Hi!! I love checking out my status and updates and go to give myself a thumbs up and it won’t allow me to. I love giving  myself kudos and wish that was an option!  

I subscribed to Premium mostly for the extra features. But I find them not very user friendly. I have to either go to the browser and find the page, or open the app and navigate a few steps to find F&F. Would there be any way to find my fitness score or effort via  widget or notification or even API request?The app could give some daily report to help you train more or less. Counting kilometers is really not useful.Thanks! 

Hello Strava Community, I am writing to inquire about the capabilities of Strava in tracking static activities, particularly those involved in cleaning homes or offices. As part of my daily routine, I employ cleaning activities, and I'm interested in using Strava to monitor and record the physical efforts involved. However, I am doubtful whether Strava is optimized for tracking static or non-traditional exercises like cleaning.If any members of the community have experience using Strava to monitor activities such as cleaning, I would greatly appreciate your insights. I am particularly interested in understanding how accurately Strava can capture the energy expended during these static tasks and whether it provides meaningful data related to such activities. We use a Strava club to manage our High School MTB team (like many teams). However, the members include parents and coaches in addition to the athletes. Keeping track of athletes progress is difficult since there's no way to filter out the parents/coaches. It would be wonderful to 'tag' the members and then filter based on the tag but until then, does anyone know of a 3rd party tool that uses that Strava data to do something similar?The ultimate goal is just to see athlete-only data on a weekly basis.

My wife (65) has an iPhone 8 with 98% battery, it's quite new, but it runs out on long runs so she is trying low power mode that I setup. This allows her to stream a radio station and strava to keep going in excess of 6 hours (she needs that when she tries a marathon).  The announcement comes through starting run, but there is no kilometer announcements so she doesn't know how far she has run. If I take it out of low power mode, the announcements are back. I have looked at the iPhone notifications settings and they are all on for strava and have looked at the in-app settings and they also say the notifications are on. My question is simple: Is there some way I can ensure the kilometer announcements remain on when the phone is put into, or goes into, low power mode? Thanks for any help. Kevin

Hi, first of all I haven't updated this app for a while and there's no problem with the old version. But yesterday, when I tried to update it to the latest version (336.11), there seems to be a bug or something wrong with this latest version. I encountered a few issues:The routes/maps are messy and also the max speed is nonsensical.On the homepage, none of the activities from my friends that i followed are appearing.Can someone please provide a solution, thank you 🙏 

I noticed when uploading today that my weekly bicycle mileage is no longer available for my free account. I now have to keep track by hand or by looking at my bike club link to see what the mileage is. The feature has been replaced with the following. 

I've just had a spin class (while wearing a chest heart rate monitor) and, when finishing the activity, I chose a wrong sport by mistake (I don't even know what it was anymore). After editing that (I've tried a bunch since, but it's on "workout" now), it shows an elapsed time of 30+ minutes (which corresponds to actual active time), however it also accounts for a distance of 0.37km (a bunch of jagged lines around the building) and a matching moving time of 5+ minutes, leading to big distortions in the heart rate data and graphs. As I understand it, the "workout" (and others) category should ignore the distance data, no? Perhaps the fact I at first chose a sport that accounts for distance permanently screwed it up and is not being corrected even by editing it? Any suggestions?

I have an Apple Watch SE. ever since the new software was downloaded I have been having issues with Strava. It will not start my activity right away and sometimes it will crash and reload mid run.  Am I the only one with these issues?

Would be great if Strava could categorize courses, or offer some kind of difficulty score.  (GAP doesn't do it).  When watching the Tour de France, they have categories for the hills.  Would be great if you could categorize individual hills during a run, but better yet to categorize the entire course.  Boston may be net downhill, but it's a lot tougher than running a flat course.  Courses that have hills at the end would be more difficult than the hill at the beginning.  There's a lot that goes into that determination, just hoping someone can come up with a good formula.I just think it would be a very interesting conversation piece for people to be able to talk about the difficulty level of the courses they've ran.

Start and end of virtual rides are hidden, at least on Rouvy. Until we are all robots living in the matrix, I'm sure it's ok to disable this. 

Where the **bleep** has Mt. Kenya come from against my name....? Is it just a little something Strava adds for fun.? I have absolutely no connection with Mt. Kenya, the mountain or the country and can't remove it from my profile... If it's just a thing 🤷, what's the point...!Oh & now I'm " Shkhara ".... 🤔 🤔 & TIA. 

Hi all.  I've made some adjustments to Strava's heart rate zones that better fit me, rather than just using the "auto calculate" based on my max HR.  The changes were saved but when I go back to past activities, the HR Analysis page is still showing time grouped into the old zones.  If I click on the bottom link "Based on your heart rate zones", it shows my updates.  Why doesn't Strava re-group the HR data from previous workouts into the adjusted zones??--Jeff

Hi.  Another ride today with my custom HR zones. I use more physiologically relevant zones, with particular attention to the "orange" zone (from memory about 75% to 85% of max).  In any case, I have custom zones that focus on the 65 to 100% region. However, my HR histogram uses the default HR zones.  Why?  The only thing I can think of is that I upload it from my Garmin 810.  But those aren't my Garmin HR zones.  Why would Strava apply the default zones when I have entered and selected custom zones? Am I making a rookie mistake?  Are the programmers making rookie mistakes. Yes, I'm a long-time subscriber.  This feature is the main reason.  To be more accurate, I subscribe in the hope that one day this will work.  Is it hoping for too much?

After I updated the app today, my training diary and progress graph have switched to display in Km, despite opting for Miles in settings. Activities in the feed still show in miles. I’ve toggled from miles>Km>mile in settings a number of times but the training diary and graph still show Kms. Wtf?

Either I recently changed my settings inadvertently or the goals have disappeared from the dashboard page.  If you navigate to DASHBOARD / GOALS - that block HTML on the right that shows you goals used to be on the side of the dashboard screen.  Now it's gone.  Maybe it's a performance thing, or maybe they want more clicks.  Either way I used to like seeing there.  And sorry if it's me changing a setting somewhere. plpinto 

Is it possible to show the organizer of a group activity as the group itself rather than the individual who posted the specific event?

**found out that it's a private route which I can't change to public**I have been sharing my created routes with my riding partners for forever but with the new update there doesn't seem to be an easy way to share my routes with my riding partners.  Where can I share via text like before on an apple device?

Tried to create a route the last two weeks and it detours me into roads I choose not to go..In other words, route creation is useless because Strava changes my route and will not let me select roads wish to ride.  I have looked every place for a fix and toggled everything to change preferences.  Strava support said use manual route...which is possible.  HELP

I navigate using saved routes on my android app. In the last few days the app has stopped opening my saved routes. I've tried on two different mobiles and get the same message "server not responding please try again later" Saved routes will open using my windows laptop. I've tried logging out and back on but to no avail.

Is it possible to manually input training impulse on the Freshness and Fitness page? Power meter wasn't working on a recent ride, so no entry was made on this Strava page. A significant uptick in fitness would have occurred if the data had been registered. So my fitness curve is not reflective of actual fitness. On Training Peaks, data can be manually inputted such that it adjusts fitness based on your estimates. Even if not totally accurate, it seems better than a curve which doesn't move at all based on the lack of data. Thanks.

As a Strava user for over 10 years and several as a subscriber member; it is truly disappointing to continue to use the app and find Strava has removed access to every possible feature to those whom are not a subscriber! Sad that an app that many use to better their health by monitoring their activities and search for motivation to improve; you only find disappointment that every feature is a must subscription driven! Did you ever think of young students who are staring out a sport and they cannot afford a subscription. Strava has millions of paying subscribers sad you are so money hungry!
