Strava beacon and Garmin connect not working like it used to

Hi all.  Not long ago I could start a MTB ride on my Garmin Fenix 6 and 7 and it would start a livetrack (auto start), then I could go into strava>record>beacon, and grab the url of the ride to share.  I did not need to start a recording in the strava app because, of course, it was getting it from Garmin.  This made perfect sense. Now, no matter what I do, I cannot get a share URL for a ride to work unless I start a ride as well in the strava mobile app.  Even if I have a couple contacts with phone numbers, it does not send.  If I share the strava beacon link, the receiver gets the attached screen saying "status activity not started".  I even tried setting my phone number as one of the safety contacts thinking I would get a text of the beacon url to then put into our group rides via "whatsapp" which is the use case.  To make it work I have to record in the app, then it will show a live ride.

Huawei health cannot sync to strava

I unlinked my Huawei Health account to my previous Strava account, which belongs to my sister, and linked my Huawei Health account to my new Strava account, which is mine, but it seems like my old Strava account can still be able to sync my data from my current Huawei account and nothing is syncing to my new Strava account. I'm using Huawei Watch GT4, please help me.

"CMF watch pro 2" from Nothing phone - How to connect to STRAVA?

I have a "CMF watch pro 2" from "Nothing". How can I connect it with Strava? I found the synchronisaiton CMF to STRAVA in the app, it is done, but it doesn´t work 😞 no chance to get the training synchronized with STRAVA. What do I have to do to get the connection working?

Timeframe for Solving Issues

I wondered if anyone had any idea how long it takes to have an issue resolved. I raised an issue nearly a week ago as I paid for a subscription and it hasn’t applied to my account. I’m now nearly a week in with a wasted subscription and no resolution. It was kind of made worse by the fact I had initially clicked on the free trial and got charged. Not really sure what to do really as I’ve already lost a week out the month subscription waiting for a reply. Any pointers?

Syncing error Stryd

Although most third party issues look to have been solved. I still have issues with stryd and syncing to Strava. I reached out to Stryd, they’ve indicated that the issue still lies at Strava.

Hello everyonetoday after finishing my outdoor rin on apple watch, I foget to press DONE so the workout does not link to strava. I need it to link to strava as we are in a race. Please give a solution for that. Thanks

Zwift ride video clip upload

Hi,Has anyone had issues as regards playback of Zwift ride video clips on Strava? Video clips are meant to be 15 seconds long but mine gets to around 3 seconds and just repeats in a loop Thanks

Saved activity not showing

Hi I am new here so maybe this is a repeated query. I just finished a ride and saved the data on the app. It even shows in the notification bar of the app that you can see the analytics by clicking. However, when I click that, it opens an earlier ride of august 19th. Also, I can’t find the Aug 21 (I.e. today) ride anywhere. Nor is it synced with health app. Did I make a mistake in saving the ride or is it something else I should do.

A new track doesn't start on app Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 using the quickstart tile

Since August 10, the Strava tile on my Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 does not start a new track. After an attempt, the tile with 4 icons returns. App permissions are active. A new track with the app works, but not with the tile. App already deleted from watch and phone. But the problem keeps coming back.

Strava not syncing swimming from Huawei helath

Not sure why but my swim data is not showing up in strava when synced from Huawei health ? Runs/walks are showing without any issues

Intermittent syncing of separate activities from Polar Flow to Strava.

Polar Grit X logs all activities to Polar Flow, but several activities will not sync to Strava. Random activities never sync like runs, and hikes. For example, of the four activities completed on one day, the second and the third activities did not sync. Ensured Strava app up to date, uninstalled, reinstalled, still same problem.

Strava on iOS - no calories for workout/martial arts activities (Apple Watch ultra 2 + Garmin hrm)

Hi all. I’m recording my activities mostly with Strava app on my Apple Watch Ultra 2 and collecting heart rate stats with Garmin hrm connected to it. This setup perfectly works for running/cycling/walking/swimming, and not working at all for workouts or martial arts, such as boxing. It is not possible to wear watch during boxing training, so I’m forced to take it off, having only Garmin hrm on me. The struggle is that Apple Watch is not able to keep recording training activity when it’s off my wrist (big thanks to apple for that). So my only option to record activity is to start recording on my phone. And here is a catch - recording Strava activity using mobile phone results into missing calories, despite I have my Garmin hrm on me. My questions are:1. Is it possible to add calories for Strava activities where heart rate data is collected? I saw that only running/walking/cycling/hiking are currently supported, but I do not need high precision in those values. 2. Is it possible in

Tomtom Sports

Hi everyone, does anyone else use a TomTom watch to record their runs and then upload to Strava via the TomTom app? They announced last week that they are closing it down at the end of September, meaning users will no longer be able to upload their runs. I'm assuming I'll need to buy a new watch, but would be interested to know if there is a workaround? Thanks 🙏

I can´t post in my own Club

I have been unable to post in my New Balance Urban Mile club for a few days now.When I try to click on publish, I get an error message like the one in the attached picture. How can i download all my data with using Apple's private Emails

Hello everyone,I’ve had a troubling experience with this. I’m currently using the login method via Apple's private email and would like to download my data to my PC. The process indicates that my data will be sent to my email, but I haven’t received any email from Strava—actually, I’ve never received any emails from Strava at all. I’m using Gmail for this account too, so I can’t switch my private email to Gmail. What should I do next?Strava support, please assist me with this issue.Thank you.

Notification iPhone Locked Not Syncing

I often get a message after a workout that my iPhone was locked and Strava did not sync.  If I don't respond immediately to that notification the activity seems to just disappear  to Strava and is never synced. I am not using Strava to record the data but have allowed syncing from the health app.  One time after it happened I saw some other activities in the strava app for iPhone but don't see any way to get to that screen. Is there a way to see what has synced from Apple Health to Strava and force it to import an activity if you miss the notification?

Ticwatch GPS drift

The Strava app on my Wear OS based Ticwatch Pro 5 is suffering from accuracy problems, mainly related to GPS drift. I'm finishing runs with 20% more distance than what is actually correct. This issue does not occur when using the default "TicExercise" app or the "Gear Tracker II" app under the same conditions (same trail, sky access, etc.). I can see the problem during the run and after uploading.

Gps disconnects from phone

My gps tracking disconnects from phone during hike unless tracking screen is always on. This started happening recently.
