I agree and the same for “manual” routing button warning

when the strava set the flyby automatically off for everyone, that was their biggest mistake, a totally thoughtless step, should set off by auto for who has "followers only" and "private" but not for "everyone". Now only a very low percent of users have flyby-enabled... and it was one of the coolest feature... (and it is only one of the their bad decisions in the past few years...)

@Luko79 - I totally agree.  Strava essentially destroyed the functionality of the Flyby feature when they unilaterally turned it off for everyone without saying anything.  Most just figured it was removed altogether.  No many even thought to go digging around to find it buried in the privacy settings.  Complete FAILURE by Strava.  One of the multiple times they have felt like they knew better what we wanted than we did.

@anchskier exactly!

Indeed, indeed. And that is (or maybe "was") the single best feature of Strava.

This is new, I think?

I didn’t have to accept again after opening another Flyby window. However, it’s saved as a cookie, so you’ll have to accept again on every browser you log in to. Also, I haven’t tested, but you may have to reaccept whenever you close your browser (which logs you out of Strava).
