Hello Strava, I recently found an issue where images currently selected for posting cannot be viewed in full.I feel this would be a great addition so users can check photos are correct. You could potentially allow the images added to a manual activity to allow for a tap to display, then exit as chosen (X). Allowing users to find safety in posting photos from a photographical standpoint. Thanks.

When clicking the "Don't see the segment you're looking for?" link at the bottom of an activity, the list of potential segment matches is just a simple list, with no links to follow to the individual segment page. Would be very helpful to add this feature for route planning in areas with confusing overlapping trail segments, and for segments that are not heavily traveled and don't show up on the segment explore map.

For days now I can't see my notifications because the page is constantly loading, this is all I ever see! I have uninstalled the app, switched my phone on / off, logged in/ out and nothing seems to help. The app is constantly freezing as well.it's so frustrating I expect better when paying for a subscription service!  

Seem to get a “Mapbox GL not supported by browser” error now that I have moved across to IOS17. Is this an error on my part or a bug from the Apple update not allowing Strava to work?

I just noticed in my profile that today I made the 6,000 km in the year. BOOM!! When I switched to the dashboard view, I noticed that my annual goal only shows 5,948 km. What is true now? (Sorry for the German screenshots)

I would like to be able to save Routes to a Club, so that we have a 'library' of routes that Club members use - I have my own routes, and other club members have theirs too, but it would be very good to be able to select some of them and share to a club, eg for a club ride, or just as a reference for good local rides. Is this facility available? 

The menu accessible through edit button on "My Activities" page is missing the new activity types like Tennis for example.

I marked my bike for "Virtual Ride" and I thought that ALL indoor cycling will be matched with a bike I choosed but it's not. I have to correct used bike every time manually after. Not everyone using Zwift to record training indoors. I just ride with wahoo bolt connected to my smarttrainer and that's all. You should add "Indoor Cycling" in "Default Sports".

Question for the group: when I add a manual activity, I enter the time I did it but on my feed it shows as an hour earlier. Does anyone know why this is and how to fix it?

I recently used Strava (iPhone app) on a backpacking trip. The trip was a combination of trails and backcountry routes, all of it in steep terrain, over several days. On a couple of the backcountry routes, the elevation gain shown for the day was wayyyy off. The most extreme example is a day on which I know we started at about 3500 feet, climbed up over a saddle at about 5500 feet, then descended back to about 3500 feet. There's a little give and take and I think the elevation gain for the day was around 2200 feet or so. Strava shows 7500 feet of gain that day. That's wildly inaccurate. If I look at the activity in the app, there's an orange bar called "view analysis" and if I go there I find a graph of elevation that shows the ~2200 feet of gain very straightforwardly. I cannot reconcile this with the 7500 foot figure. The website version does not have the analysis feature, for whatever reason.Anyone have any insight into how this works and what might be going on

I am experiencing a very slow strava app on my android. Everything takes very long to upload. Both wifi and 4g. I tries to re install the app without success. I am not using a vpn... 

It's been this way for at least 5 days now ... wtf is going on?Maybe it's since the new 'enhanced' waypoints launched.  How or why this would happen or would be thought a good idea is beyond me.  But for me, routing is now almost completely useless.  This compounds the already broken segments on routes.

Can I record several sections of a run as one event? I am planning to run to the train station, pause Strava, jump on a train, get off the train, start Strava again, run to another station, etc. Can I do this as a single event?

It seems that the Route detail page (when you click on a Route under your Strava > My Routes) has changed recently, and doesn't display which segments are starred. You need to click a Segment to star or unstar. This worked just fine in the "old" (much better) version. Which is a BIG anoyance to me.With the old page, I could plan a Route, and then easily star Segments right on the page. Those starred Segments were then pulled over to my Garmin Edge. The new page makes this way more difficult. I would need to click on each Segment separatelly, and there are dozens of them.Futhermore, on the "old" (miles better) page, when you put your mouse over a Segment, it displayed where it is on the map. This feature is gone.Please, bring back the previous very good Route detail page.

I think AVG POWER on Strava by my e-bike rides is not correct (today 276 W; October 23 with heart belt 259 W) - it is too high and incorrect. When I am riding on non e-bikes, my AVG POWER is 130-170 W, I am not able to make 276 W or 259 W... It seems the avg power by e-bikes does not have correction by el. engine and batery?

I keep starting a trace, and then missing the first few KM of my runs without knowing about it till Strava DOESN'T give the first audio update at 500m.When I start the trace I get a "GPS Acquired" confirmation, as if everything is okay, but in reality the app never gets a GPS location from my iPhone13 that it is happy with.Strava NEEDS to make this clear to the user with a banner at the top saying "GPS data being dropped", or some such status.Further, if you have audio notifications turned on and it doesn't establish this is the state before you put the phone on standby and put it in your pocket, it needs to make an audio warning telling you every 10s.The user feedback is shocking, and it is NOT the fault of the poor GPS on the phone.If it did you could reboot the phone, etc, before you got anywhere too far in your run.

Is there still no way to export existing segments into GPX files? The only thing I could think of was creating my own route, but you can't seem to do that from existing segments. If I manually choose a start and end point, it doesn't accurately follow the trail. Thanks for any input!

It adds a waypoint every time I click on the map. But if I plan a route on a complicated trail network and want to get the route exactly the way I want I need to click on the map a lot. That isn't different from how the route planning worked before. But now it inserts waypoint at every point I clicked at the map. But what's next? - I can't rename those waypoints. Names don't stick.- I can't remove those waypoints because that triggers the reroute. That's not what I want. - Waypoints don't propagate to Garmin. That was the main feature I expected.Basically, these are not true waypoints. They are more like anchor points that Strava calls waypoints. Waypoint is what I want to be notified about during notification. For example Garmin devices allow tracking distance remaining or ETA to the next waypoint. That's not what Strava provides with this update. In fact, as I can tell nothing has really changed other than entering a point by searching for it

Recently, I've noticed my Split Pace and distance to be very off. At first, I thought it was my Apple Watch series 6 that was providing inaccurate data.  But today I ran on the treadmill where my watch and treadmill provided consistent data at a consistent pace, whereas when I uploaded to Strava, the pacing was all over the place by 20-30 seconds off of what the watch and treadmill were telling me. The total distance in the splits was also off by 400 meters, but the overall summary total distance looked accurate. The treadmill run / loading the activity onto Strava looks like it confirms the fact that my Strava has been grossly inaccurate when uploading the data off the watch. Anyone else experiencing this issue and any tips to fix?

When I look at the activities of other people, I see whether someone has improved segment times, set a top 10 time, set a KOM time or whether this person has become a local legend of a segment.When I look at my own activities, I only see a trophy on the web with the number of my improved performances and whether I have driven a KOM or top 10 time. In the App, instead of the trophy, gold/silver and/or bronze medals of improved segment times are visible. If I become a local legend for a segment, I cannot see this.People who follow me will see this. They clearly see "Sander has just become the Local Legend of segment X".Now I can see in the app and on the website under my profile that I am a Local Legend on several segments, but why is that not visible to me in the activity where I became this, while followers do see it?Why is the laurel crown not visible next to the KOM, top 10 and medailles icons?

Due to the different disciplines (mtb, road, gravel) and the different vehicles (e-bike, bike), it would be useful and coherent if the segment ranking were shown by filtering the results based on the type of activity (mountain biking, pedaling, gravel) and excluding (always) the performance collected through the use of electric or pedal-assisted bicycles to avoid distorting the results.
