This feature is imagined to encourage and empower exploration on routes or trails, which you have not yet experienced! It logs mileage exclusively when you explore a route or trail for the first time, and keeps track of your overall “unique mileage”. By logging fresh miles, one uncovers exciting new trails, fosters a sense of adventure, and connect with nature, neighborhoods and/or like-minded explorers. It’s a tool to inspire exploration, new challenges, to break a routine, or get outside one’s comfort zone, and make a workout a journey of exploration and surprise. It can backtrack your current heat maps and calculate how many unique miles you have already done, too. Challenges / badges could be set for fresh mileage monthly, and goals set for XYZ new route miles per week/month/year!
