When viewing a route on a web browser, it would be beneficial to see a floating map and/or elevation profile while browsing the various segments on a route.
On longer rides where the list of segments take up the whole page, viewers need to scroll past the map and elevation profile of the route to view all segments. This prevents a user from seeing the corresponding elevation profile and map section of that segment once they've scrolled past those maps.
Having a hover option or putting the segments into a scroll box would enable users to view all of the segments and their corresponding elevation profile and map section without needing to scrolling up and down or open a segment in a new tab.
