Dear Strava-Team.I recently had the issue of not noticing that i forgot to restart my paused roade bike ride, becase i obviously did not tap the "continue" button on my mobile app correctly. And since the small icon at the top edge of the cellphone screen (circle-icon notification) is the same when the app is paused as it is when it's recording i did not figure the status of the mobile app correctly. My fault in the firtst place. I think it could be helpful if the icon would point out the different status of the app by showing a differet icon. It already does when "auto pause" is applied. Maybe you could find a solution for this rare issue, even if i know most riders record with a different device, but mobile/cell phone, it would be a big help for app recordings. My best regards,Daniel aka Yung Ullrich 🌹

Hi guys, The problem is my training record title is in russian language even though the mobile-phone language is English.What I had tried that didn't help (new records still on russian) - Change language on phone and change back to English - Delete Strava and install again - Set English in web StravaPhone: iPhone xr, ios 16.6.1, but It reproduces on other ios also  

How about driving detection? I finished a hike and I'm tired, so forget to turn Strava off. To make matters worse I c can never figure out how to crop the route. My solution is to just delete the activity. Not optimal. 

There should be an option when viewing the map to not have to see other peoples pictures and the "see this location" option. Let us turn that feature off through filters.

Update from Strava July 2, 2024: Hello! Thanks to all who have commented and provided feedback. We're listening, and we recently made an update that will improve the accuracy of Challenge leaderboards that contain walk and hike activities. We know leaderboard integrity matters and we will continue to iterate on improvements. Could I also flag up a (possible) issue with the challenge leaderboards? Some of the challenges seem to have implausible achievements that do not tally with profile data. For example, in the February run climb challenge there are several athletes with tens of thousands of metres of climbing at the top of the leaderboard. These figures don't correlate at all with the activities recorded in open profiles and I thought I would flag it up.

Hello folks, I recently had an activity, where, according to the timing, I scored a KOM on a hiking segment. When I uploaded the activity to Suunto, as always it got transferred automatically to Strava, but Strava showed all the segments completely wrong, so I deleted the activity from Strava not knowing that I can still re-load some features of the activity to have it fixed (I know, stupid me...).I still have the activity in Suunto app though, having the .fit file available. My question is, when I import the .fit file with the activity to Strava, will it count achievements towards the overall leader board or manual loads will include only stats without any achievements?I already tried to contact Strava support if they can recover my deleted activity (activity was deleted after it was saved to Strava, so should be possible...) but so far no response, so looking for alternatives.Many thanks to all for any advise or comments. 

I have a current bike set for all ride types for MTB.  Retired bike has ZERO ride types set.  Retired bike gets set on every ride!  What am I missing?

I would like to see "Mountain Bike Ride" listed in the Sport drop-down box on the My Activities page. You have Mountain Bike Ride listed in the Manual Entry page. Basically these two should align. Thank you.

Hi, My strava has stopped showing calories burned after a workout. My account is synced with a polar watch and has always displayed calories burned up to last week when it suddenly stopped? I can see the calories burned through my polar account but am not sure why it is not transferring over?

Hi there! I'm sure everyone received the email today with the subject line: You’re fast! Want to know how fast? Apparently, you can now see where you rank by percentage on segments. BUT when I clicked the button in this email that says "SEE YOUR RANK" there are no percentages anywhere that I can see for the segment I was shown for me or anyone else. Where do you find this percentages feature?P.S. I have seen a low % next to my name on leaderboards in the past so it's got to be somewhere but since this is being announced as a new feature and I don't see a percentage for the segment the button took me to, I'm confused about how it works/where it is. Does anyone know? 

I use my apple watch to record my whole ride but the distance that is only posted was half of what I did. It seems that the time spent was correct but the total distance was inaccurate. When I hit save on my apple watch after my ride, it did not record on strava app. I restarted my phone, apple watch and force close strava to see if it will reboot and record the data, but it still did not work. I tried to record and save a new one (just like this community suggested) By doing that, it did post the data from the previous ride that was not recorded. However, the distance that was recorded was wrong. is there a way that this ride can be adjusted to the full distance that I did? 

Since today none of my routes will load in Chrome. I've cleared the cache and logged out, but still no change. Thoughts?James

HelloI am trying to upload routes for an event I am doing next month. I have uploaded the gps files for 5 of the 7 routes but I am now getting a message "sorry there was a problem processing this request. Please try importing your file again or try another file". I have tried a number of times and tried different files but no look. Can someone help?Daithi

Hi,I'm using Strava for cyling, feeding Strava from my Wahoo Roam 2.When I add up my yearly KMs from the activity feed vs what I see in my yearly goal total KMs, the KMs show in goals are higher by 75 to 100 KMs, it changes everytime do a ride, as I am now checking everytime.Any reason these don't match and Is there something I can do to fix this issue ?Thanks,Fred 

Copied this from previous post where no solution was given. I am having same problem and DO NOT want to get emails every time someone else comments on the same activity I have commented on. Strava: please fix your problem with this!!!Every time I comment on a notable activity (such as a race) of another Strava user, my email inbox get flooded with comments from other users on the same activity, most of whom I don't know and completely uninterested in their comments. Most of these comments are simple congratulations.Is there any way to stop that? I have already unchecked a corresponding option for a push notification, but I still get emails. For example, after yesterday's race, in which I also participated, I received at least 20 such emails about someone who I don't know commenting on another person's race.   

Hi there,  I just realised that I turned 65 last October, but none of my efforts show up when I filter by the 65 - 74 age group.  On a ride I did at the weekend, all segments that I am shown as having completed show me as placing "-/123" (for example) in the 65-69 age group and I do not appear in the full filtered listing.  I have double checked that the correct d.o.b is entered on my settings.The same is true for other rides I have completed since my birthday, well those I have checked.

Strava has me following people I didn't follow / request. When I delete them it deletes someone I actually do follow. It's like it's mixed up names or something. I deleted everyone I follow and then added back those I want to follow but it followed people I didn't add again and not all those i did add. Been on Strava for 7 years, never happened before

I use a Wahoo Roam bike satnav to accurately track my route, gears, cadence, speed etc which I then upload to Strava. I also wear an Apple Watch to track my heart rate. Is there some way to merge specific data points in Strava? What I’d like to do is to enhance my Wahoo route upload with my Apple heart rate data - but avoid double counting the speed and other data that the Apple Watch tracks. 

 Not sure where is the best place to log it. I only start using Garmin this week, so not sure if it’s something that’s going to correct itself. Under my fitness age I have a recommendation to lower my BMI from 20.5 to 22.7.

   The iPhone app doesn’t you read the full group description. Idk if that is just a bug or something that has been missed. 

Hi Strava Team,Why not offer users a choice between a free version (with ads) vs. a paid subscription (no ads) like Spotify/YouTube?I want to share this in order to start a conversation and see what the community and Strava think. This is coming from a place of trying to find common interests among the users and Strava. I read the clarification this weekend and understand that the price increase is necessary due to the cost of running the service with more activities, data uploads, and the increase in users.This is important because:Users want to save money during an economic downturn, but do not want to lose Strava and previously free services (like Year-in-Review & Leadership Board) that used to be available to them.Strava needs to generate money a
