Have Strava maybe accidentally used third party code which is maybe a bit malicious? 

If I want to record an cycling activity on my iPhone I tap on the 'record' symbol. Since the last update the default activity is set to 'running'. Then I have to manually change it to 'cycling'. This is irritating me and I wonder if there is a setting where I can change the default to 'cycling'?Thanks!
